5 Before performing, check whether the reed of the mouthpiece is

cracked or split.

5 With extended use, the reed may become cracked or split. Since

the reed is a consumable item, stop using it in this condition, and

replace the old mouthpiece with a new mouthpiece.

* Because of how the mouthpiece is manufactured, it is not
