Pre-set cooking mode (Fig. 4)
1 Follow the steps in “Preparing your cooking blender”.
2 Turn the rotary knob to a pre-set function you need
(step 3 in Fig. 4).
• To adjust the cooking time, press -/+ button. See table
below for adjustable cooking time.
Tip: Keep -/+ button pressed to increase or decrease the
time setting quickly.
3 Press OK to start cooking.
» When cooking is completed, you will hear a few beeps.
4 Turn the rotary knob to “0” position after cooking.
• The LED display will turn o if there is no operation in 5
minutes. You can wake up the appliance and continue
operating by pressing any function key.
• If you want softer cooked food, switch to manual cooking
mode to cook for longer time. Follow the steps in “Manual
cooking mode”.
5 Unplug the appliance.
6 Remove the blender jar from the motor unit (step 9 in Fig. 4).
• This allows the heating element to cool down faster.
• Be aware that the lid and the blender jar will be hot after
cooking.
• Be aware of the steam release when you lift the lid and
measuring cup.
Warning: Do not touch the bottom of blender jar and the
heating element after cooking. It is very hot!
7 Pour out the cooked ingredients/soup from the blender jar to
avoid overcooking.

1 Important
Read this important information carefully before you use the
appliance and save it for future reference.
Warning
• Do not misuse the appliance to avoid potential injury.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household only.
• Do not touch the sharp blades when the appliance is plugged
in. If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance before you
remove the ingredients. Be careful when handling the sharp
cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
• Switch o and unplug the appliance from the power supply
before:
• Removing it from the stand, changing accessories or
approaching parts that move in use.
• Assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.
• It is left unattended.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds
to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord, housing,
lid or blender jar are damaged or has visible cracks. If the
mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips,
a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Make sure the blade unit is securely fastened and the lid is
properly assembled to the blender jar before you use the
appliance.
• This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the
thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through
an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to
a circuit that is regularly switched on and o by the utility.
• Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or
blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a
sudden steaming.
• Never assemble or disassemble the blender jar, chopper
beaker or mill beaker to the motor base while the power is on.
• Read the cleaning procedure from "User Manual" before use.
• Be careful that the heating element surface is subject to
residual heat after use.
Caution
• Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers
or that Philips does not specically recommend. If you use
such accessories or parts, your guarantee becomes invalid.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
• Do not exceed the maximum indication on the blender jar.
• Do not exceed the maximum quantities and processing times
indicated in the relevant table.
• If food sticks to the wall of the blender jar, switch o the
appliance and unplug it. Then use a spatula to remove the
food from the wall.
• Never ll the blender jar with ingredients 80ºC hotter than
ambient temperature. Avoid to pour cold water into the blade
unit and blender jar immediately after use. Wait until it has
been fully cooled.
• The appliance can only be switched on if the blender jar is
assembled on the motor unit correctly.
• Do not touch the heating element ,coupling and blade unit
after use. Let it cool down for approx. 30 minutes before
cleaning or disassmebly.

• Beware the appliance releases steam which can cause burns.
Handle the lid and measuring cup carefully.
Caution
• Let the appliance cool down to room temperature before use.
• Clean up the blade unit and blender jar after use.
• Always make sure the lid is properly closed/assembled on the
jar and the measuring cup is inserted properly in the lid before

Blending
Warning
• Never reach into the blender jar with your ngers or an object
while the appliance is running.
• If the blade unit gets stuck, unplug the appliance before you
remove the ingredients that block the blades.
Caution
• To prevent spillage, do not put more than 1.5 litres of liquid in
the blender jar, especially when you process at a high speed.
Do not put more than 1.5 litre in the blender jar when you
process hot liquids or ingredients that tend to foam.
• Do not let the appliance run for more than 3 minutes at a time.
Let the appliance cool down to room temperature before you
continue processing.
• Always make sure the lid is properly closed/assembled on the
jar and the measuring cup is inserted properly in the lid before
you switch on the appliance.
Built-in safety lock
This feature ensures that you can only switch on the appliance
if the blender jar is assembled on the motor unit properly. If the
blender jar, the multi-chopper beaker is correctly assembled, the
built-in safety lock will be unlocked.
Safety Feature
This blender is tted with a safety feature which safeguards
against excessive loads. In case of overloading, the blender
automatically activates the protection and operation will stop.
If this occurs, set the rotary knob to "0" position, unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool down for 15 minutes. Remove the
ingredients and clear up the blender jar before starting operation.
Boil-dry protection
This appliance is equipped with boil-dry protection:
It switches o automatically and show (hot) on display if you
accidentally switch it on with no or not enough liquid in it. Let the
appliance cool down for 15 minutes and unplug it. The rotary knob
is set to “0” and the appliance is ready for use again.

1 Assemble your cooking blender as suggested (Fig. 3).

» The appliance is ready to use.
Note:

Cleaning (Fig. 9)
1 Plug in the power cord.
2 Pour in non-abrasive cleaning detergent and warm
soapy water (no more than half of maximum capacity).
3 Insert the measuring cup and the lid.
4 Press Pulse button for 3 to 5 times.
5 Keep the soapy water in the blender jar for 15 minutes.
6 Unplug the appliance and then pour out to empty the
blender jar.
7 Rinse under tap to clean the blender jar.
Note:
• Do not use any metallic or sharp-edged utensils on the
blade unit to avoid scratching on the surface.
• Do not use metal wool or brush to wash the blade unit
to avoid scratching.
• Use only soft cloth when cleaning the motor unit and
blade unit.
• Do not put the blade unit into the dishwasher.
Tip:
• Use soft cloth to clean the heating element after
using. This can ensure the best and consistent cooking
performance.

1 Follow the steps in “Preparing your cooking blender”.
2 When the LED display is blinking and showing 00:00,
the appliance is ready to use.
3 Turn the rotary knob to a speed setting (step 4 in Fig. 6).
» The blending process starts and the blending time
will count up on the LED display.
Note: To avoid overheating, the appliance will turn o
automatically after working for 3 minutes.
• Or you can set the blending time by pressing
-/+ button and then select a speed setting. The
adjustable time ranges from 30 seconds to 3
minutes. When the blending process starts, the
blending time will count down on the LED display.
The appliance will stop blending when the pre-set
time is reached.
4 When blending is completed, you will hear a few
beeps.
5 Turn the rotary knob to “0” position.
• The LED display will turn o if there is no operation
in 5 minutes. You can wake up the appliance and
continue operating by pressing any function key.
6 Unplug the appliance.
Note:
• Do not blend dry ingredients (for example pepper corn
or star anise). It will damage the coating and aect the

么办？
在搅拌之前先将水果和蔬菜切成小块，这样
成品就会更细腻了
能不能使用烹
饪搅拌器来煮
牛奶？
我们不推荐使用本机来加热含有大量牛奶、
奶油或者淀粉的液体。因为这些原材料很容易
粘在杯底造成烧焦。您可以先用本机搅拌这些
原材料，然后再去灶台加热来浓缩此类食材。
