Farmer Eggbert just loves fried eggs. ! As he heads towards the
henhouse, where he hopes that Cackling Cathy has laid some
eggs, just the thought of them is making his mouth water. But

Game Idea
You collect fried eggs! First you decide how many eggs farmer
Eggbert wants to eat and then you place him on the corresponding
fry pan. Then roll the die. According to whatever appears on the
die, you either take the fry pan immediately or have to try to unco-
ver as many chicken cards, of the same color as on the die, as eggs
in the fry pan. If you manage to do so, you can take the fry pan
with the fried eggs. Whoever collects the most fried eggs, wins the
game.
Preparation of the Game
Shuffle the chicken cards and arrange them face-down in a square.
Make sure that no cards overlap. Then arrange the fry pan cards in
a circle around the chicken cards. Get farmer Eggbert and the die
ready.

How to Play
Play in a clockwise direction. Whoever has already broken
an egg into a frying pan, starts. If you can not agree, the
youngest player starts.
Place farmer Eggbert on any fry pan. But think carefully,
as the more fried eggs there are in a pan, the more difficult
it will be to get this pan. Then you roll the die.
On the die appears:
The egg?
Lucky strike! Take the fry pan where Eggbert is standing.
A color?
Try to turn over as many chicken cards of the same color,
as fried eggs in the fry pan where Eggbert is standing.
Turn over a chicken card.
Does the card have the right background color?
¤No?
Pity! Let all the players see the card and then turn
it over again. Unfortunately your turn is then over.
¤Yes?
Well done!
If Eggbert stands on a pan with only one fried egg,
take the pan immediately and place it in front of you.
If there are various fried eggs in the pan, you have to
carry on turning over cards of the right color. If you fail,
your turn is over and you must turn all the cards over
again.
But if you reveal the right number of chicken cards,
your take the fry pan as your reward.
Then turn over all the chicken cards again.

The hen?
Decide on any color: red, yellow, blue or green. Try, as described
above, to turn over as many matching chicken cards as eggs in
Eggbert‘s fry pan.
Then it‘s the turn of the next player, who then places Farmer
Eggbert on any fry pan.
End of the Game
The game ends as soon as all twelve fry pans have been distributed.
Each player adds up the number of fried eggs on his fry pans.
Younger players who can not count as high yet should be helped
by elder players or an adult. The player who has collected the most
fried eggs wins the game and is cheered by the other players with
“Ogle, ogle, ogle - Egg, Egg, Egg!” In the event of a draw there
are several winners.
