MU-190/MU-231 (Tabletop Mount or Bracket Mount)
Replacement of Monitor Unit
The purpose of these instructions is to provide the procedures for the replacement of the
monitor unit MU-201C and MU-231C, which are fixed to a tabletop or a bracket, with the
monitor unit MU-190 or MU-231.
For the tabletop mount, the monitor unit is set on a connection stand, fixed to a bracket.
Replace MU-201C with MU-190
Use the optional monitor replacement kit OP26-23 for the replacement.

1. Attach the flush mounting
sponges H19 (supplied with this
kit) and V19 (on the monitor unit
MU-190) to the back of the
monitor unit MU-190 in the order
shown in the figure at right.
2. With the cutout down, attach the conversion attachment to the monitor unit MU-190 from
the rear with the binding head screws (M4x10, 8 pcs.).

3. Remove four cosmetic caps and hexagonal
head bolts (M6x25), and then remove the
monitor unit MU-201C from the bracket. Also,
disconnect the cables from the monitor unit
MU-201C.
The cosmetic caps and the hexagonal head
bolts can be discarded.
4. Remove the paper from the double-sided
tape on the spacer assembly and then
attach the spacer assembly to the
bracket.
5. Set cushioning material on the workbench. Place the monitor unit MU-190 on the
material, LCD side down and the connectors at the top.
Note: This step is not required for the bracket mount.
6. Connect all cables at the back of the monitor unit MU-190 (see section 1.8 “Wiring” in
OPERATOR’S MANUAL MU-190).
Remove the terminal board gear cover at the bottom rear of the monitor unit MU-190
and then connect the power cable with crimp-on lugs. After connecting the power cable,
reattach the terminal board gear cover.
7. Set the monitor unit MU-190 to the
bracket with the oval head screws
(6x20, 4 pcs.) and the rosette washers
(M6, 4 pcs.).

Replace MU-231C with MU-231
Use the optional monitor replacement kit OP26-27 for the replacement.

1. Attach the flush mounting panels to the monitor unit from the rear with the binding head
screws (8 pcs.).

Note 1: The shape of the flush mounting panel is different between right and left. The
left panel is marked "A"; the right panel is marked "B".
Note 2: To tighten screws, first tighten the top and bottom screws then tighten the
middle two screws.
Note 3: Attach the flush mounting panels to both sides of the monitor unit with no gap.
2. Remove four cosmetic caps and hexagonal
head bolts (M6x25), and then remove the
monitor unit MU-231C from the bracket.
Also, disconnect the cables from the
monitor unit MU-231C.
Note: The hexagonal head bolts (M6x25)
are used at step 6. The cosmetic caps can be discarded.
3. Remove the paper from the double-sided
tape on the spacer assembly and then
attach the spacer assembly to the
bracket.
4. Set cushioning material on the workbench. Place the monitor unit MU-231 on the
material, LCD side down and the connectors at the top.
Note: This step is not required for bracket mount.

5. Connect all cables at the back of the monitor unit MU-231 (see section 1.8 “Wiring” in
OPERATOR’S MANUAL MU-231).
Remove the terminal board gear cover at the bottom rear of the monitor unit MU-231
and then connect the power cable with crimp-on lugs. After connecting the power cable,
reattach the terminal board gear cover.
6. Set the monitor unit MU-231 to the bracket with the hexagonal head bolts (M6x25, 4
pcs.).
7. Attach the masking panels to each side of the monitor unit MU-231.

5. MU-231 取扱説明書の「1.8 結線」を参照して、表示部 MU-231 の背面に必要なケーブル
を接続します。
電源ケーブルは、表示部 MU-231 の背面下にある端子台保護カバーを外し、圧着端子を使っ
て接続します。接続後、再度端子台保護カバーを取り付けます。
6. 六角ボルト (M6x25、4 本) を使って、表示部 MU-231 をハンガーに取り付けます。
7. 表示部 MU-231 左右のネジ部に、化粧パネル S を取り付けます。

MU231C を MU-231 に取り替える
取替え作業には、オプションの換装キット OP26-27 が必要です。

1. 表示部 MU-231 背面からバインド小ネジ (M4x10、8 本) を使って、左に F マウントパネ

注1) F マウントパネル組品は左右で異なります。左には A、右には B と書いてあるも
のを使用してください。
注2) ネジを留めるとき、まず一番上と下を留めてから、中の 2 つを留めてください。
注3) F マウントパネル組品は、表示部 MU-231 側面にすき間なく押し当ててから取り
付けてください。
2. 4 個のパネルカバーと六角ボルト (M6x25)
を外して、表示部 MU-231C をハンガーから
取り外します。また、接続されているケー
ブルも取り外します。
注）取り外した六角ボルトは、手順 6 で使
用します。パネルカバーは使用しませ
ん。
3. スペーサ組品の両面テープの剥離紙をはがして、ハ
ンガーに貼り付けます。
スペーサの貼付け箇所は、表示部 MU-231 を取り付ける
ネジ穴部分です。右図を参照してください。
4. 操作卓の上にクッション材を置いて、その上に表示部 MU-231 (LCD 部を下向き、コネク
タ部を奥側) を置きます。
注）ハンガー装備では、この作業は行いません。

3. 4 個のパネルカバーと六角ボルト (M6x25)
を外して、表示部 MU-201C をハンガーから
取り外します。また、接続されているケー
ブルも取り外します。
取り外したパネルカバーと六角ボルトは使用
しません。
4. スペーサ組品の両面テープの剥離紙をはがして、ハ
ンガーに貼り付けます。
スペーサの貼付け箇所は、表示部 MU-190 を取り付ける
ネジ穴部分です。右図を参照してください。
5. 操作卓の上にクッション材を置いて、その上に表示部 MU-190 (LCD 部を下向き、コネク
タ部を奥側) を置きます。
注）ハンガー装備では、この作業は行いません。
6. MU-190 取扱説明書の「1.8 結線」を参照して、表示部 MU-190 の背面に必要なケーブル
を接続します。
電源ケーブルは、表示部 MU-190 の背面下にある端子台保護カバーを外し、圧着端子を使っ
て接続します。接続後、再度端子台保護カバーを取り付けます。
7. 丸皿小ネジ (6x20、4 本) とローゼット座
金 (M6、4 個) を使って、表示部 MU-190
をハンガーに取り付けます。

MU-190/MU-231（ハンガーおよび卓上装備）
表示部交換要領書
ハンガーおよび卓上装備されている表示部 MU-201C または MU-231C を、表示部 MU-190 または
MU-231 に取り替える手順について説明します。
卓上装備は、ハンガー装備した表示部を連結台の上に置くので、本書では卓上装備について説明
します。
MU201C を MU-190 に取り替える
取替え作業には、オプションの換装キット OP26-23 が必要です。

1. 表示部 MU-190 背面の上下つばに F マ
ウントスポンジ H19 (厚さ 2mm)、およ
び左右つばに F マウントスポンジ V19
(厚さ 2mm、表示部 MU-190 に付属) を
貼り付けます。
スポンジは、右図の 1～4 の順に貼り付
けてください。
2. 表示部 MU-190 背面から、バインド小ネジ (M4x10、8 本) を使って、換装アッタチメン
トを取り付けます。
換装アタッチメントは、切り欠き部分が表示部の下側になるように取り付けてください。
