INTRODUCTION

Parrot DRIVER HEADSET/Parrot MOBILE HEADSET

The Parrot DRIVER HEADSET/Parrot MOBILE HEADSET is a wireless headset

that has been specially designed for drivers and nomad people confronted

with the poor battery life offered by the models currently available on the

market.

Note: the headset’s features depend on your phone. Refer to the «Sup--

port» heading on the www.parrot.biz website for further information.

KIT CONTENTS

The kit contains:

• A headset and two ear inserts.

• A cradle for recharging the headset directly via your vehicle’s cigar-

lighter or 12V accessory plug.

• A user guide.

• A Parrot product guide.

USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Charging the headset

• Turn your vehicle’s ignition on.

• Plug the headset and cradle into the cigar lighter or 12V accessory

plug.

• The red LED lights up during recharging.

• To remove the headset from the cradle, press the protruding part

of the headset.

Note: slide the headset into the cradle until you hear a click.

Switching the device on/off

• Hold down the «Power» button for three seconds.

• The blue LED lights up for three seconds. The headset switches on.

• Hold down the «Power» button for three seconds.

• The red LED lights up for one second and then the headset swit

ches off.

Pairing a phone

• The headset must be switched off.

• Hold down the «Power» button for four seconds.

• The LED ﬂashes alternately blue and red.

• The headset is visible to all Bluetooth devices for three minutes.

• From your Bluetooth phone, search for Bluetooth peripherals

(consult your phone’s user guide or refer to the «Support» heading

on the www.parrot.biz website).

• Select «Parrot Headset».

• Enter «0000» on your phone when prompted.

• Once connected to your Bluetooth phone, the LED ﬂashes slowly

blue.

Your headset is now set up and ready to be used.

Note: if you are unable to ﬁnd the headset with your phone, the headset

might be invisible to Bluetooth devices. If so, switch the headset off and

then hold down the «Power» button for four seconds. The LED ﬂashes

alternately blue and red. The Parrot DRIVER HEADSET/Parrot MOBILE

HEADSET is now detectable.

FEATURES

Making a call from your phone

• Both devices must be connected (the blue LED ﬂashes slowly).

• Dial the required number directly on your phone’s keypad.

• The call is automatically transferred to the headset and continues

until you hang up using the «Power» button or by replacing the

headset in its cradle.

Making a call with your phone’s voice recognition fea-

ture

• When both devices are connected, brieﬂy press the «Power»

button.

• You will hear a beep and your phone will prompt you to say the

name of the person that you want to call.

Adjusting the volume during calls

• During calls, you can adjust the volume using the «Vol +» and

«Vol -» buttons.

Answering a call

There are two ways to answer a call:

• If the headset is not in its cradle, the incoming call is indicated by

the blue LED ﬂashing on top of the headset and a beep is sounded. Press

the «Power» button to answer the call.

Bip

• The headset is being recharged in its cradle. A ringtone is sounded

by the cradle to indicate an incoming call. Remove the headset from its

cradle to automatically answer the call.

Ending a call

• Press the «Power» button or replace the headset in its cradle to

automatically end the call.

Redialling the last number

• Hold down the «Vol +» button for two seconds to call back the last

number.

Le Parrot DRIVER HEADSET/Parrot MOBILE HEADSET est une oreillette sans ﬁl

spécialement étudiée pour tous les automobilistes et les personnes nomades

attachés au concept de l’oreillette mais qui sont confrontés à la très faible

autonomie de la plupart des modèles existants.

Note : Les fonctionnalités de l’oreillette dépendent ce votre téléphone por--

CONTENU DE L’EMBALLAGE

L’emballage contient :

• Une oreillette et deux inserts auditifs.

• Un support pour recharger l’oreillette directement sur l’allume-ci-

PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

Charge de l’oreillette

• Mettez le contact sur votre véhicule.

• Insérez l’ensemble oreillette et support dans l’allume cigare ou un

adaptateur secteur 12V.

• La LED rouge est allumée pendant la charge.

• Pour enlever l’oreillette de son support, appuyez sur la partie de

l’oreillette qui dépasse.

Note : Insérez l’oreillette dans le support jusqu’à entendre un clic.

Jumeler un téléphone

• L’appareil doit être hors-tension.

• Appuyez 4 secondes sur le bouton « Power ».

• La LED clignote alternativement bleue et rouge.

• L’oreillette est visible par Bluetooth pendant 3 minutes.

• Depuis votre téléphone Bluetooth, lancez une recherche de périphé

riques Bluetooth (référez-vous à la notice de votre téléphone ou

connectez vous sur www.parrot.biz, rubrique Support).

• Sélectionnez « Parrot Headset »

• Entrez « 0000 » sur votre téléphone lorsque celui-ci vous y invite.

• Une fois connectée à votre téléphone Bluetooth, la LED clignote

lentement en bleu.

Votre oreillette est maintenant conﬁgurée et prête à être utilisée.

Note : si vous n’arrivez pas à trouver l’oreillette avec votre téléphone,

l’oreillette est peut-être non visible par Bluetooth. Dans ce cas, éteignez-là,

puis appuyez 4 secondes sur « Power ». La LED doit clignoter alternativement

bleu puis rouge. Le Parrot DRIVER HEADSET/Parrot MOBILE HEADSET est

alors découvrable.

FONCTIONS

Le Parrot DRIVER HEADSET/Parrot MOBILE HEADSET offre les fonctionnali--

tés ci-dessous :

Passer un appel depuis votre téléphone

• Les deux appareils doivent être connectés (la LED bleu clignote

lentement).

• Numérotez directement le numéro de votre correspondant sur le

clavier de votre téléphone.

• L’appel passe automatiquement sur l’oreillette, la communication se

poursuit jusqu’à ce que vous raccrochiez avec le bouton « Power » ou que

vous replaciez l’oreillette dans le chargeur.

Passer un appel avec la reconnaissance vocale de votre

téléphone

• Lorsque les deux appareils sont connectés, appuyez brièvement sur

le bouton « Power ».

• Vous entendrez alors un « bip », votre téléphone vous demande

alors de prononcer le nom de la personne à appeler.

Réglage du volume en communication

• Pendant vos communications, vous pouvez ajuster le volume à l’aide

des deux boutons « Vol + » et « Vol - ».

Décrocher un appel

Deux cas se présentent :

• Si l’oreillette n’est pas dans son support, l’appel entrant est indiqué

par la LED bleu qui clignote sur le dessus de l’oreillette et un « bip ». Ap--

puyez sur le bouton « Power » pour décrocher.

• L’oreillette est en charge dans son support. Un appel entrant est

indiqué par un bip actif sur le chargeur. Retirer l’oreillette de son support

pour décrocher l’appel (décrochage automatique).

Raccrocher un appel

• Appuyez sur le bouton « Power » ou insérez l’oreillette dans son

support pour raccrocher l’appel (raccrochage automatique).

Rappel du dernier numéro (bis)

• Appuyez sur le bouton « Vol + » pendant 2 secondes pour rappe--

ler le dernier correspondant.
