Climbing Helmet INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on purchasing the Halo helmet! The Halo helmet (the “Product”)
is designed for rock and ice climbing and mountaineering use only. ROCK AND
ICE CLIMBING AND MOUNTAINEERING (the “Activities”) ARE INHERENTLY
DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES THAT CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
WARNING!! Before using the Product, you must: (1) read, fully understand, and
comply with all of the following instructions all times, (2) obtain competent training
in the proper tting and use of the Product, (3) understand the limitations and
capabilities of the Product, and (4) understand and accept the risks involved in using
the Product and engaging in the Activities
You must obtain competent training and experience to minimize the objective and
subjective risks of the Activities and mountain terrain. These instructions are not
a substitute for your own knowledge, experience, and good judgment, and these
instructions are NOT MEANT TO TEACH YOU HOW TO CLIMB, RAPPEL OR
BELAY. Modifying, damaging, or removing any original parts from the Product will
make this Product unsafe and void the limited warranty. Please understand that
even if you use the Product according to these instructions you are not safe
from risks inherent in the Activities, including serious or fatal injury!
YOU ARE PERSONALLY AND SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR USING THIS

Minors, and any other persons who are not legally able to assume this responsibility
and/or assume the risks of using this Product and engage in climbing activities must

INSPECTION BEFORE EACH USE Inspect all parts of the Halo helmet before
every use for any signs of damage or wear. This includes inspecting the exterior
Shell, interior, headband attachment, webbing, stitching, adjustment system, and
buckles. Immediately stop all further use of the Halo helmet and replace if you
observe any signs of damage or deformation to the helmet.
REPLACE YOUR HALO HELMET IMMEDIATELY IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING
EVENTS OCCUR:
• The helmet is impacted in any way, including during a fall, crushed, dropped
while in pack, struck by an object (e.g., rocks, ice, gear, etc.).
• The helmet or its parts were exposed to or in contact with chemicals or
extreme temperatures.
• The helmet surface is uneven, deformed, has bumps, dents, divots,
deep scratches, abrasions, cracks, and/or shows signs of degradation or
excessive wear.
• Straps, buckles, headband, and/or cushioning are worn, frayed, cut, and/
or otherwise damaged.
• The helmet is soiled beyond cleaning.
Remember that the Halo helmet is designed to absorb energy in the event of an
impact. Deformation of the helmet Shell material upon impact is the main source of
energy absorption. Any helmet that has been impacted should be replaced even if
damage is not visibly apparent. In addition to inspecting the helmet before each use,
inspect the helmet immediately whenever you suspect damage during use.
DURING EACH USE Make sure that the Halo helmet is always properly tted and
securely buckled to your head.
USING YOUR HELMET Prior to each use of the helmet, you must ensure a
proper t. The helmet should be centered and tted snuggly on the user’s head, with
minimal front to back and/or side to side movement.
Fitting steps
-Figure 3: Loosen the headband by pulling the two Head Band Adjuster tabs apart.
-Figure 4 and Figure 4a: Adjust size via the Head Band Adjuster to provide a snug
t for the shape of your head. When adjusted to the correct size for your head, the
helmet should t rmly and comfortably with minimal movement.
-Figure 5: Adjust the Chin Strap and make sure that the buckle is securely fastened.
-Figure 6: While wearing the helmet, tighten the Head Band by pulling on the two
straps as illustrated.
WARNING! If the helmet is not tted properly, it will not protect the user. The helmet
t should be checked prior to every use, especially if there are any differences in
layering under the helmet, e.g., wearing a hat or hood. If you cannot adjust the
helmet to properly t your head as described in these instructions, DO NOT use
the helmet.
TRANSPORT Be careful when packing, transporting, and/or storing your helmet not
to pack it too tightly or place the helmet next to metal equipment which could crush,
impact or otherwise damage the Shell. Place the Chin Strap inside the helmet so it
does not catch on other equipment and result in damage.
STORAGE Always store the Product in a dry and cool environment, protected from
UV-radiation, chemicals, heat, cold, and mechanical damage. Always make sure
that the Product is stored so that it is protected from (1) extreme heat (i.e., above
30C/86F) and/or cold (i.e., below -10C/14F); (2) exposure to the elements, such as
sun, snow, salt water, and rain; and (3) exposure to any chemicals, including, but
not limited to, any adhesives, paints, solvents, acids, and other reactive chemicals.
Exposure to any of the foregoing conditions and chemicals can damage the Product
and signicantly weaken the Product’s energy absorbing and protective properties. In
addition, the damage caused by such exposure is often not visible, therefore, replace
the Product immediately if exposed to any of the foregoing conditions and chemicals.
CLEANING If your Product needs to be cleaned, ONLY USE warm water (max.
30C/86F) and neutral soap or a small amount of mild detergent, if needed, then
rinse with warm water and dry in the shade until totally dry. If the Product has been
exposed to salt water, rinse with warm water. Do not dry in a dryer, near a radiator, or
other heat source. Halogen and alcohol-free disinfectants may be used if needed. Do
not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning methods.
MODIFICATIONS and REPAIRS All modications and repairs outside of Trango
facilities are prohibited and void the limited warranty.
SERVICE LIFE The maximum lifespan of a helmet that has been used, transported
and stored properly as described in these instructions, and has not been damaged, is
ve (5) years after the date of manufacture, which can be found on the sticker inside
the helmet. If the helmet is impacted, damaged or exposed to conditions and/or
chemicals as described above in the Storage section, retire the helmet immediately.
A single instance of impact, damage or exposure could require the helmet to be
retired after a single use. If you have any doubt about the integrity or safety of your
helmet after inspection or use, RETIRE IT!
PRODUCT LABELING The following information is attached to each Halo helmet
when sold: the type of equipment, i.e., “helmet for mountaineers”; the manufacturer
and model name, i.e., Trango, Halo; the year and date of manufacture; the size
range; batch number; and certication, i.e., EN 12492:20
PRODUCT CERTIFICATION The Halo helmet is a helmet is designed for rock
and ice climbing and mountaineering use only. It conforms to standard EN 12492:20
and has been tested ITS Testing Services UK LTD, Center Court, Meridian Business
Park, Leicester, LE19 1WD, United Kingdom, NB 0362
LIMITED WARRANTY The Halo helmet is covered by a three (3) year limited
warranty from the original date of purchase for the original owner. This limited
warranty only covers defects in materials and manufacturing. DAMAGE THAT IS
DUE TO NORMAL USE AND WEAR; IMPROPER USE, MAINTENANCE, AND/OR
STORAGE; AND/OR ABUSE OR MISUSE, IS EXPLICITLY EXCLUDED FROM THIS
LIMITED WARRANTY.

