1. eGFX Breakaway Box (以降の呼称を「ボックス」としま
す)を梱包から取り
出 し 、作 業 台 の 上 に 置 き ま す 。
2. トップカバーと内部アセンブリを固定する3箇所のつま
み ねじを外して
おきます (図1)。
3. トップカバーの背面の端側を若干持ち上げながら、手前
側に向かって止まるところまでスライドさせます
(図2)。
4. カ バ ー を 真 っ 直 ぐ 持 ち 上 げ 、別 に 置 い て お き ま す (図2)。
5. PCIeカード 用ブラケット固定板を固定している2箇所の
ねじを外しておきま す
(図3)。
6. PCIeカードブラケット用の固定板のつまみねじを外し、
ポ ートアクセ ス カ バ ー を 外しま す
(図3)。

7. G P U カードを梱 包 から 取り出しま す。
8. ご使用になるPCIeカードを内部アセンブリの上部と側面
に 沿 って 、カ ー ド の サ イ ズ に 合 わ せ て 装 着 し ま す
(図4)。
例えば、内部アセンブリにカードを装着するために、
場合によってはメインのファンを外す必要があります。
9. PCIeスロットのカードコネクタに沿って、カードを
丁 寧 且 つ し っ か り 押 し 、ス ロ ット に 対 し て 真 っ 直ぐ 装 着
します (図5)。

電源補助用パワーコネクタをカードに接続します。
警告：
コンピュータ製品を取り扱う際は、部品が静電
気の影響を被らないよう注意し、カーペット敷の場所
での作業はお避けください。PCIeカードは端を持ち、
コネクタトレースやピンに触れないようにしてください。同様に
ボックス本体の回路版やコンポーネントにも触れないようご注意
ください。

12. 図のように、インナーアセンブリのブラケット上部の上方
向よりトップカバーを下げてゆき、最後の止まるところま
で カ バ ー を ス ラ イド して い き ま す（ 図 7 ）。
13. トップカバーと内部アセンブリを先に外しておいた3本
のつまみねじで固定します
(図8)。
14. 付属のThunderboltケーブルあるいは同等の
Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps)ケーブルを使ってBox の
Thunderbolt 3ポートとコンピュータのThunderbolt 3
ポートに接続します。USBアイコン (
) のついたケー
ブルとは互換性がありませんのでご注意ください。
15. 付 属 のパワーコード で 壁コンセントや 電 源タップボック
スの電源ソケットを接続します。電源をON 状態にしま
す。パワースイッチ搭載の場合は、ONの位置に入れてく
ださい。この時、ボックスのパワーインジケータはコンピ
ュータの電源が入らないと点灯しない点にご注意くださ
い。
16. GPUカードをご自身でインストールされる場合、外付け
GPU (eGPU)の互換性状況が頻繁に更新される事情か
ら、Sonnetウェブサイトへアクセスし最新情報や本書に
含まれて いない 追 加の取 扱 説 明 書 をダウンロードする
