OP-7 Portable Speaker
1. Set the mic volume, guitar volume, and music volume to the minimum.
2. Insert the 6.35mm plug of your mic cable into the Channel 1 input jack on the speaker. Turn the MODE
SWITCH to MIC gear. (Difference between GUITAR1 and GUITAR2 modes is that, the former has intense
highs while the latter has moderate highs.)
Operation Instructions
3. Insert your guitar cable plug into the Channel 2 input jack on the speaker, and the other end into the output
port of your guitar or instrument. (Press/Unpress the MODE SWITCH to select the required mode. The
difference of the two modes is same as that stated in the above Point 2.)
4. To play music from your phone, connect it to the speaker via Bluetooth. (Refer to Bluetooth Pairing section.)
5. To broadcast live from your phone, please connect one end of the phone audio cable (4-pole 3.5mm plug
on both ends) to the PHONES OUT socket on the speaker, and the other end to your phone. Use an OTG
adapter or use the OTG DIGITAL I/O if your phone does not have a 3.5mm jack (phone audio cable and OTG
adapter are not included).
6. Power on the speaker, and turn the mic volume, guitar volume and music volume to the appropriate levels.
7. Adjust REVERB, ECHO DELAY, TREBLE and BASS of the mic and guitar as you see fit to start performing.
Notice:
In case of howling/feedback while using a mic, try increasing the distance between the mic and the speaker;
if the issue remains, properly lower the treble or volume of the mic.
Bluetooth Pairing:
Upon initial use, please pair the speaker with your mobile phone or Bluetooth device, following the below
steps:
1. Switch on the speaker power, and if the Bluetooth LED starts flashing blue, then Bluetooth is already
enabled. Otherwise, you need to press in the BLUETOOTH SWITCH to enable Bluetooth. Blue flashing light
means Bluetooth is pairing.
2. Enter the “Setting” menu on your phone, find the Bluetooth setting, enable Bluetooth, wait until
“TAKSTAR OP-7” is discovered, then tap on it to connect. When connected successfully, the speaker
Bluetooth LED becomes solid blue.
3. Upon next power-on, the speaker will automatically reconnect to the previously paired device if Bluetooth
is enabled.
Charging Indicator:
Please charge the speaker with the supplied power adapter. You can charge the speaker while it operates.
When powered on, if the BATTERY STATUS DISPLAY shows zero bar of battery left, please recharge the
speaker timely. (Due to voltage detection error, the speaker may last another 20 minutes or so after the
battery level shows zero. However, it is subject to the output volume level and signal type.)
The speaker's CHARGE LED is solid red while charging and turns solid blue when fully charged. It takes about
2.5 hours for a full charge using the included power adapter.
Note: To ensure battery durability, charging while the device is in operation is designed to be slower,
therefore it' s recommended that you charge the speaker when it’s powered off.
It' s recommended to fully charge the device before first use. Please charge the speaker once every 6
months if not used for extended periods, to avoid over discharge which will affect the battery performance.
Unplug the power cord as well if not used for extended periods.
