Precautions

Location

Using the unit in the following locations can result in a malfunction.

Power supply

Be sure to turn the power switch to OFF when the unit is not in use.

Remove the battery in order to prevent it from leaking when the unit is

interference. Operate this unit at a suitable distance from radios and

Handling

To avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the switches or

Care

The new seing will blink three times in the note name display indicat-

ing the calibration has been set. The GA Custom will automatically

turn to tuner mode.

The calibration seing will be remembered even if the power is turned o. How-

ever, this seing will be reset to the factory default if the baeries are removed.

Setting the display mode

The GA Custom allows you to choose one of three display mode seings.

The factory seing is Regular mode.

1. PresstheDISPLAYbuon.

The current seing will blink for several seconds in the note display

(Light → Blink).

2.When the seingisshown inthenotename display,press the

Displaybuonagaintosetthedisplaymode.

Each time you press the DISPLAY buon you will cycle through the

following seings.

1: Regular

Tune your instrument until the green LED in the LED meter is lit. The

blue LEDs at the right will light up if the pitch is high, and the blue

LEDs at the boom will light left if the pitch is low.

The pitch is sharp.In tune.The pitch is flat.

2: Strobe

Tune your instrument until the LEDs stop running. Since the strobe

meter has higher precision, it allows you to tune with greater accuracy.

The illumination will ow from left to right if the pitch is high, or from

right to left if the pitch is low.

The pitch is sharp.In tune.The pitch is flat.

3: Half-strobe

Tune your instrument until the LEDs stop running and only the green

LED is lit. The blue LEDs at the right will strobe if the pitch is high,

and the blue LEDs at the left will strobe if the pitch is low. When the

pitch is in tune, only the green LED is lit.

3. Afteryou’vechosenthedisplaymodeyouwouldliketouse,wait

Installing the batteries

Make sure to turn the power o before you install or replace the baeries.

When the baeries are almost depleted, the green LED in the tuning

LED meter will blink. When this happens, install new baeries as soon

as possible to ensure accurate tuning

Preparation

Connect the instrument to be tuned to the INPUT jack, and connect the

eect pedal, amp, etc., to the OUTPUT jack.

Turn o the power of all devices before you make any connections to avoid

damaging your equipment.

The INPUT and OUTPUT jacks are mono. Stereo (TRS) cables will not work.

When using the internal mic for tuning, make sure nothing is connected

to the INPUT and OUTPUT jacks. The internal mic cannot be used when

a device is connected.

Tuning

1. Pressthepowerbuon.Thepowerwillturnon/oeachtimeyou

pressthisbuon.

The calibration seing will appear in the note name display for a few

seconds (light → blinking).

In addition, the green LED in the tuning LED meter will light up.

If the power is left on for approximately 3 minutes without any user

input, it will turn o automatically.

2. Ifdesired,adjustthecalibrationand/orselectthedisplaymode.

3. Playasinglenoteonyourinstrumentandtuneitsothatthedesired

noteappearsinthenotenamedisplay.

The note name closest to the entered note appears in the note name

display.

4. TuneyourinstrumentusingthetuningLEDmeter.

The method for indicating whether your instrument is in tune, sharp

or at depends on which display mode you choose.

Even if the pitch is within the range of detection, it may not be possible to detect

the pitch of an instrumental sound that contains large numbers of overtones

or a sound that has a rapid decay.

Adjusting the calibration

The GA Custom comes from the factory with the calibration set to

A=440Hz. If an adjustment is necessary, you can do so within a range

of 436–445Hz.

1. PresstheCALIBbuon.

The current calibration seing will blink for several seconds in the

note namedisplay (Light → Blink).

2. Whilethecurrentcalibrationseingisshowninthenotename

display,presstheCALIBbuonagaintoadjusttheseing.

Each time you press the CALIB buon you will cycle through the

2. 次の修理等は保証期間内であっても有償修理となります。

・消耗部品（電池など）の交換。・お取扱い方法が不適当のために生じた故障。

・天災（火災、浸水等）によって生じた故障。

・故障の原因が本製品以外の他の機器にある場合。

・不当な改造、調整、部品交換などにより生じた故障または損傷。

・保証書にお買い上げ日、販売店名が未記入の場合、または字句が書き替えら

れている場合。

Coupez toujours l’alimentation avant de changer les piles.

