2. Name and Function of Each Part
POWER lamp
Lights green when the power is on.
Reference point lamp
Once the reference point signal of the encoder is detected, the
lamp lights yellow (solid).
Encoder alarm lamp
is lamp lights red when the measuring unit connected to the
counter module is in alarm status.
Latch alarm lamp
is lamp lights red when the latch module is in alarm status.
Reset button
If an alarm has occurred in the latch module during operation
check or test operation, this button can be used to directly
perform initialization (reset) on the respective latch module
without inputting a communication command or external
signal.
Note
is reset is performed only for individual latch modules.  e
main module is not reset.
Encoder connector
is connects the encoder that latches the data.
Note
Connecting the wrong encoder can cause a breakdown.
Module connector
is connects the counter modules.
Note
Always connect the latch module next to the main module.

Note
Do not connect anything to blank pins.

When using an encoder without a reference point, do not connect Z and
Z.
e +5 V supply current is MAX 500 mA.
Be careful not to connect the power supply in reverse. Reverse connection
may damage this product and the connected encoder.
ree pins are provided for each of +5 V and 0 V, but it is not necessary
to use all of the pins.
e connector metal part and the connector case are connected to FG
and separated from 0 V.
Connect the shielded wires of the encoder cable to the connector case.
