Процедура установки
q Установите идентификатор панели.
К каждому MTX можно подсоединить до восьми
панелей управления. Установите идентификатор
каждой панели в положение 0–7 с помощью

Для выполнения оконечной нагрузки последней
панели управления в цепи установите
двухпозиционный переключатель 4 (выключатель
оконечной нагрузки) в положение ВКЛ. Убедитесь,
что двухпозиционный переключатель 4 установлен
в положение ВЫКЛ для других панелей управления.
e Соедините разъемы RJ-45 панели управления и
разъемы [DCP] MTX с помощью кабелей Ethernet.
Кабели Ethernet можно подсоединить к любому из
разъемов RJ-45. Используйте прямой кабель
Ethernet CAT5e или выше с подсоединением всех
восьми штырьков.
q Прикрепите панель управления к настенной
коробке.
w Установите пластиковую крышку на панель
управления.
Нажмите пластиковую крышку до упора, чтобы она

Другие установки
При использовании MTX Editor доступны следующие функции. См. руководство MTX Editor для получения

Подсоединение нескольких панелей управления
При подсоединении нескольких панелей управления выполните соединение в последовательно-приоритетную цепочку
с разъемом [DCP] MTX. Можно подсоединить до восьми панелей управления. Помните, что общая максимальная длина
кабелей между MTX и панелью управления с оконечной нагрузкой не должна превышать 200 метров.
Установка блока панели управления
ВНИМАНИЕ
Не подсоединяйте панели управления к какому-либо другом
разъему, помимо [DCP] MTX. Это может привести к повреждению
устройств или даже пожару, поскольку они не являются
электрически совместимыми.

Installation Procedure
q Set the Panel ID.
Up to eight control panels can be connected to
each MTX. Set each Panel ID number to 0–7,
using DIP switches 1–3 as follows. Make sure
that each control panel connected to the same
MTX has a unique Panel ID.
w Set the termination.
To terminate the last control panel in a daisy-
chain connection, turn DIP switch 4 (termination
switch) ON. Make sure to turn DIP switch 4 OFF
for the other control panels.
e Connect RJ-45 connectors of the control
panel and [DCP] connectors of the MTX using
Ethernet cables.
Ethernet cables can be connected to either RJ-45
connector. Use CAT5e or higher Ethernet straight
cable that has all eight pins connected.
Settings and Connection
NOTE
Be sure to turn all MTXs OFF before connecting, since the MTXs supply power to all control panels.

q Fix the control panel to the wall box.
w Put the plastic cover on the control panel.
Push the plastic cover all the way, until it clicks in
place.
Other Settings
Using the MTX Editor, the following functions are available. Refer to the MTX Editor User’s Manual for details.
• The brightness of the control panel can be set according to the brightness of the room.
• The control panel can be locked to avoid it being utilized by unauthorized persons.
• Error messages are shown on the control panel by a combination of the LEDs turning on, off and blinking.
Connecting multiple control panels
Make a daisy-chain connection to the [DCP] connector of the MTX when multiple control panels are
connected. Up to eight control panels can be connected. Keep in mind that the total maximum length of
cables between the MTX and the terminated control panel is 200 meters.
Attaching the Control Panel unit
CAUTION
Do not connect control panels to any connector other than the
[DCP] connector of the MTX. Doing so can result in damage to the
devices or even fire since they are not electrically compatible.

NOTE
• Use a suitable wall box: 1-gang with a depth of 44
millimeters or more for the DCP4V4S-US, and 3-
gang with a depth of 44 millimeters or more for the
DCP4V4S-EU.
• Use proper screws that fit the size of wall box.
• Tighten the screws with a torque of less than 1.5
Nm. Also, make sure that the screw heads extend
from the control panel by no more than 3
millimeters.

When attaching to a surface mount box, insert the
included plastic spacers to fill the gap between the
box’s edge and the face of screw holes of the box.
Adjust the height of spacers if needed.
NOTE
When detaching the plastic cover, insert a slotted
screwdriver into the small release slot at the bottom of
the cover, then pull up gently to remove it. Be careful
not to damage the plastic cover.

Procédure d’installation
q Réglez l’identifiant du panneau.
Un maximum de huit panneaux de commande
peuvent être connecté à chaque MTX. Réglez
chaque identifiant de panneau entre 0 et 7 en
utilisant les commutateur DIP 1 à 3 de la façon
suivante. Assurez-vous que chaque panneau de
commande connecté au même MTX a un
identifiant de panneau unique.
w Réglez la terminaison.
Pour terminer le dernier panneau de commande
d’une connexion en chaîne, positionnez le
commutateur DIP 4 (commutateur de
terminaison) sur ON. Assurez-vous de

e Raccordez les connecteurs RJ-45 du panneau
de commande aux connecteurs [DCP] du MTX