PRÜFUNG VOR JEDEM EINSATZ Prüfen Sie alle Teile des Halo Helms
vor jedem Einsatz auf Anzeichen von Beschädigungen oder Verschleiß. Dazu
gehören die Prüfung der Innen- und Außenschale, Kopfbandbefestigung, Gurtband,
Nähte, Verstellvorrichtung und Schnallen. Wenn Sie irgendwelche Anzeichen von
Beschädigungen oder Verformungen am Halo Helm beobachten, stellen Sie die
weitere Verwendung des Helms unverzüglich ein und sorgen Sie für Ersatz.
ERSETZEN SIE IHREN HALO HELM UNVERZÜGLICH, WENN EINES DER
NACHFOLGENDEN EREIGNISSE EINTRITT:
• Der Helm in irgendeiner Weise beschädigt wird, auch bei einem Sturz,
wenn er in der Verpackung gequetscht, fallen gelassen oder durch einen
Gegenstand (z. B. Steine, Eis, Ausrüstung usw.) getroffen wird.
• Der Helm oder Teile davon Chemikalien oder extremen Temperaturen
ausgesetzt bzw. damit in Kontakt war.
• Die Helmoberäche uneben oder deformiert ist, Unebenheiten, Dellen,
Hohlräume, tiefe Kratzer, Abschürfungen, Risse hat und/oder wenn
Anzeichen einer Verschlechterung oder übermäßiger Verschleiß auftreten.
• Riemen, Schnallen, Kopfband und/oder Polstermaterial verschlissen,
ausgefranst, zerschnitten und/oder auf sonstige Weise beschädigt sind.
• Der Helm nach der Reinigung verschmutzt ist.
Bedenken Sie, dass der Halo Helm im Falle eines Aufpralls Energie absorbieren
soll. Verformungen des Schalenmaterials am Helm bei einem Aufprall stellen die
Hauptquelle der Energieabsorption dar. Jeder Helm, der einen Aufprall erlitten hat,
sollte ersetzt werden, auch wenn der Schaden nicht deutlich sichtbar ist. Zusätzlich
zur Prüfung des Helms vor jedem Einsatz muss der Helm unverzüglich untersucht
werden, wenn Sie eine Beschädigung während des Gebrauchs vermuten.
BEI JEDEM EINSATZ Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Halo Helm immer richtig sitzt
und sicher am Kopf befestigt ist.
VERWENDUNG IHRES HELMS Vor jedem Einsatz des Helms müssen Sie
sicherstellen, dass er korrekt sitzt. Der Helm sollte nicht zu eng anliegend auf dem
Kopf des Benutzers zentriert und befestigt werden, wobei er minimal vorne und/oder
seitlich auf die Bewegungen des Benutzers ausgerichtet ist.
Montageschritte:
-Abbildung 3: Lösen Sie das Kopfband, indem Sie die beiden Laschen der
Kopfband-Verstellvorrichtung auseinander ziehen.
-Abbildung 4: und Abbildung 4a: Passen Sie die Größe über die Kopfband-
Verstellvorrichtung an, um die Form Ihres Kopfes genau anzupassen. Wenn Sie auf
die richtige Größe für Ihren Kopf angepasst werden, sollte der Helm fest und bequem
mit minimaler Bewegung passen.
-Abbildung 5: Stellen Sie den Kinnriemen ein und stellen Sie sicher, dass die
Schnalle sicher befestigt ist.
-Abbildung 6: Beim Tragen des Helms das Kopfband festziehen, indem Sie die
beiden Riemen wie abgebildet anziehen.
WARNUNG! Wenn der Helm nicht richtig angebracht ist, schützt er den Benutzer
nicht. Die Helmpassform sollte vor jedem Einsatz überprüft werden, insbesondere
wenn es Unterschiede bei den Schichten unter dem Helm gibt, z. B. Tragen einer
Mütze oder Kapuze. Wenn Sie den Helm nicht einstellen können, um den Kopf
entsprechend den Anweisungen anzupassen, verwenden Sie den Helm NICHT.
TRANSPORT Wenn Sie Ihren Helm verpacken, transportieren und/oder
verstauen, achten Sie darauf, ihn nicht zu fest zu verpacken, oder ihn neben
Metallausrüstungen zu platzieren, die die Schale eindrücken, beeinträchtigen oder
anderweitig beschädigen könnten. Legen Sie den Kinnriemen in den Helm, damit er
sich nicht in anderen Ausrüstungen verfängt und zu Schäden führt.
AUFBEWAHRUNG Bewahren Sie das Produkt stets in einer trockenen und
kühlen Umgebung auf, geschützt vor UV-Strahlung, Chemikalien, Hitze, Kälte und
mechanischen Beschädigungen. Stellen Sie immer sicher, dass das Produkt so
aufbewahrt wird, dass es geschützt ist vor (1) extremer Hitze (d. h. über 30 °C/86 °F)
und/oder Kälte (d. h. unter -10 °C/14 °F); (2) Exposition gegenüber Sonne, Schnee,
Salzwasser und Regen; und (3) Exposition gegenüber Chemikalien, einschließlich,

