The power supply will be switched on when the plug is inserted into the input (IN) jack. Remove the
plug from the input (IN) jack when not using the unit to prolong the battery life.

When the LED indicator dims, the sound quality will drop remarkably. Replace the battery immedi-
ately.
●
When not using the unit for a long time, remove the battery to avoid damage from battery leakage.
●
When using an AC adapter, use only the IBANEZ AC109, AC309 or AC509 adapter to prevent dam-
age.
●
Don’t remove the screws on the bottom.
Die Stromversorgung wird eingeschaltet, wenn der Stecker in die Eingangsbuchse (IN) gesteckt
wird. Den Stecker von der Eingangsbuchse abziehen, wenn die Einheit nicht verwendet wird, um die
Lebensdauer der Batterie zu verlängern.
Wenn die LED-Anzeige schwächer wird, verschlechtert sich die klangqualität. In diesem Fall die
Batterie möglichst sofort erneuern.
Wenn Sie die Einheit für längere Zeit nicht verwenden, die Batterie entfernen, um mögliche Beschä-
digung durch ein Auslaufen der Batterie zu vermeiden.

The SB7 is an effect unit that creates synth bass sounds. Rather than detecting the pitch of the bass sound
that is input, and using this to trigger a synthesizer, it processes the sound of the bass itself. This means that
you will have no problems with time lag or tracking, and can play not only single notes but also chords.
Das SB7 ist ein Effektgerät, das Synth-Bass-Sounds erzeugt. Anstatt die Tonhöhe des eingespei-
sten Basssignals zu analysieren und mit der gewonnenen Information einen Synthesizer anzu-
steuern, bearbeitet dieses Gerät den Bass-Sound selbst. Dadurch gibt es keine Probleme mit dem
Timing oder Tonhöhe, und Sie können nicht nur einzelne Noten, sondern auch Akkorde spielen.

Le SB7 est un effet qui produit des sons de basse. Au lieu d’analyser la hauteur des signaux de basse
entrants pour déclencher le synthétiseur, il transforme en fait le signal de la basse même. De ce fait, vous ne
remarquerez aucun retard (le “tracking” est donc parfait) et vous pouvez même jouer des accords.
La SB7 es una unidad de efectos que crea sonidos de bajo sintetizados. En lugar de detectar el
tono del sonido que se introduce del bajo y utilizarlo para activar un sintetizador, procesa el sonido
del propio bajo. Gracias a ello se eliminan los problemas de retardo o reglaje y se pueden tocar no
sólo notas únicas, sino también acordes.
◆ SB7 è un’unità effetti tesa a creare toni bassi di sintonizzatore. Anziché rilevare il passo dei toni
bassi di input e utilizzarlo per azionare il sintonizzatore, l’unità stessa processa i toni bassi. Per-
tanto, non si hanno problemi con l’intervallo di ritardo o con il tracking ed è possibile riprodurre sia
le singole note che i accordi.
