Preparing the Video Camera Recorder
For details, please refer to the operating instructions supplied with your video
camera recorder.
1 Remove filter, conversion lens, lens cap or the shoulder strap
from the video camera recorder.
When using DCR-HC43/HC42/HC40/HC39/HC33/HC32/HC30/HC22/
HC21/HC20/HC19/HC18/HC17/HC16 models, open the lens shutter.
2 Install the battery pack.
Attach a fully recharged battery.
3 Insert the media.

Préparation du caméscope
Pour plus d’informations, reportez-vous au mode d’emploi fourni avec le
caméscope.
1 Retirez le filtre, le convertisseur, le capuchon d’objectif et la
bandoulière du caméscope.
Si vous utilisez l’un des modèles suivants : DCR-HC43/HC42/HC40/HC39/
HC33/HC32/HC30/HC22/HC21/HC20/HC19/HC18/HC17/HC16, ouvrez
le cache-objectif.
2 Installez la batterie.
Placez une batterie entièrement rechargée.
3 Introduisez le support.
Lors de l’utilisation de l’un des modèles suivants : DCR-HC90/HC43/
HC42/HC40/HC39/HC33/HC32/HC30/HC22/HC21/HC20/HC19/HC18/
HC17/HC16
Insérez une cassette et le « Memory Stick Duo ».
Lors de l’utilisation de l’un des modèles suivants : DCR-DVD803/
DVD703/DVD653/DVD602/DVD403/DVD203/DVD202/DVD201/
DVD103/DVD101/DVD92/DVD91
Insérez le disque.
Déverrouillez le taquet de sécurité du « Memory Stick Duo » et de la cassette
pour permettre l’enregistrement.
Assurez-vous que l’espace est suffisant sur la cassette, le « Memory Stick Duo
» et le disque pour l’enregistrement.
Vérifiez que le disque n’est pas clôturé.
4 Fixez la bague antireflet sur le filetage du filtre du caméscope.
5 Retournez le panneau de l’écran LCD et rabattez-le contre le
caméscope avec l’écran LCD orienté vers l’extérieur.
6 Réglez les fonctions telles que la mise au point et l’éclairage sur
AUTO.
A Sélection du sabot de montage du caméscope
1 Choisissez le sabot de montage et le numéro en vous reportant
au tableau suivant.
2 Alignez la plaque de fixation sur le numéro choisi sur le sabot,
puis exercez une pression dessus jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’encliquette
dans son logement.
En usine, la plaque de fixation est en position numéro 1, sur le sabot A.
B Installation du caméscope
Mettez le commutateur POWER du caméscope en position « OFF (CHG) » et
laissez le commutateur POWER du caisson sur « OFF ».
1 Fixez le sabot de montage du caméscope.
Alignez le logement à vis du sabot avec la vis qui se trouve sous le caméscope.

