The built-in rechargeable appliance
battery contains substances that may
pollute the environment. Always remove
the battery before you discard or hand
in the appliance at an ocial collection
point. Dispose o the battery at an
ocial collection point for batteries. If you
have trouble removing the battery, you
can also take the appliance to a Philips
service centre. The sta of this centre
will remove the battery for you and will
dispose of it in an environmentally safe
way.
Removing the rechargeable appliance
battery
Only remove the rechargeable battery
when you discard the appliance.
Make sure the rechargeable battery is
completely empty when you remove it.

Power o appliance and disconnect
the appliance from the mains.

Rotate rear housing and take o.

Undo the screws in the back of
the appliance and take o metal
housing.

Remove internal housing.

Pull out battery connector and
remove battery.
Be careful, the hooks are sharp.
Be careful, the battery strips are sharp.
Do not connect the appliance to the
mains again after you have removed the
rechargeable battery.
