

メモ：メニューインデックスを表示するには、プリンタが準備完了状態になっている必要があります。プリンタの準備が完了していない場合は、メニューを表示

できないことを示すメッセージが表示されます。

リストを上下に移動します。

上または下矢印ボタンを押すごとに、カーソルが一行ずつリスト内を移動します。カーソルが画面の一番下にあるときに下矢印ボタンを押すと、次の画面が表示

されます。



メニューインデックス間での移動など、画面内を移動します。右または左矢印ボタンを使用すると、画面に表示しきれないテキストをスクロールして表示すること

もできます。

操作パネルの使用



プリンタ設定を簡単に変更するための多くのメニューが用意されています。以下の表に、操作パネルに表示されるメニューインデックスと、各メニューインデックスから使用できるメニュー項目を示しま

す。メニューおよびメニュー項目についての詳細は、「操作パネルのメニューについて」を参照してください。



［設定］ボタン



選択した操作を実行します。リンク先に進む、設定項目を送信する、ジョブを開始またはキャンセルするなどの操作を行う場合は［設定］ボタンを押します。

［戻る］ボタン



最後に表示した画面に戻ります。

メモ：［戻る］ボタンを押した場合、画面上で行った変更は適用されません。

［キャンセル］

ボタン



プリンタで実行している機械的な操作を中止します。［キャンセル］ボタンを押すと、「停止中」というメッセージが表示されます。プリンタの動作が停止すると、操

作パネルのステータス行に「停止中」と表示され、オプションの一覧が表示されます。

画面

プリンタの現在の状況を示すメッセージやグラフィック、プリンタで発生している可能性のある解決すべき問題が表示されます。

操作パネルは、4 行表示に対応した、バックライト付きのグレースケール画面で、グラフィックとテキストを表示できます。



適切な用紙を正しくセットすることで、ほとんどの紙詰まりを防ぐことができます。紙詰まりを防ぐ方法についての詳細は、紙詰まりの回避を参照してください。用紙が詰まった場合は、この節で説明する

手順に従ってください。



紙詰まりを示すメッセージが表示されたら、用紙経路全体から用紙を取り除き、［設定］ボタンを押します。するとメッセージが消えて印刷を続行できます。［紙づまり回復］を［オン］または［自動］に

設定してある場合は、紙詰まりが発生したページを再度印刷できます。ただし、［自動］に設定してある場合は印刷されない場合もあります。

紙詰まりの場所の特定



プリンタで紙詰まりが発生すると、プリンタの操作パネルの画面に紙詰まりを示すメッセージが表示されます。



以下の図は、プリンタ内を通る用紙の経路を示しています。用紙が通る経路は、お使いの入力ソース（カセット、多目的フィーダ、封筒フィーダ）や排紙トレイ（排紙増量器）によって異なります。

1. プリンタ前面の突起を引いて多目的フィーダを下ろします。



2. リリースラッチを右に押して上部の前面カバーを開きます。



3. カートリッジを持ち上げてプリンタから引き出します。



4. カートリッジを横に置きます。



メモ：紙詰まりの除去についての以下の説明は順不同なように見えますが、印刷経路に詰まっている用紙を簡単に取り除けるようにグループ分けされています（⇒「紙詰まりの場所の特定」）。

警告：プリンタ内部が高温になっている場合があります。プリンタの温度が下がるまで内部の部品には触れないでください。

注意：用紙を引き出せない場合は、無理に引き出そうとしないで、プリンタの背面ドアから取り除いてください。

9. ［設定］ボタンを押します。

202 紙詰り、後ろドアを開く

1. プリンタから用紙が排出されかかっている場合は、そのまま引き出して［設定］ボタンを押します。これ以外の場合は、手順 2 に進みます。



2. プリンタの背面ドアを開きます。



3. 詰まっている用紙を取り除きます。

4. 背面ドアを閉じます。

5. ［設定］ボタンを押します。