1 Nehmen Sie Filter, Konverter, Objektiv und Schulterriemen vom
Camcorder ab.
Im Falle der Modelle DCR-HC43/HC42/HC40/HC39/HC33/HC32/HC30/
HC22/HC21/HC20/HC19/HC18/HC17/HC16 öffnen Sie den
Objektivverschluss.
2 Bringen Sie den Akku an.
Verwenden Sie einen voll geladenen Akku.
3 Setzen Sie das Speichermedium ein.
Im Falle der Modelle DCR-HC90/HC43/HC42/HC40/HC39/HC33/HC32/
HC30/HC22/HC21/HC20/HC19/HC18/HC17/HC16
Legen Sie eine Cassette und einen „Memory Stick Duo“ ein.
Im Falle der Modelle DCR-DVD803/DVD703/DVD653/DVD602/
DVD403/DVD203/DVD202/DVD201/DVD103/DVD101/DVD92/DVD91
Legen Sie eine Disc ein.
Entriegeln Sie die Schutzlasche am „Memory Stick Duo“ und an der Cassette,
so dass ein Aufnehmen möglich ist.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der frei Platz auf dem „Memory Stick Duo“ und der
Disc zum Speichern der Bilder ausreicht.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Disc nicht finalisiert ist.
4 Bringen Sie den Reflexionsschutzring am Filtergewinde des
Camcorders an.
5 Klappen Sie den LCD-Schirm umgedreht in den Camcorder
zurück, so dass die Bildfläche nach außen weist.
6 Stellen Sie Fokussierung, Belichtung usw. auf AUTO.
A Wahl des Kameramontageschuhs
1 Entnehmen Sie den Montageschuh und die Nummer der
folgenden Tabelle.
2 Richten Sie die Stativschraubenplatte entsprechend der
ermittelten Nummer auf den Montageschuh aus, und drücken
Sie auf die Stativschraubenplatte, so dass sie mit einem Klicken
einrastet.
Im weksseitigen Ausgangszustand ist die Stativschraubenplatte an Nummer 1
des Montageschuhs A angebracht.
B Einsetzen des Camcorders
Stellen Sie den POWER-Schalter des Camcorders „OFF (CHG)“ und den
POWER-Schalter des Sports Pack auf „OFF“.
1 Bringen Sie den Kameramontageschuh an.
Richten Sie die Schraube des Montageschuhs auf die Stativschraubenbohrung
an der Unterseite des Camcorders aus.
Verwenden Sie die Metallteile des Schulterriemens wie in der Abbildung
gezeigt.
2 Lösen Sie die Schnallen.
1 Schieben Sie beim Öffnen der Schnalle die Verriegelungstaste in
Pfeilrichtung.
2 Öffnen Sie den hinteren Gehäuseteil.
3 Behandeln Sie das Frontglas mit Antibeschlagflüssigkeit.
Bringen Sie 2 bis 3 Tropfen der mitgelieferten Antibeschlagflüssigkeit auf das
Frontglas im Inneren der Sports Pack auf.
4 Entfernen Sie Staub, Sand, Haare und andere Fremkörper vom O-
Ring, der Nut und allen Flächen, auf denen der O-Ring aufliegt.
Fetten Sie dann den O-Ring leicht und gleichmäßig ein.
Fremdkörper an den Dichtstellen können beim Schließen des Gehäuses
Beschädigungen verursachen und den wasserdichten Abschluss gefährden.
5 Stecken Sie die Stecker in die Buchsen des Camcorders.
Falls bei Ihrem Camcorder erforderlich, stecken Sie den Fernsteuerstecker fest
in die
LANC-Buchse oder die Fernsteuerbuchse und den Audiostecker in
die A/V-Buchse.
Bei Verwendung der DCR-HC90 (siehe Abbildung B-5-A)
1 Stecken Sie den Fernsteuerstecker ein.
2 Stecken Sie den Audiostecker ein.
3 Verlegen Sie das Kabel wie gezeigt.
Bei Verwendung der DCR-HC43/HC42/HC39/HC33/HC32/HC22/HC21/
HC19/HC17 (siehe Abbildung B-5-B)
1 Stecken Sie den Fernsteuerstecker ein.
2 Stecken Sie den Audiostecker ein.
3 Verlegen Sie das Kabel wie gezeigt.
Bei Verwendung der DCR-DVD803/DVD703/DVD653/DVD602/
DVD403/DVD203/DVD202/DVD103/DVD92 (siehe Abbildung B-5-C)
1 Stecken Sie den Audiostecker ein.
Die unten befindliche Buchsenabdeckung darf nicht über den Stecker des
Audiokabels hinausragen.
2 Stecken Sie den Fernsteuerstecker ein.
Leiten Sie das Fernsteuerkabel nicht über den Griff des Camcorders.
Bei den folgenden Modellen muss der Fernsteuerstecker fest in die
LANC-Buchse oder die Fernsteuerbuchse und der Mikrofonstecker

