Select the reflector based on the required sensing range
The green LED lights up once the sensor has been connected to the FlexChain
host.
Perform an AutoAssign on the FlexChain host, the sensor is recognized. The sen‐
sor is optimally aligned with the reflector by swiveling the sensor horizontally and
vertically. There should be no objects between the sensor and reflector. When
aligned correctly, the yellow LED lights up continuously. If not aligned correctly or if
there is not adequate reserve, the yellow LED flashes.
Once the alignment is complete, teach in the sensor via the host. Then test the
function by moving an object into the light beam.

Auswahl des Reflektors in Abhängigkeit der benötigten Reichweite
Nach Anschluss des Sensors am FlexChain Host leuchtet die grüne LED.
Führen Sie am FlexChain Host einen AutoAsign durch, der Sensor wird erkannt.
Durch horizontales und vertikales Schwenken wird der Sensor optimal auf den
Reflektor ausgerichtet. Dabei ist kein Objekt zwischen Sensor und Reflektor. Bei
optimaler Ausrichtung leuchtet die gelbe LED konstant. Bei ungenauer Ausrich‐
tung oder nicht ausreichender Reserve blinkt die gelbe LED.
Nachdem die Ausrichtung abgeschlossen ist, teachen Sie den Sensor über den
Host. Testen Sie anschließend die Funktion, indem Sie ein Objekt in den Licht‐
strahl verschieben.

Une fois l’alignement terminé, vous effectuez l’apprentissage du capteur via
l'hôte. Testez ensuite le fonctionnement en déplaçant un objet dans le faisceau.

Al conectar el sensor en el FlexChain Host el LED se ilumina verde. El reflector

zontal y vertical se alinea el sensor óptimamente respecto al reflector. Durante

cisa o sin reserva suficiente, el LED amarillo parpadea.
Después de finalizar la alineación realice el aprendizaje del sensor a través del
host. A continuación compruebe la función desplazando un objeto hacia el haz de
luz.