REINIGUNG Wenn Ihr Produkt gereinigt werden muss, verwenden Sie NUR
warmes Wasser (max. 30 °C/86 °F) und eine neutrale Seife oder, falls erforderlich,
eine kleine Menge mildes Reinigungsmittel. Mit warmem Wasser abspülen und im
Schatten trocknen, bis es vollständig trocken ist. Wenn das Produkt Salzwasser
ausgesetzt wurde, mit warmem Wasser abspülen. Nicht in einem Trockner, in der
Nähe eines Heizgeräts oder einer anderen Wärmequelle trocknen. Bei Bedarf
können Halogen- und alkoholfreie Desinfektionsmittel verwendet werden. Keine
Lösungsmittel oder scheuernden Reinigungsmethoden verwenden.
MODIFIKATIONEN und REPARATUREN Alle Änderungen und Reparaturen
außerhalb der Trango-Einrichtungen sind verboten und ungültig.
LEBENSDAUER Die maximale Lebensdauer eines Helms, der ordnungsgemäß,
wie in diesen Anweisungen beschrieben, verwendet, transportiert, aufbewahrt und
der nicht beschädigt wurde, beträgt fünf (5) Jahre nach dem Herstellungsdatum,
das auf dem Aufkleber im Helm abgebildet ist. Wenn der Helm einen Aufprall erlitten
hat, beschädigt wurde oder mit Bedingungen und/oder Chemikalien in Kontakt
geraten ist, wie oben im Abschnitt Aufbewahrung beschrieben, sollten Sie den Helm
unverzüglich aus dem Verkehr ziehen. Schon bei einem einzigen Aufprall, einer
Beschädigung oder einer Exposition muss der Helm nach einmaligem Gebrauch evtl.
aus dem Verkehr gezogen werden. Wenn Sie Zweifel bezüglich der Integrität oder
Sicherheit Ihres Helms haben, nachdem Sie eine Überprüfung vorgenommen bzw.
Ihren Helm verwendet haben, ZIEHEN SIE IHN AUS DEM VERKEHR!
PRODUKTKENNZEICHNUNG Die folgenden Informationen sind bei Verkauf
an jedem Halo Helm angebracht: die Art der Ausrüstung, d. h. „Helm für
Bergsteiger“; Hersteller- und Modellname, d. h. Trango, Halo; das Jahr und das