1 Quite el filtro, el objetivo de conversión, la tapa del objetivo, o la
correa para el hombro de la videocámara.

Inserte un disco.
Desbloquee la lengüeta de seguridad del “Memory Stick Duo” y del
videocasete, y déjelos para que puedan grabarse.
Cerciórese de que el videocasete, el “Memory Stick Duo”, y el disco tengan
espacio suficiente para grabar.
Cerciórese de que el disco no esté finalizado.
4 Fije el anillo de prevención de reflejos en la rosca para fijación de
filtros.
5 Gire el panel LCD y repliéguelo hacia la videocámara con la
pantalla LCD encarada hacia fuera.
6 Ajuste las funciones, tales como enfoque e iluminación a AUTO.
A Selección de la zapata de montaje de la
videocámara
1 Elija la zapata de montaje y el número de acuerdo con la tabla
siguiente.
2 Alinee la placa roscada para trípode con el número elegido en la
zapata de montaje y presione dicha placa hasta que chasquee en
su lugar.
Al salir de fábrica, la placa roscada par trípode está fijada en la posición 1 de la
zapata de montaje A.
B Instalación de la videocámara
Ponga el selector de alimentación de la videocámara en “OFF (CHG)”, y deje el
selector POWER del portacámara deportivo en “OFF”.
1 Fije la zapata de montaje de la videocámara.
Alinee la posición roscada de la zapata de montaje con la rosca para trípode
de la parte inferior de la videocámara.
Utilice las partes metálicas de la correa para el hombro, como se muestra en la
ilustración.
2 Abra las hebillas.
1 Manteniendo deslizado el botón de desbloqueo en el sentido de la flecha,
deslice la corredera abierta y abra la hebilla.
2 Abra la parte posterior del cuerpo.
3 Recubra el vidrio frontal con solución antiniebla para objetivos.
Aplique 2 o 3 gotas de la solución antiniebla para objetivos suministrada en la
superficie interior del vidrio frontal del portacámara deportivo.
4 Elimine las materias extrañas, tales como polvo, arena, o pelos,
de la junta tórica, la ranura, y cualquier superficie que toque.
Después, engrase uniformemente la junta tórica.
Si cerrase el cuerpo con tales materias presentes, estas áreas podrían dañarse y
provocar la infiltración de agua.
5Conecte las clavijas a las tomas de la videocámara.
Dependiendo de su videocámara, inserte firmemente la clavija de control
remoto en la toma
LANC o la toma de control remoto, y la clavija de audio
en la toma A/V.

1 Conecte la clavija de control remoto.

No coloque la clavija de control remoto sobre la empuñadura de la
videocámara.
Cuando utilice los modelos siguientes, inserte firmemente la clavija
de control remoto en la toma LANC y la clavija del micrófono en la
toma MIC (PLUG IN POWER), después de haber realizado los pasos
siguientes.
Cuando utilice los modelos DCR-HC40/HC30/HC20/HC18/HC16/
DVD201/DVD101/DVD91 (Consulte la ilustración B-5-D)
1 Quite la clavija del micrófono del soporte de la misma, y después quite el
cable del gancho.
2 Quite la clavija de audio del soporte del cable y fíjelo al soporte de la
clavija, después enganche el cable en el gancho y dispóngalo en la parte
frontal dentro de la pared del portacámara deportivo, como se muestra en
la ilustración.
3 Coloque juntas la clavija del micrófono y la clavija de control remoto
completamente extendidas, y después fíjelas al pequeño orificio del soporte
del cable de la clavija del micrófono.

1 Conecte la clavija de control remoto.

1 Conecte la clavija del micrófono a la toma MIC (PLUG IN POWER) y

la videocámara.
2 Conecte la clavija en la toma de control remoto.
Nota
Cerciórese de que las dos clavijas hayan quedado firmemente conectadas.
6 Instale la videocámara.
Alinee la zapata de montaje de la videocámara con la guía de la mitad frontal
del cuerpo.
Inserte la videocámara empujando la parte trasera de la zapata de montaje de
la misma hasta que chasquee. Compruebe el mando de la parte derecha de la
zapata de montaje de la videocámara para asegurarse de que haya quedado
adecuadamente bloqueado. Renga cuidado de no pillar los cables.

