compliance with whatever regulations for
their safe disposal that may be observed in
the region in which you live.
Handle leaking batteries carefully
• Do not touch the liquid with
your bare hands.
• If any of the leaking uid gets
into your eyes, the loss of vision
may result. Do not rub your eyes;
use clean water to ush them
thoroughly. Then, promptly see
a doctor.
• Burning of the skin or dermatitis may result
if uid has gotten onto your skin or clothing.
Use clean water to ush a ected areas
thoroughly; then, promptly see a doctor.
• Using a soft cloth, carefully wipe any
remaining uid from the inside of the
battery compartment. Then, install new
batteries.

Power Supply: Use of Batteries
• Before installing/removing batteries,
make sure to turn o the power to this
unit and disconnect all connections to
other devices.
• The life of the supplied batteries may be
limited, since its primary purpose was to
enable testing.
If operating this unit on batteries, please
use alkaline batteries.
Placement
• Using the unit near power ampli ers
(or other equipment containing large
power transformers) may induce hum.
To alleviate the problem, change the
orientation of this unit; or move it farther
away from the source of interference.
• This unit may interfere with radio and
television reception. Do not use this unit
in the vicinity of such receivers.
• Noise may be produced if wireless
communications devices, such as cell
phones, are operated in the vicinity of
this unit. Such noise could occur when
receiving or initiating a call, or while
conversing. Should you experience such
problems, you should relocate such
wireless devices so they are at a greater
distance from this unit, or switch them o .
• When moved from one location to
another where the temperature and/or
humidity is very di erent, water droplets
(condensation) may form inside the unit.
Damage or malfunction may result if you
attempt to use the unit in this condition.
Therefore, before using the unit, you
must allow it to stand for several hours,
until the condensation has completely
evaporated.
• Do not place containers or anything
else containing liquid on top of this
unit. Also, whenever any liquid has been
spilled on the surface of this unit, be sure
to promptly wipe it away using a soft,
dry cloth.
Maintenance
• Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol
or solvents of any kind, to avoid the

Additional Precautions
• Use a reasonable amount of care when
using the unit’s buttons, sliders, or other

Stromversorgung / Verwendung von

• Die Betriebsdauer der beigefügten
Batterien ist eingeschränkt, da diese für
den Test des Produkts verwendet wurden.
Wenn Sie Batterien verwenden möchten,
benutzen Sie Alkaline-Batterien.
Positionierung
• Die Positionierung in der Nähe
von großen Verstärkern kann
Brummgeräusche zur Folge haben.
Vergrößern Sie in diesem Fall den
Abstand zwischen Instrument und
Verstärker.
• Stellen Sie dieses Gerät nicht in der
direkten Nähe von Fernsehern oder
Radiogeräten auf, da ansonsten deren
Empfang beeinträchtigt werden kann. -
• Schnurlose Telefone und Funktelefone
können, sobald Sie in der Nähe des
Instruments betrieben werden,
Störgeräusche hervorrufen. Betreiben
Sie daher Telefone nicht in der Nähe des
Geräts oder schalten Sie diese aus.
• Wenn das Gerät Temperatur-
unterschieden ausgesetzt war (z.B. nach
einem Transport), warten Sie, bis sich das
Gerät der Raumtemperatur angepasst
hat, bevor Sie es verwenden, ansonsten
können durch Kondensierungs-Flüssigkeit
Schäden verursacht werden.
• Stellen Sie keine Gefäße mit Flüssigkeit
auf das Gerät. Wischen Sie feuchte Stellen
mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch
wieder trocken.
Reinigung
• Verwenden Sie keinesfalls Benzin,
Verdünnung, Alkohol oder ähnliche
Mittel, da die Geräteober äche verfärbt
oder beschädigt werden kann.
Zusätzliche Hinweise
• Behandeln Sie die Bedienelemente des
Geräts mit der notwendigen Sorgfalt.

• Drücken bzw. schlagen Sie nicht auf

ou à l’eau.
• Ne les exposez pas à la lumière
du soleil, des ammes ou toute
autre source de chaleur extrême.
• Ne tentez pas de recharger une
pile à cellule sèche.
Alimentation électrique: utilisation de piles
• Avant d’installer/retirer des piles, veillez à
éteindre l’appareil et débranchez toutes
les connexions aux autres appareils.
• La durée de vie des piles fournies peut
être limitée, leur but principal étant de
permettre les tests.
Si vous utilisez cet appareil sur piles, utilisez
des piles alcalines.
Installation
• Lorsque l’appareil est utilisé à proximité
d’ampli cateurs de puissance (ou de
tout autre équipement contenant
d’importants transformateurs de
puissance), un bourdonnement peut
se faire entendre. Pour atténuer ce
problème, changez l’orientation de
l’appareil ou éloignez-le de la source
d’interférence.
• Cet appareil peut interférer avec la
réception radio et télévision. Ne l’utilisez
pas à proximité de ce type de récepteurs.
• Un bruit peut se faire entendre si des
appareils de communication sans l,
tels que des téléphones cellulaires, sont
utilisés à proximité de l’appareil. Ce bruit
peut se produire lors de la réception ou
de l’émission d’un appel ou pendant
une conversation téléphonique. Lorsque
vous rencontrez ce genre de problèmes,
vous devez soit déplacer les appareils
sans l concernés de façon à les éloigner
su samment de l’appareil, soit les
éteindre.
• En cas de déplacement d’un endroit
vers un autre où la température et/
ou l’humidité sont très di érentes,
des gouttelettes d’eau (condensation)
peuvent se former à l’intérieur de
l’appareil. L’appareil peut alors présenter
des dysfonctionnements ou des
dommages si vous essayez de l’utiliser
dans ces conditions. Avant de vous en
servir, il convient d’attendre quelques
heures, jusqu’à ce que la condensation
soit complètement évaporée.
• Ne placez pas de récipient ou autre objet
contenant du liquide sur cet appareil. Si
jamais du liquide se déverse sur la surface
de l’appareil, essuyez-le rapidement à
l’aide d’un chi on doux et sec.
Entretien
• N’utilisez jamais de benzine, de diluant,
d’alcool ou de solvants a n d’éviter
tout risque de décoloration et/ou de
déformation.
Précautions supplémentaires
• Manipulez avec su samment de
précautions les boutons, curseurs et
autres commandes de l’appareil, ainsi
que les prises et les connecteurs. Une
manipulation trop brutale peut entraîner
des dysfonctionnements.
• Ne frappez jamais l’écran ou ne lui

• Lors du débranchement de tous les
câbles, prenez le connecteur. Ne tirez

• Lorsque vous retournez l’appareil, veillez