TRANSPORTE Tenga cuidado al empacar, transportar y/o almacenar el casco,
no lo empaque demasiado apretado ni lo coloque cerca de equipos metálicos que
puedan aplastar, impactar o dañar la carcasa de alguna otra manera. Coloque la
correa de sujeción dentro del casco para que no se enganche en otros equipos y
resulte dañada.
ALMACENAMIENTO Siempre almacene el Producto en un ambiente seco
y fresco, protegido de la radiación UV, productos químicos, calor, frío y daños
mecánicos. Asegúrese siempre de que el Producto se almacene de manera que
esté protegido de (1) calor extremo (es decir, por encima de 30 °C/86 °F) y/o frío
(es decir, por debajo de -10 °C/14 °F); (2) exposición a los elementos, como el sol,

INSPECTION AVANT CHAQUE UTILISATION Inspecter toutes les parties
du casque Halo avant chaque utilisation pour détecter tout signe de dommage ou
d’usure. Ceci inclut l’inspection de la coque extérieure, de l’intérieur, du bandeau
de xation, de la sangle, des coutures, du système d’ajustement et des boucles.
Arrêtez immédiatement toute utilisation ultérieure du casque Halo et remplacez-le si
vous observez tout signe d’endommagement ou de déformation sur le casque.
REMPLACEZ IMMÉDIATEMENT VOTRE CASQUE HALO SI L’UN DES
ÉVÉNEMENTS SUIVANTS SE PRODUIT :
• Le casque est impacté de quelque manière que ce soit, y compris pendant

objet (par ex., rochers, glace, équipement, etc.).
• Le casque ou ses pièces ont été exposés ou en contact avec des produits

