Author: Thilo Hutzler

Length of the game: approx. 15 minutes
It’s all chaos at the train junction. The passenger
train to Hutzel town is due to leave in a few
minutes. However, the wagons still stand every
which way on the tracks. Now the task is to have
a good general overview and connect the right
wagons to the locomotives.
Suddenly the conductor shouts: “All passengers
on board” thus cutting short the colorful chaos.

Game idea
Each player takes a game board. The game boards show
three different locomotive styles, each one due to leave
the station. Before departing the station, however, players
need to have two, three or four wagons connected. A train
is complete as soon as a player has collected the necessary
matching wagons. The wagons are then put into a pile.
Whoever has the highest pile of wagon cards may place
the wooden locomotive in front of him. But at the end of
a round a player only earns a nugget if the locomotive is
standing in front of him. Watch out! No player can predict
when the round will end. The aim of the game is to be the
first to collect two glass nuggets.
Preparation of the Game
Each player takes a game board and places it in front of
him. Shuffle the cards and place them face-down in the
center of the table. Make sure the cards don’t overlap.
Then turn over any four cards. Get the locomotive and glass
nuggets ready.
How to Play
Play in a clockwise direction. Whoever is best at imitating a
steam engine may start. If you cannot agree, the youngest
player starts and takes one of the four cards facing up.
Watch out:
the special “conductor” cards may not be taken.

Which card have you chosen?
A wagon:
The wagon cards are related to the three locomotives on
your game board. Place the card on the corresponding
square of your game board.
The crane wagon:
The crane is a joker. You can place it on any
square of any of the locomotives on your
game board.
The junction operator:
This card permits you to steal a wagon
card from any of the other players and
place it on your game board. If you steal
a crane wagon, of course you can use it
as a joker. The junction operator card is
then taken out of the game for this round.
Then it’s the turn of the next player. He turns over a new
card and chooses one of the four cards facing up.

Train complete?
A train is complete as soon as all the squares next to a
locomotive are covered with wagon cards. Place all the
cards of this train in a pile next to your game board. You
now can take the wooden locomotive and may keep it until
another player collects more wagon cards than you. Each
time a train is complete, the corresponding player adds the
cards to his pile and the piles are compared. Whoever has
the highest pile gets the wooden locomotive and places it
in front of him.
Special card “Conductor”
Stop! A conductor card always remains
facing up in the center of the table and
cannot be taken. A round ends imme-
diately when a third conductor card has
been turned over.
Whoever has the wooden locomotive in
front of him at this moment, receives a
glass nugget. If no player has the locomotive in front of him
no one earns a glass nugget. Then a new round begins.
New Round
Shuffle the cards and prepare a new round. The new round
starts with the player to the left of the winner of the previ-
ous round.
End of the Game
The game ends as soon as a player has collected two glass
nuggets thus winning the game.
