INFORMATION

►Die Versorgung des Patienten mit dem Liner muss spätestens an dem Datum beginnen, das

auf der Innenseite der Verpackung oder auf dem Etikett aufgedruckt ist (MHD/BBD).

1.1 Funktion

Der Liner 6Y200 verbindet den Stumpf mit dem Prothesenschaft Varos 5A60 und reduziert die

Kräfte, die auf dem Stumpf einwirken. Der Liner verfügt über eine Textilbeschichtung und eine

Magnetkappe, die den Halt des Liners im Prothesenschaft verbessern.

1.2 Kombinationsmöglichkeiten

Das Produkt ist kompatibel mit den angegebenen Ottobock Produkten. Die Funktionalität mit Pro

dukten anderer Hersteller wurde nicht getestet.

Kombinationseinschränkungen für Ottobock Komponenten

Der Liner ist ausschließlich mit dem Oberschenkelschaft Varos 5A60=* (Hauptprodukt) kombi

nierbar.

2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

2.1 Verwendungszweck

Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für die exoprothetische Versorgung der unteren Extremität einzu

setzen.

2.2 Lebensdauer

Das Produkt ist ein Verschleißteil, das einer üblichen Abnutzung unterliegt.

3 Sicherheit

5.1 Größe auswählen

INFORMATION

Achten Sie auf die Auswahl der richtigen Größe des Liners. Im Folgenden sind mögliche Pro

bleme aufgelistet.

►Liner zu klein: Taubheitsgefühle, Blasenbildung, Hubbewegungen im Prothesenschaft

►Liner zu groß: Gesteigerte Schweißbildung, Stumpfrotation im Liner, Blasenbildung, Haut

ausschlag

1) Den proximalen Stumpfumfang 3cm distal des Perineums messen.

2) Den distalen Stumpfumfang 5cm proximal des Stumpfendes messen.

3) Die Stumpflänge von Schambein bis Stumpfende messen. Dabei einen eventuell vorhande

nen Weichteilüberhang in Stumpflängsachse ausrichten.

4) Den Liner der Größe auswählen, die dem ermittelten Maß entspricht (siehe Seite 2).

Optional: Wenn das Maß zwischen zwei Größen liegt, die andere Größe ausprobieren.

5) Die Passform des Liners überprüfen.

5.2 Liner anpassen

Länge bestimmen

1) Zur bereits gemessenen Stumpflänge 5cm addieren und eine Markierung auf der medialen

Naht des Liners anbringen.

2) Die Schnittkontur anzeichnen und den Liner zuschneiden.

3) Den Liner anziehen (siehe Seite6).

4) Dicht unterhalb des Perineums eine Markierung auf der medialen Naht des Liners anbringen.

5) Den Liner wieder ausziehen (siehe Seite6).

6) Die Schnittkontur anzeichnen und den Liner auf die finale Länge zuschneiden.

Schnittkontur anzeichnen und Liner zuschneiden

>Empfohlene Werkzeuge für Liner mit Außentextil: Zuschneideschere 719S7, Kunstfaser

schere 719S20 oder eine herkömmliche Schere mit glattem Schliff

1) Den Liner so auf der Werkbank platzieren, dass die mediale Naht mit der Markierung mittig

oben liegt.

2) Die Zuschneideschablone mit der medialen Seite auf den Liner legen und an der Markierung

ausrichten (siehe Abb.1).

3) Die Kontur der Schablone mit Kreide auf den Liner übertragen.

4) Den Liner wenden, so das die laterale Naht mittig oben liegt.

5) Die Zuschneideschablone umdrehen und auf den Liner legen (siehe Abb.2). Die Höhe orien

tiert sich an den Enden der medial angezeichneten Kontur.

6) Die Kontur der Schablone mit Kreide auf den Liner übertragen.

7) HINWEIS! Keine Wellenschliffschere verwenden.

Den Liner gemäß der angezeichneten Schnittkontur zuschneiden. Dabei muss der Liner im

mer außerhalb des Prothesenschafts enden.

6 Gebrauch

VORSICHT

Verwenden von Puder (z.B. Babypuder oder Talkum)

Hautirritationen am Stumpf sowie Funktionsverlust von Prothesenkomponenten durch Verstop

fen mit Partikeln oder Entzug von Schmierstoff

►Halten Sie das Produkt von Puder fern.