Utilisez les pièces métalliques de la bandoulière comme indiqué dans
l’illustration.
2 Relâchez la sangle.
1 Maintenez le bouton de déverrouillage vers le bas comme indiqué par la
flèche, tirez sur le fermoir et relâchez la sangle.
2 Ouvrez la partie arrière du caisson.
3 Appliquez du liquide antibuée sur le verre avant du caisson.
Appliquez 2 ou 3 gouttes de liquide antibuée fourni sur la face interne du
verre avant du caisson.
4 Enlevez les matières étrangères telles que la poussière, le sable
ou des cheveux du joint torique, de la rainure et de toute surface
en contact. Graissez ensuite uniformément le joint torique.
Si vous fermez le caisson sans ce nettoyage préalable, ces éléments risquent
d’être endommagés et de laisser l’eau s’infiltrer.
5 Raccordez les fiches à chaque prise du caméscope.
Selon votre caméscope, insérez à fond la fiche de la télécommande dans la
prise LANC ou la prise de la télécommande et la fiche audio dans la prise
A/V.
Lors de l’utilisation de DCR-HC90 (voir l’illustration B-5-A)
1 Raccordez la fiche de la télécommande.
2 Raccordez la fiche audio.
3 Disposez le câble comme indiqué dans l’illustration.
Lors de l’utilisation de l’un des modèles suivants : DCR-HC43/HC42/
HC39/HC33/HC32/HC22/HC21/HC19/HC17 (voir l’illustration B-5-B)
1 Raccordez la fiche de la télécommande.

HC20/HC18/HC16/DVD201/DVD101/DVD91 (voir l’illustration B-5-D)
1 Retirez la fiche de microphone du support de fiche, puis décrochez le câble.
2 Retirez la fiche audio du support de cordon et attachez-la au support de
fiche, puis accrochez le câble au crochet et rangez-le dans la paroi de la
partie frontale du caisson, comme indiqué dans l’illustration.
3 Regroupez la fiche de la télécommande et la fiche de microphone
entièrement déployées, puis attachez-les au petit orifice du support de
cordon de la fiche de microphone.
Lors de l’utilisation de l’un des modèles suivants : DCR-HC40/HC30/
HC20/HC18/HC16 (voir l’illustration B-5-E)
1 Raccordez la fiche de la télécommande.
2 Raccordez la fiche audio.
3 Disposez la prise et le câble comme indiqué dans l’illustration.
Lors de l’utilisation de l’un des modèles suivants : DCR-DVD201/
DVD101/DVD91 (voir l’illustration B-5-F)
1 Raccordez la fiche de microphone à la prise MIC (PLUG IN POWER) et
déplacez la fiche de télécommande vers le logement de disque du
caméscope.
2 Raccordez la fiche de la télécommande à sa prise.
Remarque
Assurez-vous que les branchements tiennent bien.
6Installation du caméscope.
Alignez le sabot du caméscope sur le guide qui se trouve dans la partie avant
du caisson.
Introduisez le caméscope en poussant l’arrière du sabot jusqu’à ce qu’il
s’encliquette. Vérifiez que le bouton à droite du sabot du caméscope est
correctement verrouillé. Ce faisant, faites attention de ne pas coincer les
cordons.
Assurez-vous qu’aucune des fiches raccordées au caméscope ne touche des
pièces à l’intérieur du caisson. Prenez soin de ne pas coincer les cordons dans
la sangle du caméscope.
Remarque
Veillez à tenir le caméscope à l’horizontale lorsque vous l’installez.
Son insertion à la verticale dans le caisson peut endommager le sabot de
montage et la partie avant du caisson.
7 Fermez la partie arrière du caisson.
Tenez bien le boîtier du caisson et encliquetez la sangle.
Remarques
• Veillez à ne pas coincer les cordons lorsque vous fermez la partie arrière du
caisson.
• Lorsque le caméscope est dans le caisson, l’objectif peut être décentré par
rapport à la vitre avant du caisson.
L’enregistrement s’effectue toutefois sans problème.
C Préparation du caisson
1Réglez la sangle.
Tenez le caisson de telle sorte que le bout de vos doigts puissent facilement
atteindre les touches START/STOP, Télé, Grand angle et PHOTO, puis réglez
la longueur de la sangle.
2 Fixez la bandoulière.
fest in die MIC (PLUG IN POWER)-Buchse eingesteckt werden,