bosselures, des creux, des rayures profondes, des abrasions, des ssures

• Le casque est souillé au-delà du nettoyage.
N’oubliez pas que le casque Halo est conçu pour absorber l’énergie en cas d’impact.
La déformation du matériau de la Coque du casque à l’impact est la principale
source d’absorption d’énergie. Tout casque qui a été touché devrait être remplacé
même si les dommages n’apparaissent pas visiblement. En plus d’inspecter le
casque avant chaque utilisation, inspecter immédiatement le casque dès que vous
soupçonnez un dommage pendant l’utilisation.
PENDANT CHAQUE UTILISATION Assurez-vous que le casque Halo est
toujours correctement ajusté et solidement attaché à votre tête.
UTILISATION DE VOTRE CASQUE Avant chaque utilisation du casque,
vous devez vous assurer d’une bonne tenue. Le casque doit être centré et ajusté
solidement sur la tête de l’utilisateur, avec un mouvement minimum de l’avant vers
l’arrière et/ou un mouvement latéral.
Étapes d’ajustement
-Figure 3 : Desserrez le bandeau en tirant les deux languettes de l’adaptateur de
la tête séparément.
-Figure 4 et Figure 4a : Ajustez la taille par l’ajusteur du serre-tête an d’assurer un
ajustement parfait pour la forme de votre tête. Lorsqu’il est ajusté à la bonne taille
pour votre tête, le casque devrait être ajusté et confortable avec un mouvement
minimal.
-Figure 5 : Régler la sangle de menton et s’assurer que la boucle est solidement
xée.
-Figure 6 : Tout en portant le casque, serrez le serre-tête en tirant sur les deux
sangles comme illustré.
AVERTISSEMENT ! Si le casque n’est pas correctement installé, il ne protègera
pas l’utilisateur. L’ajustement du casque devrait être vérié avant chaque utilisation,
surtout s’il existe des différences de couches sous le casque, par exemple en portant
un chapeau ou une capuche. Si vous ne pouvez pas ajuster le casque pour bien
s’ajuster à votre tête comme décrit dans ces instructions, NE PAS utiliser le casque.
TRANSPORT Soyez prudent lors de l’emballage, du transport et/ou du stockage
de votre casque, de ne pas l’emballer trop fermement ou de le placer à côté
d’équipements en métal qui pourraient écraser, impacter ou endommager la Coque.
Placer la sangle de menton à l’intérieur du casque an qu’elle ne s’accroche pas sur
d’autres équipements et entraîne des dommages.
STOCKAGE Conservez toujours le Produit dans un environnement sec et frais,
protégé contre les rayons UV, les produits chimiques, la chaleur, le froid et les
dommages mécaniques. Toujours s’assurer que le Produit est stocké de façon à ce
qu’il soit protégé de (1) la chaleur extrême (c.-à-d. au-dessus de 30 °C/86 °F) et/
ou du froid (c.-à-d., en dessous de -10 °C/-14 °F) ; (2) l’exposition aux éléments,
comme le soleil, la neige, l’eau salée et la pluie; et (3) l’exposition à des produits

ISPEZIONE PRIMA DI OGNI UTILIZZO Ispezionare tutte le parti del casco Halo
prima di ogni utilizzo per ricercare eventuali segni di danni o usura. Ciò include
l’ispezione della scocca esterna, dell’interno, dell’attacco della fascia per la testa,
del tessuto della fascia, delle cuciture, del sistema di regolazione e delle bbie.

SOSTITUIRE IMMEDIATAMENTE IL CASCO HALO SE SI VERIFICA UNO
QUALSIASI DEI SEGUENTI EVENTI:
• Il casco subisce un urto in qualsiasi modo, anche durante una caduta, viene
schiacciato, subisce una caduta mentre è imballato, viene colpito da un
oggetto (ad es. rocce, ghiaccio, attrezzatura, ecc.).
• Il casco o le sue parti sono state esposte a o a contatto con sostanze
chimiche o temperature estreme.
• La supercie del casco è irregolare, deformata, presenta rigonamenti,
ammaccature, spaccature, graf profondi, abrasioni, crepe e/o mostra segni
di degradazione o usura eccessiva.
• Cinghie, bbie, fascia per la testa e/o ammortizzazione sono usurati,
slacciati, tagliati e/o altrimenti danneggiati.
• Il casco rimane sporco anche dopo la pulizia.
Ricordarsi che il casco Halo è stato progettato per assorbire l’energia in caso di
urto. La deformazione del materiale della scocca del casco in seguito a un urto è
la principale fonte di assorbimento dell’energia. Qualsiasi casco interessato deve
essere sostituito anche se il danno non è visibilmente evidente. Oltre a effettuare
ispezioni prima di ogni utilizzo, ispezionare immediatamente il casco ogni volta che si
sospetta un danno durante l’uso.
DURANTE OGNI UTILIZZO Accertarsi che il casco Halo sia sempre montato
correttamente e agganciato saldamente alla testa.
UTILIZZO DEL CASCO Prima di ogni utilizzo del casco, è necessario accertarsi
un’aderenza corretta. Il casco deve essere centrato e ssato saldamente sulla testa
dell’utente, con un minimo gioco frontale-posteriore e/o da lato a lato. .
Passaggi per indossare il casco