►Prüfen Sie das Produkt vor jeder Verwendung auf Beschädigungen.

durch den Kunden-Service des Herstellers, etc.).

6.1 An- und Ausziehen des Liners

Anziehen

INFORMATION

Tragen Sie den Liner direkt auf der Haut. Stoffe, die sich zwischen Haut und Liner befinden,

können zu Hautirritationen führen.

Wenn eine allergische Reaktion auftritt, verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht weiter und wenden

Sie sich an Ihren Arzt.

1) Den Liner und die Magnetkappe auf Schäden überprüfen. Dabei an der Magnetkappe haften

de Gegenstände entfernen.

2) Den Liner aufrollen und dann auf das Stumpfende setzen.

3) Den Liner ausrichten (Orientierungsfaden mittig auf der Vorderseite des Stumpfs, Magnet

kappe in Stumpflängsachse).

4) Den Liner faltenfrei abrollen ohne Weichteile zu verschieben oder Lufteinschlüsse zu erzeu

gen.

5) Den Sitz und die Ausrichtung des Liners überprüfen.

INFORMATION: Der Liner darf nicht innerhalb des Prothesenschafts enden.

6) Den Prothesenschaft anziehen, wie in der Gebrauchsanweisung des Prothesenschafts be

schrieben.

Ausziehen

1) Den Liner aufrollen und vom Stumpf abnehmen.

2) Empfehlung: Den Liner reinigen (siehe Seite6).

6.2 Reinigung und Pflege

HINWEIS

Verwendung falscher Reinigungsmittel

Beschädigung des Produktes durch falsche Reinigungsmittel

►Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur mit den zugelassenen Reinigungsmitteln.

INFORMATION

Bei erhöhter Schweißbildung den Liner und die Haut öfter reinigen. Das Tragen eines Liners er

fordert täglich intensive Hautpflege. Dazu empfiehlt Ottobock das Derma-Pflegesystem.

Innenseite reinigen

1) Die Innenseite des Liners nach außen wenden.

2) Den Liner von Hand in warmem Wasser (30°C) mit neutraler Seife (z.B. Ottobock Derma

Clean 453H10=1) waschen.

3) Den Liner mit klarem Wasser gründlich ausspülen, bis alle Seifenrückstände entfernt sind.

4) Den Liner wieder wenden, damit die Außenseite/das Textil außen liegt.

5) Ein Handtuch in den Liner stecken und den Liner flach liegend auf einem Wäscheständer

trocknen. Alternativ einen Trockenständer (5Y100=*) verwenden.

HINWEIS! Liner mit Außentextil: Trocken Sie den Liner mit dem Textil nach außen, um

Schäden zu verhindern.

Außenseite reinigen

►Die Außenseite des Liners ca. alle 1 bis 2 Wochen reinigen. Dabei vorgehen, wie bei der In

nenseite des Liners.

Magnetkappe reinigen

►Die Kappe mit einem trockenen oder feuchten Tuch reinigen.

7 Versand

Wird das Produkt versendet, darf auf der Außenseite des Pakets keine nennenswerte Magnetwir

kung auftreten. Die Bestimmungen des Versandunternehmens sind zu beachten.

1) Die Originalverpackung aufbewahren, für den Fall, dass das Produkt versendet werden soll.

2) Tipp: Die Verpackung um 45° neigen und eine Büroklammer auflegen. Wenn die Büroklam

mer abrutscht, ist keine Magnetwirkung vorhanden.

8 Entsorgung

Das Produkt darf nicht überall mit unsortiertem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Eine unsachgemäße

Entsorgung kann sich schädlich auf die Umwelt und die Gesundheit auswirken. Beachten Sie die

Angaben der zuständigen Behörde Ihres Landes zu Rückgabe, Sammel- und Entsorgungsverfah

ren.

INFORMATION

►The patient must be fitted with the liner no later than the date printed on the inside of the

packaging or on the label (MHD/BBD).

1.1 Function

The 6Y200 liner connects the residual limb to the 5A60 Varos prosthetic socket and reduces the

forces acting on the residual limb. The liner is equipped with a textile coating and a magnetic cap,

which improve the adhesion of the liner in the prosthetic socket.

1.2 Combination possibilities

The product is compatible with the specified Ottobock products. The functionality with products

of other manufacturers was not tested.

Limited combination options for Ottobock components

The liner can only be combined with the 5A60=* Varos transfemoral socket (main product).

