Addition of the auto power-off
function and operation of the STANDBY switch
The auto power-off function has been added to prevent the ToneLab ST
from being le on. Therefore, the STANDBY switch operates as described
below. (Refer to “Rear panel” on page 7 of the Owner’s Manual.)
Turning on/o the ToneLab ST
To turn on the ToneLab ST, slide the STANDBY switch
toward the
mark and hold it there for about 1 second,
until the Program (value) display lights up.
The vacuum tube may light up when the STANDBY
switch is operated, but the machine is not turned on
yet.
To turn o the ToneLab ST aer it has been turned on,
slide the STANDBY switch toward the
mark again and hold it there
for about 1 second, until the Program (value) display goes dark.
Auto Power-O function
With this function, the ToneLab ST is automatically turned o if no op-
eration is performed for about 1 hour.
If the auto power-off function is activated, power will not be restored
even if a switch or pedal is used. Turn the power on again. The Auto
Power-O function is enabled as the factory default.
If there is a signal at the INPUT jack or if the ToneLab ST is connected
to a computer with a USB cable, the auto power-o function will not
be activated, even if no operation is performed.
Disabling the auto power-o function
While holding down the UP pedal, turn the power on.
Aer “AP” is indicated, the Program (value) display will indicate “dS.”
Enabling the auto power-o function
While holding down the DOWN pedal, turn the power on.
Aer “AP” is indicated, the Program (value) display will indicate “En.”
The seing to enable or disable the auto power-o function is saved
even when the power is turned o.

Die Energiesparfunktion wurde hinzugefügt, um zu verhindern, dass das ToneLab ST
versehentli eingesaltet bleibt. Die Bedienung des STANDBY-Salters erfolgt wie

Das ToneLab ST ein-/aussalten
Einschalten des ToneLab ST: Schiebe den STANDBY-Schalters in
Ritung
-Markierung und halte ihn für ungefähr 1 Sekunde in
dieser Position, bis das Display (Speiernummer/Wert) aueutet.
Obwohl die Vakuumröhre bei der Betätigung des STANDBY-
Schalters aufleuchten kann, ist das Gerät noch nicht einge-
saltet.
Aussalten des ToneLab ST: Siebe den STANDBY-Salters erneut in Ritung
-Markierung und halte ihn für ungefähr 1 Sekunde in dieser Position, bis si das
Display (Speiernummer/Wert) verdunkelt.
Energiesparfunktion
Mithilfe dieser Funktion wird das ToneLab ST automatis ausgesaltet, wenn in-
nerhalb von 1 Stunde keine Bedienung erfolgt.
Wenn die Energiesparfunktion aktiviert ist, wird das Gerät auch bei Verwendung
eines Salters oder Pedals nit wieder eingesaltet. Das Gerät muss in diesem Fall
wieder manuell eingesaltet werden. Die Aktivierung der Energiesparfunktion ist
ab Werk voreingestellt.
Wenn an der INPUT-Buse ein Signal eingeht oder das ToneLab ST über ein USB-
Kabel mit einem Computer verbunden ist, wird die Energiesparfunktion auch
dann nit aktiviert, wenn keine Bedienung erfolgt.
Deaktivieren der Energiesparfunktion
Halte die UP-Fußtaste gedrüt und salte dabei das Gerät ein.
Das Display (Speiernummer/Wert) zeigt „AP“, dann „dS“ an.

Das Display (Speiernummer/Wert) zeigt „AP“, dann „En“ an.
Der Status der Energiesparfunktion (an oder aus) wird beim Aussalten des Ge-
räts automatis gespeiert.
Ajout de la fonction de coupure

Une fonction de coupure automatique d’alimentation a été ajoutée an d’éviter de laisser
le ToneLab ST inutilement sous tension. Le fonctionnement du commutateur STANDBY
est décrit ci-dessous. (Voyez “Panneau arrière” à la page 7 du Mode d’emploi.)
Mise sous tension/hors tension du ToneLab ST
Pour mettre le ToneLab ST sous tension, glissez son commu-
tateur STANDBY vers le repère
et maintenez-le dans cette
position pendant environ 1 seconde, jusqu’à ce que l’achage du
programme(de la valeur) s’allume.
La lampe pourrait s’allumer quand vous manipulez le com-
mutateur STANDBY, mais le multi-eets n’est pas encore sous
tension.
Pour mere le ToneLab ST hors tension, glissez à nouveau son commutateur STAND-
BY vers le repère
et maintenez-le dans cee position pendant environ 1 seconde,
jusqu’à ce l’achage du programme (de la valeur) s’éteigne.
Coupure automatique d’alimentation
Cee fonction coupe automatiquement l’alimentation du ToneLab ST quand vous n’ef-
fectuez aucune opération pendant environ 1 heure.
Une fois la coupure automatique d’alimentation effectuée, vous ne pouvez pas re-
mere le multi-eets en manipulant une commande ou une pédale. Meez à nouveau
l’appareil sous tension. La fonction de coupure automatique d’alimentation a été acti-
vée à la sortie d’usine.
Si le ToneLab ST reçoit un signal via sa prise INPUT ou est connecté à un ordina-
teur avec un câble USB, la fonction de coupure automatique d’alimentation ne sera
pas activée, cela même si vous n’utilisez pas le multi-eets.
Désactiver la coupure automatique d’alimentation
Meez le multi-eets sous tension tout en maintenant enfoncés sa pédale UP.
L’achage du programme (de la valeur) indique “AP”, puis “dS”.

本機は新たに電源の切り忘れを防ぐオート・パワー・オフ機能を追加しまし
た。これにともない、スタンバイ・スイッチの使い方が下記のようになりま
す（取扱説明書、7ページ｢リア・パネル」参照）。
電源を入れる、切るときは
スタンバイ・スイッチの
マークが付いている側を、プ
ログラム（バリュー）・ディスプレイが点灯するまで約1秒
押し続けると電源が入ります。
スタンバイ・スイッチを押した時点で真空管が点灯し
ますが、この時点ではまだ電源は入っていません。
電源が入っているときに、もう一度スタンバイ・スイッチの
マークが付
いている側を、プログラム（バリュー）・ディスプレイが消灯するまで約1
秒押し続けると電源が切れます。
オート･パワー ･オフ機能
この機能は、本機を操作しない状態が約1時間続くと、自動的に電源が切
れる機能です。電源が切れると、スイッチやペダルなどを操作しても復
帰しません。電源を入れ直してください。なお、工場出荷時はオート･パ
ワー・オフ機能が有効に設定されています。
本機の操作をしなくても、INPUT端子に信号が入力されている状態
や、USBケーブルでコンピューターと接続している場合は、オート･
パワー ･オフ機能は動作しません。
オート･パワー ･オフ機能を無効にするには
UPペダルを押しながら、電源を入れるとプログラム（バリュー）・ディス
プレイに「AP」と表示した後に「dS」と表示されオート・パワー・オフが無
効になります。

DOWNペダルを押しながら、電源を入れるとプログラム（バリュー）・ディ
スプレイに「AP」と表示した後に「En」と表示されオート・パワー・オフが
有効になります。
オート･パワー ･オフ機能の有効/ 無効の設定は、電源を切っても保存
されます。
