4. Clean the anti-blocking nut - After removing the inner lid, clean the anti-blocking nut with a
wrung damp soft cloth. At the same time, check whether the exhaust vent is blocked. If the
exhaust vent is blocked, clean it with wet cloth, bamboo stick, brush and similar tools. After
clean, put it back to the original position onto the lid.
5. Clean the float valve - After removing the inner lid, remove the small rubber ring on the float
valve, take out the float valve. After cleaned, install the float valve and small rubber ring back
to the original position.

6. Clean the inner pot and lid - must use a soft material such as sponge and detergent, rinse them
and let them dry and then place it back to the original position.
7. If the float valve is not cleaned regularly or cooking some viscous or fluid food, the float valve
may be stuck by the viscous substances and cannot fall down automatically. In this case, a
slender object such as chopsticks can be used to press at the hole of the float valve (as shown
below) to let it down.
8. If food residual sticks on the inner pot, soak the inner pot with water for a while before cleaning.
9. If dirt is attached on the heating plate, main body or lid, use a damp cloth to clean and wipe
them dry.
10. To avoid damage on the inner pot coating, never use metal utensils or cut food in the inner pot.
11. Never use poisonous, corrosive detergent or clean with harsh cleaning tools (e.g. metal-wired
brush) for cleaning.
12. The color of inner pot may change after using a period of time, however it does not affect the
food safety.
