HOTAS Warthog - Firmware update procedure
Before proceeding with the HOTAS Warthog Firmware update, be sure that:
- The two HOTAS Warthog components are
installed correctly and appear as standard HID-
compliant game controller in Device Manager:
- Both devices should also be working correctly in
Game Controller:
If one or both of the HOTAS Warthog components are not enumerated correctly, or display a in Device
Manager, try connecting them to another USB port.
If after many attempts the devices are still not enumerated correctly, please contact Technical Support
which will guide you through the necessary steps.
2) Launch the Firmware updater program:
Windows 10/8.1: From the Start menu, start typing the words Firmware Update. This will bring up the Search
function, giving you access to the Firmware application
Windows 7: Start > Programs > Thrustmaster > Hotas Warthog > Firmware Update
Under Device, the two HOTAS Warthog components will appear. The current Firmware version present in the
device is displayed.
The Firmware window displays the information relative to the Firmware version that will be applied to the
selected device.
3) Select the component you wish to update. When you are ready to proceed, click OK.
Before the
process begins,
the
Thrustmaster Warthog Bulk Driver will be automatically installed.
The update process will then run its course and the progress will be displayed.
Once the process is completed and successful, click OK to exit the updater application.
Repeat the process for the other HOTAS Warthog component.
4) After both components’s Firmware have been updated, verify that both devices are still working correctly in
Game Controller.
HOTAS Warthog - Procédure de mise à jour manuelle du firmware
1) Avant d’effectuer la mise à jour du firmware du HOTAS
Warthog, assurez-vous que :
- Les deux composants HOTAS Warthog sont
correctement installés et apparaissent comme
Contrôleur de jeu HID dans le Gestionnaire de
périphériques :
- Les deux périphériques doivent également
fonctionner correctement dans la fenêtre
Contrôleurs de jeu :
Si l’un des deux composants ou les deux composants HOTAS Warthog ne sont pas correctement énumérés, ou
qu’un symbole apparaît dans le Gestionnaire de périphériques, branchez-le (les) périphériques(s)
concerné(s) sur un autre port USB.
Si, après plusieurs tentatives, les périphériques ne sont toujours pas correctement énumérés, contactez
le Support technique qui vous guidera tout au long de la procédure.
2) Lancez le programme de mise à jour du firmware :
Windows 10/8.1: Dans le menu Accueil, tapez Firmware Update. Ceci fera apparaitre le menu Rechercher,
vous donnant accès au logiciel de mise à jour du firmware de votre volant.
Windows 7: Démarrer > Programmes > Thrustmaster > Hotas Warthog > Firmware Update
Les deux composants HOTAS Warthog apparaissent dans la zone Device, avec la version actuelle du firmware
utilisé par chaque périphérique.
La fenêtre Firmware affiche les informations relatives à la version du firmware qui sera appliquée au
périphérique sélectionné.
3) Sélectionnez le composant que vous souhaitez mettre à jour. Lorsque vous êtes prêt, cliquez sur OK.
Avant que la mise à jour commence, le Bulk Driver Thrustmaster Warthog s’installe automatiquement.
La mise à jour se lance ensuite et une barre indique la progression de l’installation.
Lorsque la mise à jour est terminée et réussie, cliquez sur OK pour quitter le programme de mise à jour.
Répétez la procédure pour l’autre composant HOTAS Warthog.
4) Lorsque le firmware des deux composants a été mis à jour, vérifiez que les deux périphériques fonctionnent
correctement dans la fenêtre Contrôleurs de jeu.

1) Bevor Sie mit dem HOTAS Warthog Firmwareupdate beginnen, stellen Sie sicher, daß:
- Die beiden HOTAS Warthog Komponenten korrekt
installiert sind und beide als Standard-HID-
konformer Gamecontroller im Geräte-Manager
erscheinen:
- Beide Geräte sollten auch im Gamecontroller
korrekt funktionieren:
Sollte eine oder beide der HOTAS Warthog Komponenten nicht korrekt aufgeführt oder ein
im Geräte-Manager zeigen, versuchen Sie den Anschluß an einem anderen USB-Port.
Falls nach mehreren Versuchen die Geräte immer noch nicht korrekt aufgeführt werden, nehmen Sie
bitte Kontakt zu unserem Technischen Support auf, der Sie durch die erforderlichen Schritte leiten wird.
2) Starten Sie das Firmware-Updaterprogramm:
Windows 10/8.1: Geben Sie über das Start-Menü die Wörter „Firmware Update“ ein. So rufen Sie die Suche
auf, über die Sie zur App für das Firmware-Update gelangen.
Windows 7: Start > Programme > Thrustmaster > Hotas Warthog > Firmware Update
Unter Gerät (Device), erscheinen die beiden HOTAS Warthog Komponenten. Die aktuell im Gerät befindliche
Firmwareversion wird angezeigt.
Das Firmware-Fenster zeigt die bezügliche Firmwareversion an, die dem ausgewählten Gerät hinzugefügt wird.
3) Wählen Sie die zu aktualisierende Komponente aus. Wenn Sie zum Fortfahren bereit sind, klicken Sie auf
OK.
Bevor der Prozess startet, wird der Thrustmaster Warthog Bulk Treiber automatisch installiert.
Der Updateprozess läuft nun ab und der Fortschritt wird angezeigt.
Ist der Prozess erfolgreich abgeschlossen, klicken Sie auf OK, um die Updater-Applikation zu beenden.
Wiederholen Sie den Prozess für die andere HOTAS Warthog Komponente.
4) Nachdem die Firmware beider Komponenten Firmware aktualisiert wurden,vergewissern Sie sich bitte, daß
beide Geräte korrekt im Gamecontroller funktionieren.

3) 选择想要更新的组件。准备继续时，点击 OK（确定）。在开始更新之前，会自动安装
Thrustmaster Warthog Bulk Driver。
然后，更新过程会继续进行并显示进度。
更新成功完成之后，点击 OK（确定）退出更新程序。
对另一个 HOTAS Warthog 组件重复执行该过程。
4) 两个组件的固件均更新之后，在游戏控制器中验证两个设备仍可正常工作。