Bei Verwendung der DCR-HC40/HC30/HC20/HC18/HC16/DVD201/
DVD101/DVD91 (siehe Abbildung B-5-D)
1 Trennen Sie den Mikrofonstecker vom Steckerhalter und das Kabel vom
Haken ab.
2 Trennen Sie den Audiostecker vom Kabelhalter ab und bringen Sie ihn am
Steckerhalter an. Befestigen Sie das Kabel dann am Haken und verlegen Sie
es wie in der Abbildung gezeigt vorne an der Gehäusewand.
3 Verlegen Sie das auf volle Länge ausgebreitete Mikrofonkabel und
Fernsteuerkabel zusammen und befestigen Sie sie an der kleinen Öffnung
des Mikrofonsteckerhalters.
Bei Verwendung der DCR-HC40/HC30/HC20/HC18/HC16 (siehe
Abbildung B-5-E)
1 Stecken Sie den Fernsteuerstecker ein.
2 Stecken Sie den Audiostecker ein.
3 Richten Sie Stecker und Kabel wie in der Abbildung gezeigt aus.
Bei Verwendung der DCR-DVD201/DVD101/DVD91 (siehe Abbildung
B-5-F)
1 Stecken Sie den Mikrofonstecker in die MIC (PLUG IN POWER)-Buchse
und bewegen Sie Fernsteuerstecker in Richtung der Discabdeckung des
Cmcorders.
2 Stecken Sie den Fernsteuerstecker in die Fernsteuerbuchse.
Hinweis
Achten Sie darauf, dass beide Stecker fest eingesteckt sind.
6 Setzen Sie den Camcorder ein.
Richten Sie den Kameramontageschuh auf die Führung am vorderen
Gehäuseteil aus.
Setzen Sie den Camcorder ein, indem Sie hinten auf den
Kameramontageschuh drücken, bis er einrastet. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass
der Knopf rechts am Kameramontageschuh richtig eingerastet ist. Achten Sie
sorgfältig darauf, keine Kabel einzuklemmen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die in den Camcorder eingesteckten Stecker keine
Teile im Sports Pack berühren und dass keine Kabel im Griffband des
Camcorders eingeklemmt werden.
Hinweis
Halten Sie den Camcorder waagerecht, wenn Sie ihn einsetzen.
Wird er beim Einsetzen in das vordere Gehäuseteil senkrecht gehalten, kann
der Kameramontageschuh und das vordere Gehäuseteil beschädigt werden.
7 Klappen Sie das hintere Gehäuseteil zu.
Schließen Sie dann die Schnallen, so dass sie einrasten.
Hinweise
• Achten Sie beim Zuklappen des hinteren Gehäuseteils sorgfältig darauf,
keine Kabel einzuklemmen.
• Die Mitte des in das Sports Pack eingesetzten Camcorderobjektivs stimmt
möglicherweise nicht mit der Mitte des Frontglases überein.
Dies hat jedoch keinen Einfluss auf die Aufnahme.
C Vorbereiten des Sports Pack
1 Stellen Sie das Griffband ein.
Fassen Sie das Sports Pack so, dass Sie die START/STOP-Taste, Teletaste,
Weitwinkeltaste und PHOTO-Taste bequem mit Ihren Fingern bedienen
können, und stellen Sie dann die Bandlänge ein.
2 Stellen Sie den Schulterriemen ein.
Cerciórese de que las clavijas conectadas a la videocámara no toquen ninguna
parte interior del portacámara deportivo. Tenga cuidado de no pillar los
cables con la correa para el hombro de la videocámara.
Nota
Tenga cuidado de mantener la videocámara horizontal cuando la instale.
La inserción vertical de la videocámara en la mitad frontal del cuerpo podría
dañar la zapata de montaje de la videocámara y dicha mitad frontal del

Esto no causará problemas en la videfilmación.
C Preparación del portacámara deportivo
1Ajuste la correa de la empuñadura.
Sujetando el portacámara deportivo de forma que las puntas de sus dedos
puedan tocar fácilmente el botón START/STOP, el botón de telefoto, el botón
de gran angular, y el botón PHOTO, ajuste la longitud de la correa.
2 Fije la correa para el hombro.