cinghie, come illustrato.

sotto il casco, ad esempio un cappello o un cappuccio. Se non è possibile regolare il
casco per adattarlo correttamente alla testa come descritto in queste istruzioni, NON
utilizzare il casco.
TRASPORTO Quando si imballa, si trasporta e/o si conserva il casco, fare
attenzione a non impacchettarlo in modo troppo stretto o a non posizionarlo accanto
ad attrezzature in metallo che potrebbero urtare, schiacciare o altrimenti danneggiare
la scocca. Posizionare la fascia per il mento all’interno del casco in modo che non si
impigli ad altre attrezzature e non si danneggi.
CONSERVAZIONE Conservare sempre il Prodotto in un ambiente asciutto
e fresco, protetto da radiazioni UV, sostanze chimiche, calore, freddo e danni
meccanici. Accertarsi sempre che il Prodotto sia conservato in modo che sia protetto
da (1) temperature torride (ad es., superiori a 30 °C) e/o fredde (ad es., inferiori a
-10 °C); (2) esposizione agli agenti atmosferici, come sole, neve, acqua salata e
pioggia; e (3) esposizione a eventuali sostanze chimiche, inclusi, tra l’altro: eventuali
adesivi, vernici, solventi, acidi e altre sostanze chimiche reattive. L’esposizione a una
qualsiasi delle suddette condizioni e sostanze chimiche può danneggiare il Prodotto
e indebolire signicativamente le proprietà di assorbimento dell’energia d’urto e di
protezione del Prodotto. Inoltre, i danni causati da tale esposizione spesso non sono
visibili, pertanto, sostituire il Prodotto immediatamente se è stato esposto a una delle
condizioni e sostanze chimiche precedenti.
PULIZIA Per pulire il Prodotto, UTILIZZARE SOLO acqua tiepida (max. 30 °C) e
sapone neutro o una piccola quantità di detergente delicato, se necessario, quindi
sciacquare con acqua tiepida e lasciare asciugare all’ombra no a quando non è
completamente asciutto. Se il Prodotto è stato esposto ad acqua salata, sciacquare
con acqua tiepida. Non asciugare in asciugatrice, vicino a un radiatore o ad altra
fonte di calore. Se necessario, è possibile utilizzare disinfettanti alogeni e privi di
alcol. Non utilizzare solventi o metodi di pulizia abrasivi.
MODIFICHE e RIPARAZIONI Tutte le modiche e le riparazioni presso centri
diversi da Trango sono vietate e invalidano la garanzia limitata.
VITA UTILE La durata massima di un casco utilizzato, trasportato e conservato
correttamente come descritto in queste istruzioni e che non sia stato danneggiato è
di cinque (5) anni dalla data di produzione indicata sull’adesivo all’interno del casco.
Se il casco subisce urti, danni o è esposto a condizioni e/o a sostanze chimiche
come descritto sopra nella sezione Conservazione, scartarlo immediatamente. Un
singolo caso di urto, danno o esposizione potrebbe richiedere di scartare il casco
dopo un solo utilizzo. In caso di dubbi sull’integrità o sulla sicurezza del casco dopo
l’ispezione o l’uso, SCARTARLO.
ETICHETTATURA DEL PRODOTTO Le seguenti informazioni sono allegate
a ciascun casco Halo disponibile in commercio: il tipo di attrezzatura, ad esempio
“casco per alpinismo”; il produttore e il nome del modello, ovvero Trango, Halo;
l’anno e la data di produzione; la gamma di dimensioni; il numero di lotto; e la
certicazione, ad esempio EN 12492:20.
CERTIFICAZIONE DEL PRODOTTO Il casco Halo è stato progettato
esclusivamente per l’arrampicata e l’alpinismo su rocce e ghiaccio. È conforme allo
standard EN 12492:20 ed è stato testato da ITS Testing Services UK LTD, Center
Court, Meridian Business Park, Leicester, LE19 1WD, Regno Unito, NB 0362.
GARANZIA LIMITATA Il casco Halo è coperto da una garanzia limitata di tre (3)
anni, decorrente dalla data originale di acquisto da parte dell’acquirente originale.

