Installing the battery
(Fig.2)
Open the battery cover by sliding it o. Place the battery in the compartment with the “+” side fac-
ing up, and then replace the battery cover. When the battery runs low, the note name indicator will
blink, and the LED meter will no longer operate smoothly. When this occurs, install a fresh battery as
soon as possible.
Attaching the Pitchclip 2+
(Fig.3)
Attach the Pitchclip 2+ to the headstock of your guitar or bass. Adjust the display to the angle that
provides the best visibility. For the range of movement, refer to
Fig.4
.
Pitchclip 2+ may be damaged if you apply excessive force within its range of motion, or attempt to
move it beyond its intended range of motion.
Do not leave the Pitchclip 2+ attached to your instrument for extended periods of time. Leaving the
Pitchclip 2+ attached for long periods of time may damage the nish of your instrument.
Tuning
(Fig.5)

Press the power button to turn on the power. Holding down the power button for longer than one
second will vertically reverse the display

2.
Play a single note on your guitar or bass. The display will indicate the note name that is closest to
the pitch that you played. Tune your instrument to the correct pitch so that the desired note
name appears on the display.
3.
Tune the instrument by playing a single note and checking the meter. The tuning indications dif-
fer depending on the selected meter display setting (
Meter display setting).
4.
To turn o the power, press the power button. If approximately three minutes pass without the
Pitchclip 2+ detecting any sound, the power will turn o automatically (Auto power-o ).

Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à pile en le faisant coulisser. Placez la pile dans le
compartiment en orientant sa face “+” vers le haut puis refermez le couvercle du comparti-
ment. Quand la pile faiblit, l’achage de la note clignote et l’indicateur à diodes ne fonc-
tionne plus correctement. Remplacez alors la pile aussi vite que possible.
Attacher le Pitchclip 2+
(Fig.3)
Attachez le Pitchclip 2+ à la tête de votre guitare ou basse. Ajustez l’angle de l’écran pour
obtenir une lisibilité optimale. Voyez la

pour la plage de mouvement.
N’ouvrez pas le Pitchclip 2+ de plus de 120 degrés. N’exercez pas de force excessive car cela en-
dommagerait le produit.
Ne laissez pas le Pitchclip 2+ trop longtemps sur l’instrument. Si vous laissez le Pitchclip 2+ xé
trop longtemps à l’instrument, la nition de ce dernier risque d’en sourir.
Accord

Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation pour mettre l’appareil sous tension. Maintenez le
bouton d’alimentation enfoncé durant plus d’une seconde pour inverser l’achage verti-
calement
(Fig.5b)
.
2.
Jouez une note isolée sur la guitare ou la basse. L’écran ache alors le nom de la note
dont la hauteur se rapproche le plus de celle de la note jouée.
3.
Accordez votre instrument en jouant une seule note et en vous aidant des indications de
l’affichage. Les indications sur l’affichage varient selon le mode d’affichage actif
( Réglage du mode d’achage).
4.
Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation pour mettre l’appareil hors tension. Si après envi-
ron trois minutes, le Pitchclip 2+ n’a détecté aucun son, il se met automatiquement hors
tension (Mise hors tension automatique).
Réglage du mode d’achage

Chaque pression du bouton DISPLAY/CALIB change de mode d’achage. Quand vous cessez
d’appuyer sur le bouton pendant 2 secondes, le dernier réglage est sauvegardé. Les réglages
sont conservés même quand le Pitchclip 2+ est mis hors tension.

Achage traditionnel:
L’instrument est accordé quand la diode centrale est allumée. Les diodes
gauche et droite clignotent deux fois quand la hauteur de la note est correcte
(Fig.6b)

rage des diodes passe du centre vers la gauche si la note est trop basse

ou du centre vers
la droite si la note est trop haute

Each time you press the DISPLAY/CALIB button, the meter display changes. If the button is not pressed
for two seconds, the new setting is saved. Settings are remembered even when the power is o.

Regular meter: Tune your instrument so that the center LED of the meter display is lit up. The
left and right LED blink twice when in tune

Strobe meter: Tune your instrument so that the illumination stops owing in the meter dis-

. Since the strobe meter has higher precision, it allows you to tune with greater
accuracy. The illumination will ow from right to left if the note is at

right if the note is sharp

Half-strobe meter: Tune your instrument so that the stream stops and only the center LED is
lit up

. The left side of the meter display will strobe if the note is at

right side of the meter display will strobe if the note is sharp

Settings will be initialized when you replace the battery (Default=1: Regular meter).
Changing the reference pitch
(calibration)
Hold down the DISPLAY/CALIB button to enter calibration mode. Each time you press the DIS-
PLAY/CALIB button, the reference pitch changes in 1 Hz increments.