Quand les piles sont presque plates, la diode verte de l’indicateur à diodes

se met à clignoter. Dans ce cas, remplacez les piles aussitôt que possible

par un jeu neuf an de garantir un accordage précis.

Raccordez l’instrument à accorder à la prise INPUT et votre pédale d’eet,

pédalier, ampli, etc. à la prise OUTPUT.

Meez tous les appareils hors tension avant d’eectuer les raccordements

pour éviter d’endommager votre matériel

Les prises INPUT et OUTPUT sont monophoniques. Les câbles stéréo (TRS)

ne fonctionneront pas.

Pour pouvoir accorder votre instrument avec le microphone interne, il

faut qu’aucun câble ne soit relié aux prises INPUT et OUTPUT. Le micro-

phone interne est désactivé quand vous branchez un câble à l’accordeur.

Accordage

1. Appuyezsurl’interrupteur d’alimentation.L’appareil semera

sous/horstensionàchaquepressionsurl’interrupteur.

Le réglage de calibrage s’ache pendant plusieurs secondes dans

l’achage de la note (s’allume → clignote). En outre, la diode verte

de l’indicateur à diodes s’allume.

Si vous laissez l’appareil allumé pendant environ 3 minutes sans

capter aucun son, il s’éteindra automatiquement.

2 Vouspouvez,sivouslesouhaitez,réglerlecalibrageet/ouchoisir

3 Jouezunenotesimplesurvotreinstrumentetaccordez-ledesorte

quelenomdelanotesouhaitéeapparaissedansl’achagedela

note.

Le nom de la note la plus proche de la hauteur détectée apparaît dans

l’achage de la note.

4 Accordezvotreinstrumentàl’aidedel’indicateuràdiodes.

Vorbereitung

Schließen Sie das Instrument, das Sie stimmen wollen, an die INPUT-Buchse

an und verbinden Sie die OUTPUT-Buchse mit einem Eektpedal, Amp usw.

Schalten Sie vor dem Herstellen irgendwelcher Verbindungen alle Geräte aus, um

Geräteschäden zu vermeiden.

INPUT und OUTPUT sind als Mono-Buchsen ausgeführt. Stereokabel (TRS)

Tuning

Wie das Stimmgerät die aktuelle Stimmung und Abweichungen von der

Solltonhöhe anzeigt, hängt vom gewählten Anzeigemodus ab.

Auch wenn die Tonhöhe innerhalb des Erkennungsbereichs ist, kann es unmöglich

sein, die Tonhöhe eines Instrumentenklangs zu erkennen, wenn dieser einen hohen

Anteil an Obertönen oder sehr schnelles Abklingen aufweist.

Einstellen der Kalibrierung

Das GA Custom wurde werkseitig auf die Kalibrierung A=440Hz vorein-

gestellt. Falls erforderlich, kann die Kalibrierung im Bereich von 436 bis 445

Hz g

eändert werden.

Die Kalibrierungseinstellung bleibt auch beim Ausschalten gespeichert. Diese

Einstellung wird jedoch auf die werkseitige Standardeinstellung rückgeset, wenn

Auswählen eines Anzeigemodus

Sie können beim GA Custom zwischen drei Anzeigemodi wählen.

Die werkseitige Einstellung ist Normale-Modus.

leuchtet allein die grüne LED.