De videocamera voorbereiden
Raadpleeg de gebruiksaanwijzing bij de videocamera voor meer informatie.
1 Verwijder het filter, de voorzetlens, de lensdop en de
schouderband van de videocamera.
Bij de modellen DCR-HC43/HC42/HC40/HC39/HC33/HC32/HC30/
HC22/HC21/HC20/HC19/HC18/HC17/HC16 moet de sluiter van de lens
worden geopend.
2 Plaats de accu.
Plaats een accu die volledig is opgeladen.
3 Plaats het opnamemedium.
Bij gebruik van de DCR-HC90/HC43/HC42/HC40/HC39/HC33/HC32/
HC30/HC22/HC21/HC20/HC19/HC18/HC17/HC16
Plaats een band en een "Memory Stick Duo".
Bij gebruik van de DCR-DVD803/DVD703/DVD653/DVD602/DVD403/
DVD203/DVD202/DVD201/DVD103/DVD101/DVD92/DVD91
Plaats een disc.
Ontgrendel het wispreventienokje op de "Memory Stick Duo" en de band
zodat er beelden kunnen worden opgenomen.
Controleer of de band, de "Memory Stick Duo" en de disc voldoende ruimte
hebben voor de opnamen.
Zorg dat de disc niet is gefinaliseerd.
4Draai de antireflectiering op de bevestigingsschroef voor filters
van de videocamera.
5 Draai het LCD-scherm om en plaats het scherm weer tegen de
videocamera met het LCD-scherm naar buiten gekeerd.
6 Stel de functies, zoals scherpstelling en belichting, in op AUTO.
A De cameramontageschoen selecteren
1 Kies de montageschoen en het nummer aan de hand van de
volgende tabel.
2 Lijn de statiefschroefplaat uit met het gekozen nummer op de
montageschoen en druk op de statiefschroefplaat tot deze
vastklikt.
Bij aflevering is de statiefschroefplaat standaard bevestigd in de positie met
nummer 1 op montageschoen A.
B De videocamera installeren
Zet de POWER schakelaar van de videocamera op "OFF (CHG)" en laat de
POWER schakelaar van de sportbehuizing op "OFF" staan.
1 Bevestig de cameramontageschoen.
Lijn de schroefpositie van de montageschoen uit met de statiefschroef aan de
onderkant van de videocamera.
Gebruik de metalen onderdelen van de schouderband zoals in de afbeelding
wordt weergegeven.
2 Maak de sluitklemmen los.
1 Houd de ontgrendelknop in de richting van de pijl geschoven, verschuif de
ontgrendelde schakelaar en maak de sluitklem los.
2 Open de achterkant van de behuizing.
3 Smeer het glas aan de voorkant in met vloeistof tegen het
beslaan van de lens.
U hoeft maar 2 of 3 druppels van de bijgeleverde vloeistof tegen het beslaan
van de lens aan te brengen op de binnenkant van het glas aan de voorkant van
de sportbehuizing.
4 Verwijder stof, zand, haren en dergelijke van de O-ring, de groef
en alle oppervlakken waarmee de O-ring in contact komt.
Verdeel het vet vervolgens gelijkmatig over de O-ring.
Als u de behuizing sluit terwijl er nog vuil aanwezig is, kunnen deze
onderdelen worden beschadigd en kan er water in de behuizing lekken.
5 Sluit de stekkers aan op de aansluitingen van de videocamera.
Afhankelijk van de videocamera sluit u de afstandsbedieningsstekker goed
aan op de LANC-aansluiting of de afstandsbedieningsaansluiting en de
audiostekker op de A/V-aansluiting.
Bij gebruik van de DCR-HC90 (zie afbeelding B-5-A)
1 Sluit de afstandsbedieningsstekker aan.
2 Sluit de audiostekker aan.
3 Rangschik de kabel zoals in de afbeelding wordt weergegeven.
Bij gebruik van de DCR-HC43/HC42/HC39/HC33/HC32/HC22/HC21/
HC19/HC17 (zie afbeelding B-5-B)
1 Sluit de afstandsbedieningsstekker aan.
2 Sluit de audiostekker aan.
3 Rangschik de kabel zoals in de afbeelding wordt weergegeven.
Bij gebruik van de DCR-DVD803/DVD703/DVD653/DVD602/DVD403/
DVD203/DVD202/DVD103/DVD92 (zie afbeelding B-5-C)
1 Sluit de audiostekker aan.
Duw de klep voor de audiostekker naar beneden zodat deze niet voor de
audiostekker terechtkomt.
2 Sluit de afstandsbedieningsstekker aan.
Plaats de afstandsbedieningsstekker niet over de handgreep van de
videocamera.
Als u een van de volgende modellen gebruikt, moet u de
afstandsbedieningsstekker goed aansluiten op de
LANC-
aansluiting of de afstandsbedieningsaansluiting en de
microfoonstekker op de MIC (PLUG IN POWER) aansluiting nadat u
de volgende procedure hebt uitgevoerd.
Bij gebruik van de DCR-HC40/HC30/HC20/HC18/HC16/DVD201/
DVD101/DVD91 (zie afbeelding B-5-D)
1 Verwijder de microfoonstekker uit de stekkerhouder en haal de kabel van
het haakje.
2 Verwijder de audiostekker uit de kabelhouder en bevestig deze op de
stekkerhouder. Plaats de kabel over het haakje en rangschik de kabel aan
de zijkant in het voorste gedeelte van de sportbehuizing, zoals in de
afbeelding wordt weergegeven.
3 Bundel de volledig uitgetrokken microfoonstekker en de
afstandsbedieningsstekker bij elkaar en maak deze vast in de kleine
opening van de kabelhouder van de microfoonstekker.
Bij gebruik van de DCR-HC40/HC30/HC20/HC18/HC16 (zie afbeelding
B-5-E)
1 Sluit de afstandsbedieningsstekker aan.
2 Sluit de audiostekker aan.
3 Rangschik de aansluiting en de kabel in de richting die in de afbeelding
wordt weergegeven.
Bij gebruik van de DCR-DVD201/DVD101/DVD91 (zie afbeelding B-
5-F)
1 Sluit de microfoonstekker aan op de MIC (PLUG IN POWER) aansluiting
en verplaats de afstandsbedieningstekker in de richting van de dischouder
van de videocamera.
2 Sluit de afstandsbedieningsstekker aan op de
afstandsbedieningsaansluiting.
Opmerking
Zorg dat beide stekkers stevig zijn aangesloten.
6 Installeer de videocamera.
Lijn de cameramontageschoen uit met de geleider aan de voorkant van de
behuizing.
Plaats de videocamera in de behuizing door tegen de achterkant van de
cameramontageschoen te duwen tot deze vastklikt. Controleer de knop aan de
rechterkant van de cameramontageschoen om te zien of de
cameramontageschoen goed is vergrendeld. Wees voorzichtig en zorg ervoor
dat de kabels niet beklemd raken.
Let op dat de stekkers die op de videocamera zijn aangesloten, niet in contact
komen met delen aan de binnenkant van de sportbehuizing. Zorg ervoor dat
de kabels niet beklemd raken in de handgreepband van de videocamera.
Opmerking
Houd de videocamera horizontaal tijdens de installatie.
Als u de videocamera verticaal in de voorkant van de behuizing plaatst,
kunnen de cameramontageschoen en de voorkant van de behuizing worden
beschadigd.
7 Sluit de achterkant van de behuizing.
Maak de achterkant van de behuizing vast en bevestig de sluitklemmen tot
deze vastklikken.
Opmerkingen
• Let op dat de kabels niet beklemd raken als u de achterkant van de
behuizing sluit.
• Wanneer u de videocamera in de sportbehuizing plaatst, kan het midden
van de lens verschuiven ten opzichte van het glas aan de voorkant van de
sportbehuizing.
Dit veroorzaakt echter geen problemen bij het opnemen.
C De sportbehuizing voorbereiden
1 Pas de handgreepband aan.
Houd de sportbehuizing zo vast dat u gemakkelijk met uw vinger de START/
STOP toets, Tele toets, Wide toets en PHOTO toets kunt aanraken en pas
vervolgens de lengte van de handgreepband aan.
2 Bevestig de schouderband.

