Incorrect handling could cause an unexpected situation. Follow the purpose of each tool.
Precautions
1. The holding rod of the soldering iron stand becomes hot when in use. Be careful
to burn especially. Be sure to wet the sponge before use.
2. Handle the measuring tape carefully since touching the extended tape while it is
being automatically rewound could cause physical injury.
Hold the end of the tape with your fingers when rewinding the tape.
3. Use the proper tool size for each application.
4. Do not use tools which are cracked, broken, worn, or deformed, etc.
5. Do not remodel the tools.
Caution
1. Handles of tools are not insulated. Do not use on energized places.
This could cause a shock.
2. Wear goggles to protect your eyes against flying debris when using cutting tools or
wire stripping tools. Core wire or insulation fragments could injure your eyes.
Warning
The H-600 soldering iron is with booster.
Booster switch accelerates the heating up during depress.
1. Do not solder electronic components while pressing the boost switch. This could
cause damage to them due to drop of insulation performance of the H-600.
2. Do not press the boost switch continuously for more than 30 seconds. This could
cause a drop of insulation performance or malfunction.
3. Replace cap after temperature of tip has dropped sufficiently. Otherwise, this could
cause a burn or fire.
4. The tip is covered with lead-free solder which is easily burned and stuck if heated
without using even for a short time.
Tin with solder when energize for the first time.
Turn off the power after wipe the used solder and tin with new solder.
Do not file this tip since the area other than the point is covered with iron and
chromium plate.