2 Intended use

The product is intended exclusively for lower limb exoprosthetic fittings.

The product is a wear part, which means it is subject to normal wear and tear.

5 Preparing the product for use

5.1 Size selection

INFORMATION

Be sure to select the correct liner size. Possible problems are listed below.

►Liner too small: Feelings of numbness, formation of blisters, pistoning in the prosthetic

socket

►Liner too large: Increased perspiration, rotation of the residual limb in the liner, formation of

blisters, skin rash

1) Measure the proximal circumference of the residual limb 3cm distal from the perineum.

2) Measure the distal circumference of the residual limb 5cm proximal from the end of the resid

ual limb.

3) Measure the length of the residual limb from its end to the pubic bone. In doing so, straighten

out any bulge in the soft tissue that may be present in the longitudinal axis of the residual limb.

4) Select the liner size that corresponds to the resulting measurement (see page 2).

Optional: If the measurement lies between two sizes, try the other size.

5) Check the fit of the liner.

5.2 Adapting the liner

Determining the length

1) Add 5cm to the previously measured residual limb length and make a mark on the medial

seam of the liner.

2) Mark the trim line and cut the liner.

3) Put on the liner (see page11).

4) Just below the perineum, make a mark on the medial seam of the liner.

5) Take the liner off again (see page11).

6) Mark the trim line and cut the liner to the final length.

>Recommended tools for liners with a textile outer layer: 719S7 trimming scissors,

719S20 scissors for synthetic fibres or conventional scissors with a smooth blade

1) Position the liner on the workbench so the medial seam with the mark you have made is on

top and centred.

2) Lay the trimming template with the medial side on the liner and align with the mark (see

fig.1).

3) Transfer the template outline to the liner using chalk.

4) Turn the liner so that the lateral seam is on top and centred.

5) Turn the template over and lay it on the liner (see fig.2). The height aligns with the ends of the

medial outline that you have marked out.

6) Transfer the template outline to the liner using chalk.

7) NOTICE! Do not use serrated scissors.

Cut the liner along the outline that you have marked out. Note that the end of the liner must

always be outside the prosthetic socket.

6 Use

CAUTION

Use of powder (e.g.baby powder or talcum)

Skin irritation on the residual limb and loss of function of prosthetic components due to clogging

with particles or deprivation of lubricant

►Keep the product away from powders.

NOTICE

►Check the product for damage prior to each use.

►Do not use the product if its functionality has been impaired.

►Take any necessary measures (e.g.repair, replacement, inspection by the manufacturer's

customer service, etc.).

6.1 Putting on and taking off the liner

Donning

INFORMATION

Wear the liner directly on the skin. Fabrics between the skin and the liner can cause skin irrita

tion.

If any allergic reaction occurs, immediately discontinue use and contact your medical profes

sional.

1) Check the liner and magnetic cap for damage. In doing so, remove any objects adhering to

the magnetic cap.

2) Roll up the liner and place it on the end of the residual limb.

3) Align the liner (orientation thread centred on the front of the residual limb, magnetic cap in the

longitudinal axis of the residual limb).

4) Unroll the liner without leaving wrinkles or displacing soft tissue, and without air pockets.

5) Check the fit and the alignment of the liner.

INFORMATION: The end of the liner may not be inside the prosthetic socket.

6) Put the prosthetic socket on as described in the instructions for use for the prosthetic socket.

Doffing

1) Roll up the liner and remove it from the residual limb.

2) Recommendation: Clean the liner (see page12).

6.2 Cleaning and Care

NOTICE

Use of improper cleaning agents

Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents

►Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.

INFORMATION

Clean the liner and skin more frequently in case of increased perspiration. Wearing a liner

requires daily intensive skin care. Ottobock recommends the use of the Derma skin care system.

Cleaning the inside

1) Turn the liner inside out.

2) Hand wash the liner in warm water (30°C) using neutral detergent (e.g.453H10=1 Ottobock

Derma Clean).

3) Thoroughly rinse the liner with clear water until all detergent residues have been removed.

4) Turn the liner again so the outer side/textile material is on the outside.

5) Put a towel into the liner and allow the liner to dry lying flat on a drying rack. Alternatively, use

a drying stand (5Y100=*).

NOTICE! Liner with textile cover: To avoid damaging the liner, dry it with the textile

material on the outside.

Cleaning the outside

►Clean the outside of the liner approximately every 1 or 2 weeks. The procedure is the same as

for the inside of the liner.

