Introduction
Display QuicKit is a software utility that helps to update BenQ monitor’s rmware easily.
An updated rmware helps to improve a monitor’s stability and compatibility, though it
erases all the customized settings and resets the monitor.
Note that not all BenQ monitors work with this software utility. It checks the compatibility
of your monitor automatically once launched.
Warnings
When performing rmware update, pay attention to the following:
• Always use the utility provided by BenQ and follow the procedures described in this
document to complete the rmware update.
• Keep stable power supply to the product until the update is complete. Do not remove
the power adapter (if supplied) or disconnect the power cord and the cables.
• Do not power off the monitor.
• Connect only one video source to the monitor. See “Connections” on 4 for the con-
nections.
• You can update the rmware of one monitor at a time. If you have multiple monitors
connected to your computer, keep one monitor and disconnect others rst. Take turns
until all monitors are updated.
Failure to follow these warnings will result in rmware update failure and possible damage to the
product.

• MacOS 12 or above (Software availability varies by monitor model. Check if a
Mac version of software is available from Support.BenQ.com > model name >
Software & Driver.)

Connections
Available video input ports vary by model. To perform a rmware update, connect your
monitor to a computer as instructed below.
• If your video source is DP or HDMI, connect a USB type A to type B cable to your moni-
tor and the computer.
• If your video source is USB-C™ or Thunderbolt 3, no other USB connection between your
monitor and the computer is required.

If your Mac device is Silicon based with M1/M2 chip, connect you Mac and the monitor via USB-C or
DisplayPort cable because the Mac can’t support DCC/CI command via HDMI.

Downloading and launching
Display QuicKit
1. Before you start, disable the power saving function of your computer and the monitor.
And keep only one monitor connected to your computer.
2. Download Display QuicKit from the BenQ website. Keep your computer connected to
the Internet during the rmware update process, as the computer needs to access the
rmware les on the BenQ cloud server.
3. Unzip the downloaded le and double-click the Display QuicKit.exe le. Once the soft-
ware utility is installed, you can double-click the icon from your computer desktop
to launch the utility again.
4. The utility checks if there is an update. You are recommended to update the utility to
the latest version.
If the download failed, disable your anti-virus software and try again.

Updating the monitor rmware
1. The utility checks the compatibility of your monitor once launched. If your monitor is
supported, the screen shows the monitor model and its current rmware version. If you
are requested to change the server location, select one from the drop-down list, or con-
tact customer service for more information.
2. The utility checks if a new rmware version is available. Read the on-screen messages
and proceed by clicking Update.
3. A progress bar is displayed. It takes about 10 minutes to complete the update.

4. Once the rmware update is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to reboot your
monitor.

下載和啟動 Display QuicKit

下载和启动 Display QuicKit
1. 开始前请先禁用电脑的省电功能。仅保留一台显示器连接到电脑。
2. 从 BenQ 网站下载 Display QuicKit。在固件更新过程中，保持电脑连接到 Internet，因为

Display QuicKit は、BenQ モニタのファームウェアを簡単に更新するのに便利です。更新
されたファームウェアを使用すると、モニタの安定性と互換性が向上します。ただし、カ
スタマイズした設定すべてが消去され、モニタもリセットされます。
BenQ モニタの中には、このソフトウェアユーティリティに対応しないものもあります。
モニタの互換性、モニタ起動時に自動的にチェックされます。
警告
ファームウェアの更新を行う間は、以下の点にご注意ください：
• 必ず BenQ が提供するユーティリティをお使いになり、本書に記載される手順に従っ
てファームウェアの更新を完了してください。
• 更新が完了するまでは、安定した電力供給を維持してください。電源アダプタ（付属
している場合）や、電源コード、ケーブルは外さないでください。
• モニタの電源を切らないでください。
• ビデオ入力源は 1 つだけモニタに接続します。接続については、19 ページの「接
続」をお読みください。
• 一度に 1 台のモニタのファームウェアしか更新できません。複数のモニタがコンピュ
ータに接続されている場合は、1 台だけ残して他は接続を切ってください。すべてのモ
ニタで更新が完了するまで、1 台ずつ行ってください。
これらの警告にしたがわなければファームウェアの更新ができず、製品の故障の原因となります。

接続
有効なビデオ入力ポートは、モデル毎に異なります。ファームウェアの更新を行うには、
下記の手順でモニタとコンピュータを接続します。
• ビデオ入力源が DP または HDMI の場合は、USB type A から type B 変換ケーブルでモ
ニタとコンピュータを接続します。
• ビデオ入力源が USB-C™ か Thunderbolt 3 の場合は、モニタとコンピュータで別の USB
接続を行う必要はありません。

Display QuicKit のダウンロ ードと起 動
1. 作業を始める前に、コンピュータとモニタの省エネ機能を無効にしてください。そし
て、1 台のモニタだけコンピュータに接続したままにしてください。
2. Display QuicKit を BenQ ウェブサイトからダウンロードします。BenQ クラウドサーバ
ーからファームウェアファイルにアクセスする必要があるため、ファームウェアを更
新している間はコンピュータをインターネットに接続したままにします。
3. ダウンロード済みのファイルを解凍し、Display QuicKit.exe ファイルをダブルクリック
します。ソフトウェアユーティリティがインストールされたら、コンピュータのデス
クトップから アイコンをダブルクリックして、再度ユーティリティを起動します。
4. 更新があるかどうかをユーティリティがチェックします。ユーティリティは最新版に
更新することをお勧めします。
ダウンロードできない場合は、ウイルス対策ソフトウェアを無効にしてからやり直してください。