If the button is not pressed for two seconds, the new setting is saved, and the Pitchclip 2+ re-
turns to tuner mode. Settings are remembered even when the Pitchclip 2+ is turned o.

Einlegen der Batterie

Önen Sie Batteriefach durch Verschieben der Blende. Legen Sie die Batterie mit dem „+“-Pol nach
oben in das Fach und bringen Sie die Blende wieder an. Wenn die Batterie nahezu erschöpft ist,
beginnt der Notenname zu blinken, während sich das LED-Meter ungewohnt verhält. Legen Sie
dann so schnell wie möglich eine neue Batterie ein.
Anbringen des Pitchclip 2+
(Fig.3)
Befestigen Sie den Pitchclip 2+ an der Kopfplatte Ihrer Gitarre bzw. Ihres Basses. Drehen Sie das Dis-
play so, dass es komfortabel abgelesen werden kann. Bewegungsbereich: siehe
Fig.4
.
Önen Sie den Pitchclip 2+ niemals weiter als 120°. Eine zu forsche Handhabung könnte das Gerät
nämlich beschädigen.
Lassen Sie den Pitchclip 2+ niemals über längere Zeiträume am Instrument. Wenn Sie den Pitchclip
2+ lange auf dem Instrument lassen, könnte die Lackschicht des Instruments beschädigt werden.
Stimmen
(Fig.5)
1.
Drücken Sie die Einschalttaste, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Wenn Sie die Einschalttaste länger als
eine Sekunde gedrückt halten, wird das Display vertikal gedreht
(Fig.5b)
.
2.
Spielen Sie eine Einzelnote auf der Gitarre oder dem Bass. Das Display zeigt Notenname an, die der
Stimmung der gespielten Note am nächsten kommt.
3.
Stimmen Sie das Instrument, indem Sie eine Saite spielen und die Anzeige beobachten. Die Stim-
manzeige variiert je nach gewähltem Anzeigemodus (
Einstellung der Meteranzeige).
4.
Drücken Sie die Einschalttaste, um das Gerät wieder auszuschalten. Wenn der Pitchclip 2+ länger als
3 Minuten kein Signal erkennt, schaltet er sich automatisch aus (Energiesparfunktion).
Einstellung der Meteranzeige

Mit jedem Druck auf die DISPLAY/CALIB-Taste ändert sich der Meteranzeige. Falls die Taste nicht
zwei Sekunden lang gedrückt wird, wird die neue Einstellung gespeichert.

Normale Anzeige:
Stimmen Sie Ihr Instrument so, dass die LED in der Mitte leuchtet. Bei korrekter
Stimmung blinken die linke und rechte LED zweimal

. Wenn die Note zu hoch ist, leuchten
die entsprechenden Segmente rechts

Stimmen Sie Ihr Instrument so, dass die Beleuchtung anhält

. Dank
der hohen Auösung der Stroboskop-Anzeige können die Noten viel exakter gestimmt werden.
Wenn die LEDs von rechts nach links pulsieren, ist die Note zu tief gestimmt
(Fig.7a)
. Wenn die
LEDs von links nach rechts pulsieren, ist die Note zu hoch gestimmt
(Fig.7c)

Halb-Stroboskop-Anzeige:
Stimmen Sie Ihr Instrument so, dass nur noch die LED in der Mitte
leuchtet

Abra la cubierta de la pila deslizándola. Coloque la pila en el compartimiento con la cara de “+” ha-

No abra el Pitchclip 2+ más de 120 grados. Si aplica una fuerza excesiva producirá daños en la unidad.
No deje el Pitchclip 2+ conectado a su instrumento durante un largo período de tiempo. Si deja Pitch-
clip 2+ conectado durante largos períodos de tiempo, podría dañar el acabado de su instrumento.
Anación

Pulse el botón de encendido para encender la unidad. Presione el botón de encendido durante más
de un segundo para invertir verticalmente la pantalla

Toque una nota sola en su guitarra o bajo. La pantalla indicará el nombre de la nota que está más
cercana al tono que ha tocado.

Ane el instrumento reproduciendo una nota y comprobando el medidor. Las indicaciones de ana-
ción dieren en función del ajuste de la pantalla del medidor seleccionado (
Ajuste de la pantalla
del medidor).
4.
Para apagar la unidad, presione el botón de encendido. Si pasan aproximadamente tres minutos sin
que Pitchclip 2+ detecte sonido, la unidad se apagará automáticamente (Apagado automático).
Ajuste de la pantalla del medidor

Cada vez que pulse el botón DISPLAY/CALIB, cambiará el pantalla del medidor. Si no se pulsa el
botón durante dos segundos, el nuevo ajuste se guardará.