ングします。ピッチが高いときは右側の青のLEDが、低いときは

左側の青のLEDが点灯します。

2：ストロボ

LEDメーターの点灯の流れが止まるように楽器をチューニングし

ます。精度が高いので、より正確なチューニングが可能です。LED

メーターの点灯は、ピッチが高いときは左から右へ、低いときは右

から左へ流れます。

3：ハーフ・ストロボ

LEDメーターの点灯の流れが止まり、緑のLEDだけが点灯するよ

うに楽器をチューニングします。ピッチが高いときは右側の青の

LEDで、低いときは左側の青のLEDでストロボを表示します。ピッ

チが合うと、緑のLEDだけが点灯します。

3. 設定し終えたら、ボタンを操作せずに2秒程度待ちます。

電池の入れ方

電池を入れるときや交換するときは、本機の電源を切って行ってく

ださい。付属の電池は動作確認用ですので、寿命の短い場合があり

ます。

電池が消耗してくると、LEDメーターの緑のLEDが点滅します。し

ばらくの間は動作しますが、チューニングが正確にできなくなりま

す。速やかに新しい電池と交換してください。

1. 本体裏面の電池カバーを開けます。

2. 極性に注意して電池を入れます。

3. 電池カバーを元に戻します。

準備

INPUT端子にチューニングする楽器を、OUTPUT端子にはエフェク

ト・ペダルやアンプなどを接続します。

接続するときは、各機器の電源をオフにしてください。

INPUT、OUTPUTの各端子はモノラル専用です。ステレオのケー

ブルは使用できません。

チューニングに内蔵マイクを使用する場合は、INPUT端子、および

OUTPUT端子にプラグを接続しないでください。接続している場合

は内蔵マイクが使用できません。

チューニング

1. 電源ボタンを押します。押すたびに電源が入る、切れるを繰り返し

ます。

キャリブレーションの設定が音名表示に数秒間表示されます（点

灯→点滅）。またLEDメーターの緑のLEDが点灯します。

電源が入ったまま音の入力がない状態が約3分間続くと、自動的に

電源が切れます。

必要に応じてキャリブレーションとディスプレイ・モードを設定し

ます。

3. 楽器を単音で弾きながら、合わせたい音名が音名表示に表示され

るように、おおまかにチューニングします。

音名表示には、入力した音に一番近い音名が表示されます。

4. LEDメーターで、楽器を正確にチューニングします。

ディスプレイ・モードの設定によって、ピッチのズレを表示する方

法が異なります。

測定範囲内の音程でも、倍音を多く含んだ楽器音や減衰の早い楽

器音については、測定できない場合があります。

キャリブレーション(基準ピッチ)の設定

キャリブレーション（チューニングするための基準ピッチ、ピアノ中

央のラの音＝A4）を436～ 445Hzの範囲で設定します。工場出荷時

は0：440Hzに設定されています。

1. CALIBボタンを押します。

現在の設定が音名表示に数秒間表示されます（点灯→点滅）。

2. 設定が表示されている間にCALIBボタンを押して、キャリブレー

Preparación

Conecta el instrumento que se va a anar en el jack INPUT y conecta el

pedal de efectos, amplicador, etc. al jack OUTPUT.

Apaga todos los dispositivos antes de conectarlos para evitar dañar tu equipo.

Los conectores INPUT y OUTPUT son mono. No funcionarán con cables estéreo

(TRS).

Cuando utilices el micrófono interno para realizar la anación, asegúrate

de que no hay nada conectado a los jacks INPUT y OUTPUT. El micrófono

interno no se puede utilizar cuando hay un dispositivo conectado.

El nombre de nota más cercano a la nota introducida aparece en la pantalla

de nombre de nota.

4 AnatuinstrumentousandoelmedidordeanaciónLED.

El método para indicar si tu instrumento está en tono, sostenido o bemol,

depende del modo de visualización que elijas.

Aunque el tono esté dentro del rango de detección, puede que no sea posible

detectar el tono de un sonido que contenga gran cantidad de armónicos o que

tenga una rápida caída.

Ajustar la calibración

El GA Custom viene de fábrica con una calibración de A=440Hz. Si es

necesario puedes ajustarlo dentro del rango de 436–445 Hz.

erecha si el tono es alto, o de derecha a izquierda si el tono es bajo.

3:Semi-estroboscópico

Ana tu instrumento hasta que los LED dejen de operar y solo quede

iluminado el LED verde. Los LED azules de la derecha emitirán una

luz estroboscópica si el tono es alto, y los LED azules de la izquierda

emitirán una luz estroboscópica si el tono es bajo. Cuando el tono esté

anado, solo se iluminará el LED verde.
