Placement
• Do not allow lighting devices that normally
are used while their light source is very
close to the unit (such as a piano light), or
powerful spotlights to shine upon the same
area of the unit for extended periods of
time. Excessive heat can deform or discolor
the unit.
• When moved from one location to
another where the temperature and/or
humidity is very di erent, water droplets
(condensation) may form inside the unit.
Damage or malfunction may result if you
attempt to use the unit in this condition.
Therefore, before using the unit, you must
allow it to stand for several hours, until the
condensation has completely evaporated.
• Do not paste stickers, decals, or the like to
this instrument. Peeling such matter o the
instrument may damage the exterior nish.
• Do not place containers or anything else
containing liquid on top of this unit. Also,
whenever any liquid has been spilled on
the surface of this unit, be sure to promptly
wipe it away using a soft, dry cloth.
Maintenance
• To clean the unit, use a dry, soft cloth; or
one that is slightly dampened. Try to wipe
the entire surface using an equal amount of
strength, moving the cloth along with the
grain of the wood. Rubbing too hard in the
same area can damage the nish.
• Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol or
solvents of any kind, to avoid the possibility
of discoloration and/or deformation.
• As with any wood-crafted product, some
expansion and contraction of the wood
can occur depending on the way the unit
is used and the environment in which it
is used. Over time, this can cause some
of the screws to start coming loose. To
ensure safe, worry-free use of the unit, you
should periodically check the tightness of
the screws shown in the illustration. If you
nd any that are loose, use a screwdriver to
tighten them.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Aufstellung
• Setzen Sie das Instrument keinen extremen
Temperaturen aus (z.B. Sonneneinstrahlung,
Heizkörper). Die Gehäuseober äche kann
dadurch beschädigt werden. Dieses kann
ebenfalls passieren, wenn das Instrument
direkt mit einer starken Lichtquelle
angestrahlt wird.
• Wenn das Gerät bei einem Transport
aus kalter/trockener Umgebung in eine
feucht-warme Umgebung gelangt, können
sich Wassertröpfchen (Kondensation) im
Geräteinneren bilden. Es können Schäden
oder Fehlfunktionen auftreten, wenn
Sie versuchen, das Gerät unter diesen
Bedingungen zu betreiben. Bevor Sie das
Gerät verwenden, lassen Sie es mehrere
Stunden lang stehen, bis das Kondensat
vollständig verdampft ist.
• Kleben Sie keine Aufkleber, Abziehbilder
oder Ähnliches auf das Instrument.
Beim Ablösen solcher Materialien vom
Instrument kann die Ober äche beschädigt
werden.
• Stellen Sie auf diesem Gerät keine

Wartung
• Verwenden Sie ein trockenes oder feuchtes,
weiches Tuch. Verwenden Sie klares Wasser
oder ein mildes neutrales Reinigungsmittel,
und trocknen Sie die Ober äche immer
gründlich mit einem weichen Tuch. Wischen
Sie immer mit der Maserung der Ober äche.
Drücken Sie das Tuch nicht zu fest an.
• Verwenden Sie kein Benzin oder
Verdünnungsmittel, Alkohol oder sonstige
Lösemittel, um Verfärbungen und/oder
Verformungen zu vermeiden.
• Bitte beachten Sie, dass bei Geräten, die
Bauteile aus Holz besitzen, abhängig
von den Umgebungsbedingungen eine
Ausdehnung bzw. Schrumpfung der
Holz ächen auftreten kann. Das kann u.a.
dazu führen, dass sich Schrauben lockern.
Sie sollten daher regelmäßig prüfen, ob alle
in der Abbildung angegebenen Schrauben
noch fest genug sitzen und diese ggf.
mithilfe eines Schraubendrehers festziehen.

REMARQUES IMPORTANTES
Installation
• Veillez à ce que des dispositifs d’éclairage
qui sont normalement utilisés avec leur
source lumineuse très proche de l’appareil
(par exemple une lampe de piano) ou des
spots lumineux puissants n’éclairent pas
la même zone de l’appareil pendant une
période prolongée. Une chaleur excessive
peut déformer ou décolorer l’appareil.
• En cas de déplacement d’un endroit vers
un autre où la température et/ou l’humidité
sont très di érentes, des gouttelettes
d’eau (condensation) peuvent se former
à l’intérieur de l’appareil. L’appareil peut
alors présenter des dysfonctionnements
ou des dommages si vous essayez de
l’utiliser dans ces conditions. Avant de vous
en servir, il convient d’attendre quelques
heures, jusqu’à ce que la condensation soit
complètement évaporée.
• Ne collez pas d’autocollants, de
décalcomanies ou d’autres objets similaires
sur cet instrument. Vous risqueriez
d’endommager la nition extérieure de
l’instrument en les décollant.
• Ne placez pas de récipient ou autre objet
contenant du liquide sur cet appareil. Si
jamais du liquide se déverse sur la surface
de l’appareil, essuyez-le rapidement à l’aide
d’un chi on doux et sec.
Entretien
• Pour nettoyer l’appareil, utilisez un chi on
sec et doux, ou un chi on légèrement
humidi é. Essayez de nettoyer toute la
surface en utilisant une pression égale, en
déplaçant le chi on le long du grain du
bois. Vous risquez d’endommager la nition
si vous frottez trop fort la même zone.
• N’utilisez jamais de benzine, de diluant,
d’alcool ou de solvants a n d’éviter
tout risque de décoloration et/ou de
déformation.
• Comme pour tout produit en bois, il peut
se produire une certaine expansion et
contraction du bois selon la manière dont
l’appareil est utilisé et son environnement
d’utilisation. Au l du temps, il peut
arriver que certaines vis commencent à se
desserrer. Pour garantir un fonctionnement
able et sans souci de l’appareil, pensez à
véri er régulièrement que les vis sont bien
serrées comme montré sur l’illustration.
Si vous constatez que certaines vis sont
desserrées, resserrez-les à l’aide d’un
tournevis.

Installing the Pedal Board
1. Attach the installation hardware to the inside of the side
boards.
2. Fasten the pedal board (KPD-70) to the stand as shown in
the illustration.
3. Connect the cable of the pedal board to the Pedal 2 jack on
the rear panel of the FP-30.

1. Fissare i giunti di installazione all’interno dei pannelli
laterali.
2. Fissare la pedaliera (KPD-70) al supporto come indicato nella
gura.
3. Collegare il cavo della pedaliera al jack Pedal 2 sul pannello
posteriore dell'unità FP-30.

1. Acople una escuadra metálica de instalación al interior de
cada uno de los tableros laterales.
2. Fije el tablón de pedales (KPD-70) al soporte como se
muestra en la ilustración.
3. Conecte el cable del tablón de pedales al conector Pedal 2
del panel posterior del FP-30.