Medidor normal: Ane el instrumento, hasta que se ilumine el LED del centro de la pantalla del me-
didor. Los LED de la izquierda y la derecha parpadearán dos veces cuando la anación sea correcta

Cambio del tono de referencia
(calibración)
Pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón DISPLAY/CALIB para acceder al modo de calibración. Cada vez que
pulse el botón DISPLAY/CALIB, el tono de anación de referencia aumentará en incrementos de 1 Hz.

電池カバーをスライドさせて開けます。＋の極性を上にして電池を入れ、電池カバーを閉じ
ます。電池の残量が少なくなると音名表示が点滅し、LEDメーターがスムーズに動作しなく
なります。速やかに新しい電池と交換してください。
付属の電池は動作確認用のため、通常より寿命が短い場合があります。
楽器への取り付け

本機をギターやベースのヘッド部分に取り付けます。開く角度を調整し、ディスプレイを見
やすい位置にしてください。可動範囲は
Fig.4
をご覧ください。
可動範囲内であっても、過度な力で無理に向きを変えると破損する恐れがあります。
ヘッドに長時間取り付けたままにしないでください。ヘッドに取り付け跡が残る場合があ
ります。
チューニングする

電源ボタンを押して電源を入れます。電源ボタンを1秒以上押しながら電源を入れると、
ディスプレイが逆向きの表示になります
(Fig.5b)
。
2.
ギターやベースを単音で弾きます。ディスプレイには、認識した音に一番近い音名が表示さ
れます。合わせたい音名が表示されるように大まかにチューニングします。
3.
LEDメーターを見ながらチューニングを行います。メーター・ディスプレイによってチュー
ニングの表示が異なります（
メーター・ディスプレイの設定）
4.
電源を切るときは、電源ボタンを押します。電源が入ったまま、音を約3分間認識しなかっ
たときは、自動的に電源が切れます（オート・パワー・オフ）。
メーター・ディスプレイの設定

DISPLAY/CALIBボタンを押すたびに、メーター・ディスプレイが切り替わります。ボタン
操作を終えて約2秒で新しい設定が記憶されます。設定は電源を切っても記憶されます。

レギュラー：LEDメーターが中央を指すように、ギターやベースをチューニングします。
チューニングが合うと左右のLEDが2回点滅します

DISPLAY/CALIBボタンを押すたびに基準ピッチを1Hz単位で変更することができます。

Kalibrierungseinstellungen(Referenzton)
Halten Sie die DISPLAY/CALIB-Taste gedrückt, um den Kalibriermodus aufzurufen. Mit jedem Druck auf
die DISPLAY/CALIB-Taste wird die Referenztonhöhe um jeweils 1 Hz erhöht.

Falls die Taste nicht zwei Sekunden lang gedrückt wird, wird die neue Einstellung gespeichert und der
Pitchclip 2+ fährt in den Stimm-Modus zurück. Die Einstellungen bleiben nach dem Ausschalten des
Pitchclip 2+ erhalten.
Beim Auswechseln der Batterien werden die Einstellungen zurückgesetzt (Standard: 0. 440Hz).

Achage stroboscopique:
Accordez l’instrument jusqu’à ce que l’éclairage des diodes cesse de
se déplacer

. Comme l’affichage stroboscopique est d’une plus grande précision, il
permet d’obtenir un accordage plus n. Si la note est trop basse, l’éclairage des diodes se dé-
place de droite à gauche

et si la note est trop haute, il se déplace de gauche à droite
(Fig.7c)

Achage semi-stroboscopique:
L’ instrument est accordé quand le ux cesse et la diode cen-
trale est allumée

. Les diodes de la moitié gauche s’allument successivement si la note
est trop basse
(Fig.8a)
et celles de la moitié droite s’allument si la note est trop haute
(Fig.8c)
.
Les réglages sont initialisés quand vous remplacez la pile (Réglage par défaut: 1. Achage normal).
Réglages de calibrage
(diapason)
Maintenez le bouton DISPLAY/CALIB enfoncé pour activer le mode de calibrage. Chaque
pression sur le bouton DISPLAY/CALIB augmente la hauteur de référence par pas de 1Hz.

Quand vous cessez d’appuyer sur le bouton pendant 2 secondes, le dernier réglage est sau-
vegardé et le Pitchclip 2+ retourne en mode d’accordage. Les réglages sont conservés
même quand le Pitchclip 2+ est mis hors tension.
Les réglages sont initialisés quand vous remplacez la pile (Réglage par défaut: 0. 440Hz).