Installation
q Stellen Sie die Bedienfeld-ID ein.
Jedes MTX kann mit bis zu acht Bedienfeldern
verbunden werden. Weisen Sie jedem Bedienfeld
mit Hilfe der DIP-Schalter 1 bis 3 eine ID von 0 bis
7 zu, wie nachstehend veranschaulicht. Achten
Sie darauf, dass jedes der mit demselben MTX
verbundenen Bedienfelder eine eindeutige ID hat.
w Stellen Sie die Terminierung ein.
Zum Terminieren des letzten Bedienfeld in der
Kette stellen Sie DIP-Schalter 4
(Terminierungsschalter) auf ON. Stellen Sie
sicher, dass DIP-Schalter 4 an allen anderen
Bedienfeldern auf OFF gestellt ist.
e Verbinden Sie die RJ-45-Buchse des
Bedienfelds über ein Ethernet-Kabel mit der
[DCP]-Buchse am MTX.
Das Ethernet-Kabel kann beliebig an eine der RJ-
45-Buchsen angeschlossen werden. Verwenden
Sie ein ungekreuztes Ethernet-Kabel Typ CAT5e
oder höher, bei dem alle acht Stifte beschaltet sind.
Einstellungen und Anschlüsse
HINWEIS
Schalten Sie alle MTX vor dem Anschluss unbedingt AUS, da die MTX-Einheiten alle Bedienfelder mit Strom
versorgen.

• Die Helligkeit des Bedienfelds kann an die Helligkeit im Raum angepasst werden.
• Das Bedienfeld kann gesperrt werden, um Unbefugten eine Bedienung unmöglich zu machen.
• Fehlermeldungen werden durch eine Blinkkombination der LEDs am Bedienfeld angezeigt.
Verbinden mehrerer Bedienfelder
Zum Verbinden mehrerer Bedienfelder schließen Sie diese als Kette an die [DCP]-Buchse des MTX an.
Bis zu acht Bedienfelder können verbunden sein. Beachten Sie, dass die maximale zulässige Kabellänge
zwischen dem MTX und dem terminierten Bedienfeld 200 Meter ist.
Einbau der Bedienfeldeinheit
VORSICHT
Schließen Sie Bedienfelder nicht an eine andere Buchse als die
[DCP]-Buchse des MTX an. Dies könnte einen Geräteschaden und
im Extremfall sogar einen Brand verursachen, da die Buchsen
nicht elektrisch kompatibel sind.

HINWEIS

• Ziehen Sie die Schrauben mit weniger als 1,5 Nm
an. Achten Sie auch darauf, dass die
Schraubenköpfe nicht mehr als 3 mm aus dem
Bedienfeld überstehen.
HINWEIS
• Bei Unterbringung in einer Aufputzwanddose legen
Sie die mitgelieferten Kunststoff-Abstandhalter
zwischen, um den Spalt zwischen der Kante der
Dose und der Fläche mit den Schraubenlöchern zu
eliminieren. Passen Sie ggf. die Höhe der
Abstandhalter an.
• Zum Abnehmen der Kunststoffabdeckung führen
Sie einen Schlitzschraubendreher in die kleine
Aussparung unten an der Abdeckung ein und
ziehen ihn zum Lösen vorsichtig nach oben.
Vermeiden Sie eine Beschädigung der Abdeckung.

Procedura di installazione
q Impostare l’ID del pannello
Fino a otto pannelli di controllo possono essere
collegati a ciascun MTX. Impostare il numero ID
di ogni pannello a 0–7, utilizzando gli interruttori
DIP 1–3 come segue. Assicurarsi che ogni
pannello di controllo collegato alla stessa MTX
abbia un ID univoco.
w Impostare la terminazione
Per terminare l’ultimo pannello di controllo in un
collegamento daisy chain, portare l’interruttore
DIP 4 (interruttore di terminazione) in posizione
ON. Assicurarsi di portare l’interruttore DIP 4 in
posizione OFF per gli altri pannelli di controllo.
e Collegare i connettore RJ-45 del pannello di
controllo e i connettori [DCP] della MTX
utilizzando cavi Ethernet.
I cavi Ethernet possono essere collegati ad
entrambi i connettori RJ-45. Utilizzare cavi
Ethernet diretti CAT5e o superiori che abbiano
tutti gli otto pin collegati.

Effettuare un collegamento daisy chain al connettore [DCP] della MTX quando si desidera collere più
pannelli di controllo. È possibile collegare fino ad otto pannelli di controllo. Tenere a mente che la
lunghezza massima dei cavi tra la MTX e il pannello di controllo terminato è di 200 metri.

Terminare l’ultimo pannello do controllo
NOTA
• Utilizzare una scatola da parete adatta: 3-gang con
una profondità di 44 millimetri o più.
• Utilizzare viti adeguate che si adattino alle
dimensioni della scatola da parete.
• Stringere le viti con una coppia inferiore a 1,5 Nm.
Inoltre, assicurarsi che le teste delle viti si
estendano dal pannello di controllo non più di 3
millimetri.
NOTA
• Quando si monta a una casella di montaggio
superficiale, inserire i distanziali in plastica inclusi
per colmare il divario tra il bordo della scatola e i fori
per le viti della scatola. Regolare l’altezza dei
distanziali se necessario.
• Quando si rimuove la copertura di plastica, inserire
un cacciavite nella piccola fessura di rilascio nella
parte inferiore del coperchio, quindi sollevare
delicatamente per rimuoverlo. Fare attenzione a
non danneggiare la copertura di plastica.