Cleaning the magnetic cap

►Clean the cap with a dry or moist cloth.

7 Shipment

There must not be any significant magnetic effect on the outside of the packaging when the

product is shipped. The provisions of the shipper must be observed.

1) Keep the original packaging in case the product needs to be shipped.

2) Tip: Tilt the packaging at a 45° angle and place a paper clip on it. If the paper clip slides off,

no magnetic effect is present.

8 Disposal

In some jurisdictions it is not permissible to dispose of the product with unsorted household

waste. Improper disposal can be harmful to health and the environment. Observe the information

provided by the responsible authorities in your country regarding return, collection and disposal

procedures.

INFORMATION

►L’appareillage du patient avec le manchon doit commencer au plus tard à la date imprimée

sur le côté intérieur de l’emballage ou sur l’étiquette (DLUO).

1.1 Fonctionnement

Le manchon 6Y200 relie le moignon à l’emboîture Varos 5A60 et réduit les contraintes exercées

sur le moignon. Le manchon présente un revêtement textile et un capuchon magnétique qui amé

liorent le maintien du manchon dans l’emboîture de prothèse.

1.2 Combinaisons possibles

Le produit est compatible avec les produits Ottobock indiqués. La fonctionnalité n’a pas été tes

tée avec des produits d’autres fabricants.

Limitations de combinaisons pour les composants Ottobock

Le manchon ne peut être combiné qu'avec l'emboîture fémorale Varos 5A60=* (produit princi

pal).

5 Mise en service du produit

5.1 Sélection de la taille

INFORMATION

Veillez à sélectionner une taille correcte pour le manchon. Ci-dessous, nous vous proposons

une liste des problèmes potentiels.

►Manchon trop court: sensation d’engourdissement, formation de cloques, mouvements

verticaux dans l’emboîture

►Manchon trop grand: augmentation de la transpiration, rotation du moignon dans le man

chon, formation de cloques, éruptions cutanées

1) Mesurer la circonférence proximale du moignon à 3cm en dessous du périnée.

2) Mesurer la circonférence distale du moignon 5cm au dessus de l'extrémité du moignon.

3) Mesurer la longueur du moignon entre le pubis et l’extrémité du moignon. En cas de tissus

mous excédentaires, les adapter dans l'axe longitudinal du moignon.

4) Sélectionner le manchon de la taille correspondant à la dimension mesurée (voir page 2).

Option: si la mesure se situe entre deux tailles, essayer l’autre taille.

5) Vérifier que la forme du manchon est appropriée.

5.2 Ajustement du manchon

Détermination de la longueur

1) Ajouter 5cm à la longueur de moignon déjà mesurée et apposer une marque sur la couture

médiale du manchon.

2) Marquer le contour de découpe sur le manchon avant de le découper.

3) Enfiler le manchon (consulter la page17).

4) Juste au dessous du périnée, apposer une marque sur la couture médiale du manchon.

5) Retirer à nouveau le manchon (consulter la page17).

6) Marquer le contour de découpe et découper le manchon à la longueur finale.

Marquage du contour et découpe du manchon

>Outils recommandés pour les manchons avec textile externe : ciseaux de coupe 719S7,

ciseaux à fibres synthétiques 719S20 ou ciseaux classiques à lames lisses

1) Poser le manchon sur l’établi de sorte que la couture médiale avec le marquage en position

centrale soit placée vers le haut.

2) Placer le gabarit de coupe côté médial sur le manchon en prenant le marquage comme re

père (voir ill.1).

3) Reporter les contours du gabarit sur le manchon à l'aide d'une craie.

4) Retourner le manchon de sorte que la couture latérale soit placée au centre vers le haut.

5) Tourner le gabarit de coupe et le placer sur le manchon (voir ill.2). Pour la hauteur, prendre

pour repères les extrémités des contours marqués sur la partie médiale.

6) Reporter les contours du gabarit sur le manchon à l'aide d'une craie.

7) AVIS! Ne pas utiliser de ciseaux crantés.

Découper le manchon en suivant les contours de découpe dessinés. L’extrémité du manchon

doit alors toujours se trouver à l’extérieur de l’emboîture.

6 Utilisation

PRUDENCE

Utilisation de poudre (parex. poudre pour bébé, talc)

thèse occasionnées par une obturation due aux particules ou à l’élimination de lubrifiant

►Tenez le produit éloigné de la poudre.

