Cleaning
3. Place the high-speed hand blender in
the receptacle. To prevent food from
splashing, immerse the high-speed
hand blender in the food before
switching on the appliance.
Warning!
Do not immerse the appliance in liquid
above the joint between the high-speed
hand blender and base unit.
4. Insert the mains plug. Turn the switch to
setting M and hold.
5. Process the ingredients as required.
Tip: The high-speed hand blender works
better if there is some liquid between the
ingredients being processed.
6. Release the switch.
Tip: To make cleaning the high-speed
hand blender easier, after use place it in a
receptacle containing clean water and briey
turn the switch to setting M several times.
7. Pull out the mains plug.
8. Remove the high-speed hand blender
by simultaneously pressing both release
buttons. When doing so, hold the lock of
the rear aperture in place to prevent the
high-speed hand blender from jamming.
Cleaning
The accessories must be thoroughly
cleaned after each use. X Table E
■ Clean the attachment of the universal
cutter with a damp cloth and then rub
dry.
■ Clean the high-speed hand blender
in the dishwasher or with a brush under
running water. Never clean blades with
bare hands. Leave the high-speed hand
blender to dry in an upright position
(blender foot blade at top) so that any
water inside can run out. X Fig F
■ When processing food such as carrots,
plastic parts may become discoloured,
but this can be removed with a few
drops of cooking oil.

■ Clean all parts immediately after use.
Sample recipe:
Honey cake with apples
Honey-apple mixture:
– 120 g forest honey (5 °C)
– 20 g apple in cubes (1 cm)
■ Add to the universal cutter and mix at
setting M for 3 seconds.
Cake:
– 3 eggs
– 60 g butter
– 100 g plain white our
– 60 g ground walnuts
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 2 packets vanilla sugar
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1 apple
■ Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
■ Beat the egg whites until sti.
■ Beat the yolks and sugar, then add
the softened butter and the mixture of
apple and honey.
■ Mix the our, ground walnuts, cinnamon
and baking powder in a separate bowl.
Add to the moist ingredients and mix
in. Using a spatula carefully fold in the
beaten egg whites.
■ Line a rectangular loaf tin (dimensions
35 cm x 11 cm) with greaseproof paper
and pour in the prepared mixture.
■ Peel the apple and slice. Arrange the
slices of apple on the cake.
■ Preheat the oven to 180 °C and bake
the cake for 30 minutes.
High-speed hand blender
The high-speed hand blender is suitable for
blending mayonnaise (only whole eggs),
sauces, mixed drinks, baby food, cooked
fruit and vegetables. For puréeing soups.
Use the universal cutter for cutting/chopping
raw food (onions, garlic, herbs).