Insert a disc.
Unlock the safety tab on the “Memory Stick Duo” and the cassette tape, and
make them possible to record images.
Be sure that the tape, the “Memory Stick Duo” and the disc have enough
space to record images.
Be sure that the disc is not finalized.
4 Attach the reflex prevention ring to the filter attachment screw
of the video camera recorder.
5 Turn the LCD panel over and move back to the video camera
recorder with the LCD screen facing out.
6 Set the functions, such as focusing and lightning, to AUTO.
A Selecting the Camera Mounting Shoe
1 Choose the mounting shoe and the number according to the
table below.
2 Align the tripod screw plate with the chosen number on the
mounting shoe and press the tripod screw plate until it clicks
into place.
On leaving the factory, the tripod screw plate is attached in the number 1
position on mounting shoe A.
B Installing the Video Camera Recorder
Turn the POWER switch of the video camera recorder to “OFF (CHG),” and
leave the POWER switch of the sports pack “OFF.”
1 Attach the camera mounting shoe.
Align the screw position of the mounting shoe with the tripod screw on the
bottom of the video camera recorder.
Use the metal parts of shoulder strap as shown in the illustration.
2 Release the buckles.
1 Keep sliding the unlock button in the direction of the arrow, slide the open
slider and release the buckle.
2 Open the rear body.
3 Coat the front glass with anti-fogging lens solution.
Apply 2 to 3 drops of the anti-fogging lens solution provided onto the inside
surface of the front glass of the sports pack.
4 Remove foreign materials such as dust, sand or hair from the O-
ring, the groove and any surface it touches. Then, put the grease
evenly on the O-ring.
If the body is closed with such materials present, these areas may be damaged
and water may leak in.
5 Connect the plugs to the each jacks of the video camera
recorder.
Depending on your video camera recorder, firmly insert the remote plug into
LANC jack or remote jack and the audio plug into the A/V jack.
When using DCR-HC90 (See illustration B-5-A)
1 Connect the remote plug.
2 Connect the audio plug.
3 Set the cable as illustrated.
When using DCR-HC43/HC42/HC39/HC33/HC32/HC22/HC21/HC19/
HC17 (See illustration B-5-B)
1 Connect the remote plug.
2 Connect the audio plug.
3 Thread the cable through as illustrated.

