Incorrect handling could cause an unexpected situation. Follow the purpose of each tool.
Precautions
When handling the H-270 SOLDERING IRON, note the following instructions.
1. Do not use if a cut or damage is found on power cord.
2. Do not supply higher voltages than rated.
3. Do not use near flammable or combustible materials.
4. Before close the cap, let the soldering tip cool.
5. Do not leave with the switch on.
Warning
1. Use the proper tool size for each application.
2. Do not use tools which are cracked, broken, worn, or deformed, etc.
Caution
1. Handles of tools are not insulated. Do not use on energized places. This could
cause a shock.
2. Wear goggles to protect your eyes against flying debris when using cutting tools or
wire stripping tools. Core wire or insulation fragments could injure your eyes.
Warning
1. Use a soldering iron stand.
2. Do not apply a physical shock.
3. Do not attempt to cool with water or any other liquid.
4. Use only genuine tips and heaters.
5. Ensure ventilation during use.
6. The tip of the soldering iron is covered with lead-free solder which is easily burned
and stuck if heated without using even for a short time.
Tin with solder when energize for the first time.
7. Turn off the power after wipe the used solder and tin with new solder.