ございます！Haloヘルメット（以下「本製品」）は、岩壁・氷
壁でのクライミングと登山専用に設計されています。岩壁・氷
壁でのクライミングと登山（以下「活動」）は、重傷または死
に至る可能性のある、本質的に危険な活動です。
警告！！本製品のご使用前に、必ず次のことを実行してくださ
い：（1）本説明書の内容をすべて読んで完全に理解し、常に
守ること、（2）本製品の適正な装着・使用法について十分な
トレーニングを受けること、（3）本製品の限界と機能につい
て理解しておくこと、（4）本製品の使用と活動への参加には
危険が伴うことを理解し、受け入れること。
活動と山岳地形がもたらす客観的・主観的な危険を最小限に抑
えるには、十分なトレーニングと経験が必要です。本説明書の

毎回の使用前点検
Haloヘルメットをご使用になる前に毎回、損傷や摩耗の兆候が
ないか、すべての部品を点検してください。これには、外部シ
ェル、内部、ヘッドバンド取付部、ウェビング、縫い目、調節
システム、およびバックルが含まれます。Haloヘルメットに何
らかの損傷または変形の兆候が見られる場合は、直ちに使用を
中止し、交換してください。
次の状況が発生した場合は、お使いになっているHaloヘルメッ
トを直ちに交換してください。
• ヘルメットが何らかの衝撃を受けた（落下中を含む）、
破砕した、梱包状態で落下した、物体（岩、氷、装備な
ど）による打撃を受けた場合。
• ヘルメットまたはその部品が、化学物質もしくは極端な
温度にさらされた場合。
• ヘルメットの表面が滑らかでない、変形している、表面
に隆起、くぼみ、深いキズ、すり減り、亀裂がある、劣
化や過度の摩耗の兆候が見られる場合。
• ストラップ、バックル、ヘッドバンド、クッションに摩
滅、擦り切れ、その他の損傷がある場合。
• ヘルメットを洗浄しても汚れが落ちない場合。
Haloヘルメットは、衝撃を受けた際にエネルギーを吸収する設
計である点にご留意ください。衝撃時にヘルメットのシェル材
料が変形することにより、主にエネルギーを吸収しています。
衝撃を受けたヘルメットは、目に見える明らかな損傷がない場
合でも、交換する必要があります。ヘルメットは、毎回の使用
前点検のほか、使用中に損傷が疑われる場合は必ず直ちに点検
してください。
使用中の注意事項
Haloヘルメットが常にきちんと合っており、バックルで頭部に
確実に固定されていることを確認してください。
ヘルメットの使用
ヘルメットをご使用になる前に毎回、きちんと合っていること
を必ず確認してください。ヘルメットがユーザーの頭部にずれ
なくぴったり合っており、前後左右への動きが最小限である状
態にする必要があります。
装着手順：
-図3：ヘッドバンドアジャスターの2つのタブを反対方向に引
いて、ヘッドバンドを緩めてください。
-図4および図4a：ヘッドバンドアジャスターでサイズを調節
し、頭部の形にぴったり合うようにしてください。正しいサイ
ズに調節できている場合、ヘルメットがしっかりと合い、ぐら
つきが最小限で快適なはずです。
-図5：チンストラップを調節して、バックルが確実に留まるよ
うにしてください。
-図6：ヘルメットを着用した状態で、図のように2本のストラ
ップを引いてヘッドバンドを締めてください。
警告！
ヘルメットがきちんと合っていないと、ユーザーを保護できま
せん。ヘルメットをご使用になる前に毎回、フィッティングを
点検する必要があります。特に、ヘルメットの下に重ねて着用
するハットやフードなどを変えた場合は、必ず点検してくださ
