Precautions
Location
Using the unit in the following locations can result in a malfunction.
• In direct sunlight
• Locations of extreme temperature or humidity

Power supply
Be sure to turn the power switch to OFF when the unit is not in use. Remove
the battery in order to prevent it from leaking when the unit is not in use for
extended periods.
Interference with other electrical devices
Radios and televisions placed nearby may experience reception interfer-
ence. Operate this unit at a suitable distance from radios and televisions.
Handling
To avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
Care
If the exterior becomes dirty, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use
liquid cleaners such as benzene or thinner, or cleaning compounds or
ammable polishes.

Installing the battery
Whenyouinstallorreplacethebaery,makesuretoturnthe
poweroafterdetachingtheRimpitch-C2fromtheguitar.

depletes further, the note name indicator will ash, and the
meter will not function smoothly. Once this occurs, it’s time
to replace the baery as soon as possible.

Attaching to the instrument
Aach the Rimpitch-C2 to the lower side of the sound hole
so that the display is easy to read when you place the guitar
into playing position. The Rimpitch-C2 detects the pitch and
tunes by picking up the vibrations of the guitar.

Tuning
1. Pressthepower/CALIBbuontoturnontheRimpitch-C2.
The current reference pitch will light up for several sec-
onds in the referrence pitch indicator.
To turn o the Rimpitch-C2, hold down the power/
CALIBbuon.
If the power is left on for approximately 3 minutes without
any user input, it will turn o automatically(Auto power-o󰮏).

Tune your instrument to the correct pitch so that the
desired note name lights up. To tune a semitone higher,
tune your instrument so that both the note name and the

Changing the reference pitch (calibration)
With the Rimpitch-C2 turned on, press the power/CALIB
buon to change the reference pitch in 1 Hz steps.

Seings are remembered even when the Rimpitch-C2 is
turned o. However, seings will be initialized when you
replace the baery. (Default: 440 Hz)

Tuning
1. Drücken Sie die Ne/CALIB-Taste, um das Rimpitch-C2
einzuschalten.
In der Referenztonhöhenanzeige leuchtet die aktuelle Refe-
renztonhöhe einige Sekunden lang auf.
Um das Rimpitch-C2auszuschalten, halten Siedie Ne/
CALIB-Tastegedrückt.
OPEN-Taste
Wenn das Gerät etwa 3 Minuten lang nicht bedient wird, schal-
tet es sich automatisch aus (Energiesparfunktion).

Meez le Rimpitch-C2 sous tension et appuyez sur son inter-
rupteur d’alimentation/CALIB pour changer la hauteur de
référence par pas de 1 Hz.

電池の入れ方
電池を入れるときや交換するときは、本機をギターか
ら取り外し、電源を切って行ってください。付属の電
池は機能チェック用ですので、寿命の短い場合があり
ます。
電池が消耗してくると、メーター中央（○）の緑色のLEDが
暗くなります。さらに消耗が進むと音名表示が点滅し、メー
ターがスムーズに動作しなくなります。この場合は速やか
に新しい電池に交換してください。
1. 本体背面にあるOPENボタンを押しながら、電池カバー
を矢印Ａの方向に押してから、上へ押し上げます。
2.
極性に注意して、プラス（＋）の表示が見えるように電池
を挿入します。
3. 電池カバーを元に戻します。
楽器への取り付け
ご使用になるギターをかまえたときに見やすい様にサウン
ド・ホールの下側に取り付けます。
本機はギター本体の振動を拾うことによって音を認識し、
チューニングを行います。
取り付けできるのは円形の直径100ｍｍ±3ｍｍのサウ
ンド・ホールがあるギターです。
楽器への取り付け、取り外しはていねいに行ってくだ
さい。また、長時間取り付けたままにすると、取り付け
跡が残る場合があります。
楽器の経年変化や塗装などの状態によっては、本機の
装着により損傷を与える恐れがあります。
サウンド・ホールの中に本機が落ちないように、両手を
使って取り付けてください。
チューニング
1. 電源/CALIBボタンを押して電源を入れます。
現在の基準ピッチ表示のLEDが数秒間点灯します。
電源を切るときは電源/CALIBボタンを長押しします。
電源が入ったまま音の入力がない状態が約3分続いた場
合も、自動的に電源が切れます（オート・パワー・オフ）。
2. 楽器を単音で鳴らします。認識した音に一番近い音名
表示が点灯します。
合わせたい音名が点灯するように、楽器をおおまかに
チューニングしてください。
半音高くチューニングするときは、音名と向かって右端
(

)の両方が点灯するようにします。
3.
楽器を単音で鳴らして、メーターの中央(○)だけが明る
く点灯するようにチューニングします。
音が高いときは向かって右側（

測定範囲内の音程でも、倍音を多く含んだ音や減衰の
早い音については、測定できない場合があります。
周囲の環境によっては振動を拾いメーターが反応する
場合がありますが、楽器のチューニングには影響あり

基準ピッチを変える（キャリブレーション）
電源が入った状態で電源/CALIBボタンを押すと、基準ピッ
チを1Hz単位で変更することができます。