Surcharge mécanique

Fonctions limitées en raison d’un endommagement mécanique

►Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez que le produit n’est pas endommagé.

►N’utilisez pas le produit si ses fonctions sont limitées.

►Si besoin, prenez les mesures nécessaires (parex. réparation, remplacement, contrôle par

le service après-vente du fabricant, etc.).

6.1 Mise en place et retrait du manchon

Mise en place

INFORMATION

Portez le manchon directement sur la peau. Les tissus qui se trouvent entre la peau et le man

chon peuvent provoquer des irritations cutanées.

En cas de survenue d’une réaction allergique, interrompez l’utilisation du produit et consultez

votre médecin.

1) Vérifier que le manchon et le capuchon magnétique ne sont pas endommagés. Retirer les ob

jets adhérant au capuchon magnétique.

2) Enrouler le manchon, puis le placer sur l’extrémité du moignon.

3) Aligner le manchon (marquage d’orientation au milieu de la face avant du moignon, capuchon

magnétique dans l’axe longitudinal du moignon).

4) Dérouler le manchon sans faire de plis ni déplacer de tissus mous et en évitant la formation

de poches d’air.

5) Vérifier que la position et l’orientation du manchon sont correctes.

INFORMATION: L’extrémité des manchons ne doit pas se trouver à l’intérieur de

l’emboîture.

6) Recouvrir l’emboîture de prothèse comme décrit dans la notice d’utilisation de l’emboîture.

Retrait

1) Retirez le manchon en le faisant rouler sur le moignon.

2) Recommandation: nettoyez le manchon (consulter la page17).

6.2 Nettoyage et entretien

AVIS

Utilisation de détergents inadaptés

Dégradation du produit occasionnée par l’utilisation d’un détergent inadapté

►Nettoyez le produit uniquement avec les détergents autorisés.

INFORMATION

En cas de transpiration importante, nettoyez plus fréquemment le manchon et la peau.

L’utilisation d’un manchon requiert quotidiennement un soin intensif de la peau. Ottobock re

commande pour cela le système de protection de la peau Derma.

Nettoyage de la face intérieure

1) Tourner le côté intérieur du manchon vers l’extérieur.

2) Laver le manchon à la main, à l’eau chaude (30°C), avec un savon au pH neutre (parex.

Ottobock Derma Clean 453H10=1).

3) Rincer abondamment le manchon à l’eau claire de manière à éliminer tous les résidus de sa

von.

4) Retourner de nouveau le manchon de telle sorte que la partie externe/le textile se trouve à

l’extérieur.

5) Insérer une serviette dans le manchon et faire sécher le manchon à plat sur un séchoir à

linge. Il est également possible d’utiliser un séchoir (5Y100=*).

AVIS! Manchon avec textile externe: faire sécher le manchon avec le textile vers

l’extérieur afin de prévenir toute détérioration.

Nettoyage de la face extérieure

►Nettoyez la face extérieure à une fréquence de 1 à 2 semaines. Suivez la même procédure

que pour la face intérieure du manchon.

Nettoyage du capuchon magnétique

►Nettoyez le capuchon avec un chiffon sec ou humide.

7 Envoi

En cas d’envoi du produit, aucune action magnétique significative ne doit survenir sur le côté ex

térieur du colis. Les dispositions de l’entreprise d’expédition doivent être respectées.

1) Conservez l'emballage d'origine pour le cas où le produit doive être expédié.

2) Conseil : inclinez l'emballage de 45° et posez-y un trombone dessus. Si le trombone glisse, il

n'y a pas de magnétisme.

8 Mise au rebut

Il est interdit d’éliminer ce produit n’importe où avec des ordures ménagères non triées. Une

mise au rebut non conforme peut avoir des répercussions négatives sur l’environnement et la san

té. Respectez les prescriptions des autorités compétentes de votre pays concernant les procé

dures de retour, de collecte et de recyclage des déchets.

1.1 Funzionamento

Il liner 6Y200 collega il moncone con l'invasatura protesica Varos 5A60 e riduce le forze che agi

scono sul moncone. Il liner è dotato di un rivestimento in tessuto e di un cappuccio magnetico,

che migliorano l'aderenza del liner all'invasatura protesica.

1.2 Possibilità di combinazione

Il prodotto è compatibile con i prodotti Ottobock indicati. La funzionalità con prodotti di altri fab

bricanti non è stata testata.