い。上記の方法でヘルメットを調節して、頭部にきちんと合わ
せることができない場合、ヘルメットを使用しないでくださ
い。
持ち運び
ヘルメットの梱包、持ち運び、保管の際は、固く締め付けすぎ
ないようにし、シェルの潰れ、衝撃、その他の損傷の原因にな
り得る金属製の装備品のそばに置かないよう注意してくださ
い。チンストラップは、他の装備品に引っかかって損傷の原因
とならないよう、ヘルメット内に収めてください。
保管
本製品は常に、紫外線の放射、化学物質、高温、低温、および
機械的損傷から保護して、乾燥した涼しい場所に保管してく
ださい。本製品は常に、（1）極端な高温（30ºC／86ºFを超え
る温度）および／または低温（－10ºC／14ºFを下回る温度）
、（2）直射日光、雪、海水、雨などの厳しい気象条件への暴
露、（3）化学物質（接着剤、塗料、溶剤、酸、その他の反応
性の高い化学物質を含みますが、これらに限定されません）へ
の暴露から確実に保護されるように保管してください。上記の
条件および化学物質にさらされることにより、本製品の損傷
や、エネルギー吸収・保護性能の著しい低下が起こる可能性が
あります。さらに、そのような暴露によって生じた損傷は目に
見えないことが多いため、上記の条件および化学物質にさらさ
れた場合は、直ちに本製品を交換してください。
洗浄
本製品の洗浄が必要な場合は、ぬるま湯（30ºC／86ºF以下）と
必要に応じて中性石けんまたは少量の中性洗剤のみを使用し
て、ぬるま湯ですすいだあと、完全に乾くまで日陰で乾燥させ
てください。本製品が塩水にさらされた場合は、ぬるま湯です
すいでください。乾燥機に入れたり、ラジエーターの近くに置
いたりするなど、熱源を使用しての乾燥はおやめください。必
要な場合は、ハロゲンとアルコールを含まない消毒剤を使用で
きます。溶剤や研磨材による洗浄方法は使用しないでくださ
い。
改造および修理
Trangoの施設外での改造・修理を一切禁じます。改造・修理を
行った場合は限定保証が無効になります。
耐用寿命
本説明書の内容に従って適切に使用、持ち運び、保管を行い、
損傷したことのないヘルメットの耐用寿命は、製造日から5年
間です。製造日はヘルメット内側のステッカーに記載されてい
ます。ヘルメットが衝撃や損傷を受けた場合、あるいは上記の
「保管」セクションに記載される条件や化学物質にさらされた
場合は、直ちに使用を中止してください。一度でも衝撃、損
傷、暴露があった場合、ヘルメットの初回使用後に使用をやめ
る必要が生じることがあります。ご自身のヘルメットの点検後
または使用後、完全性や安全性について疑わしい点がある場合
は、使用を中止してください！
製品上の表示
Haloヘルメットの各製品には、販売時に以下の情報が表示され
ています：用具種別（「登山用ヘルメット」）、メーカーおよ
びモデル名（Trango Halo）、製造年月日、サイズ、バッチ番
号、認証番号（EN 12492:20）。
製品認証
Haloヘルメットは、岩壁・氷壁でのクライミングと登山専用
に設計されたヘルメットです。EN 12492:20規格に準拠してい
ます。試験実施機関：ITS Testing Services UK LTD（Center

限定保証
Haloヘルメットには、購入者ご本人を対象に購入日より3年間
の限定保証が付属しています。本限定保証は材質と製造上の欠
陥のみを対象とします。通常の使用および摩耗、不適切な使
用・保守管理・保管、および／または悪用もしくは誤用による
損傷は、この限定保証から明示的に除外されます。
免責条項