1 Connect the audio plug.
Put the plug cover into the bottom of the audio plug so that it does not
come out before the audio plug.
2 Connect the remote plug.
Do not place the remote plug over the grip of the video camera recorder.
If you use the following models, firmly insert the remote plug into
LANC jack or remote jack and the microphone plug into the MIC
(PLUG IN POWER) jack, after carry out the following steps.
When using DCR-HC40/HC30/HC20/HC18/HC16/DVD201/DVD101/
DVD91 (See illlustration B-5-D)
1 Remove the microphone plug from the plug holder, then remove the cable
from the hook.
2 Remove the audio plug from the cord holder and attach it to the plug
holder, then hook the cable onto the hook and arrange it in the front part
inside wall of the sports pack as illustrated.
3 Position the fully extended microphone plug and remote plug together,
and attach them to the small hole of the microphone plug cord holder.
When using DCR-HC40/HC30/HC20/HC18/HC16
(See illustration B-5-E)
1 Connect the remote plug.
2 Connect the microphone plug.
3 Set the jack and cable in the direction as illustrated.
When using DCR-DVD201/DVD101/DVD91
(See illustration B-5-F)
1 Connect the microphone plug to the MIC (PLUG IN POWER) jack and
move the remote plug in the direction of the disc cover of the video camera
recorder.
2 Connect the remote plug to the remote jack.
Note
Be sure that both plugs are connected firmly.
6 Installing the video camera recorder.
Align the camera mounting shoe with the guide on the front body.
Insert the video camera recorder by pushing the rear of the camera mounting
shoe until it clicks. Check the knob on the right side of the camera mounting
shoe to ensure that it locked properly. Be careful not to pinch the cords then.
Be sure that the plugs connected to the video camera recorder do not touch
any parts inside the sports pack. Be careful not to pinch the cords in the grip
strap of the video camera recorder.
Note
Be sure to keep the video camera recorder horizontal when installing it.
Inserting the video camera recorder into the front body vertically may damage
the camera mounting shoe and the front body.
7 Close the rear body.
Then secure the rear body, and fasten the buckles until they click.
Notes
• Be careful not to pinch the cords when closing the rear body.
• When the video camera recorder is put into the sports pack, the center of the
lens may shift with respect to the front glass of the sports pack.
This will cause no problems when recording.
C Preparing the Sports Pack
1 Adjust the grip strap.
Holding the sports pack so that the tips of your finger can easily touch the
START/STOP button, Telephoto button, Wide button and PHOTO button,
adjust its length.
2 Attach the shoulder strap.
