Foreword
Thank you for purchasing the Ibanez product. Read this manual thoroughly prior to using your
amplifier in order to get the most out of the functions available. Ensure that this manual is also
stored in a safe place.
Precautions during use
1) This product is capable of producing extremely high volumes. In some cases, this could
damage your hearing or cause other bodily impairment. You must be careful of the volume when
using this product.
2) Use this product with a power supply of the voltage that is printed on the product itself.
3) Place this product near the main power outlet, and ensure that the main power plug can be
easily disconnected from the main power outlet if any problem should occur.
4) This device contains a fuse for protection. The fuse may be broken due to external physical
shock or because it has reached the end of its lifetime, but since a broken fuse may indicate that
a serious internal malfunction has occurred, please contact your dealer before replacing the fuse.
5) When you are not using it, leave the power turned off. As long as this product is connected to
an electrical outlet, it is no completely insulated from the power supply even if the power switch
is turned off. If you will not be using this product for an extended period, leave the power cable
disconnected.
6) Do not turn off the power switch or disconnect the plug from the AC outlet while the device is
operating. Doing so may cause malfunctions.
7) Do not stand on this device or place heavy objects on it. Doing so may cause breakage or
malfunctions.
8) When the LED indicator dims, the sound quality will drop remarkably. Replace the battery
immediately.
9) When not using the unit for a long time, remove the battery to avoid damage from battery
leakage.
10) You must use the included AC adaptor. Using any other AC adaptor may cause serious
irreparable damage, malfunctions, noise, or fire.

11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold
with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combina-
tion to avoid injury from tip-over.
13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14) Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus
has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
15) Minimum distances of 20cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
16) Do not install this equipment in a confined space such as a book case or similar unit. The
ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as news
paper, table-cloths, curtains etc.
17) WARNING: The mains plug/appliance coupler is used as disconnect device, the disconnect
device shall remain readily operable.
18) WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain
or moisture. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that objects filled

Cautions
Do not operate with wet hands
Do not connect or disconnect the power cable while your hands are wet. You risk
electrical shock if you do so.
Handle the plug with caution
When unplugging the cable, be sure to grasp the plug itself. If you unplug the power
cable by pulling the cable itself, you risk damaging the cable, possibly causing fire or
electrical shock.
Do not place the device in locations of high humidity
Do not use this device in locations of high humidity such as near a bath or humidifier, or
in the rain, or near a body of water. Doing so may cause fire or electrical shock.
Do not place water or chemicals on the device
To avoid the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not place flower vases, drinks, cosmetics,
or containers of chemicals or water on top of this device.
Disconnect the power cable if you will be away
If you won’t be using the device for an extended period of time, disconnect the plug
from the AC outlet for safety.
Do not use the device at high volume levels for a long time
Using the device at high volume levels through headphones or speakers for a long time
may cause permanent hearing loss depending on the output volume setting.

Non utilizzare l’apparecchio con le mani bagnate
Non collegare o scollegare il cavo di alimentazione con le mani bagnate per evitare

Solución de problemas
1. No se puede conectar la alimentación
• Compruebe que el cable de alimentación está correctamente enchufado.
• Intente enchufarlo a una toma de corriente diferente a ver si persiste el mismo problema.
2. Se puede conectar la alimentación, pero no se obtiene sonido
• Compruebe que la guitarra ha sido conectada correctamente.
• Elimine los efectos entre la guitarra y el amplificador y compruebe a ver si se obtiene
sonido.
• Cambie el cable blindado y compruebe si se obtiene sonido.
• Compruebe si el volumen de la guitarra está puesto a "0".
• Utilice una guitarra diferente y vea si se obtiene sonido.
• Compruebe si el volumen del amplificador está puesto en "0".
• Compruebe si están conectados los auriculares.
3. Se produce ruido
• Compruebe si hay algo cerca que esté resonando o golpeando contra el amplificador

• Compruebe si la acción de las cuerdas (distancia entre las cuerdas y el traste) está
correctamente ajustada (que no esté demasiado baja).
• Utilice otra guitarra, efectos y cable a ver si se produce el mismo ruido.
4. No sale sonido por los auriculares
• Compruebe que la clavija de los auriculares está correctamente conectada.
• Conecte otros auriculares a ver si se obtiene sonido.
En caso de defectos
Este producto ha pasado por unas inspecciones muy exhaustivas antes de salir de fábrica.
Cuando piense que hay un problema, asegúrese de realizar los procedimientos indicados
arriba. En el improbable caso de que ocurriera alguna anormalidad durante la utilización,
póngase en contacto con su distribuidor. Además, cuando solicite reparaciones, asegúrese de

GUITAR input
Terminal de entrada para clavijas de 1/4 de pulgada. Permite conectar una guitarra
eléctrica con un cable blindado para guitarras.
DC input
12V DC entrada. Centro positivo, exterior negativo. Use sólo el adaptador del CA
incluido.
POWER sw
Este interruptor conecta o desconecta la alimentación. El indicador LED se ilumina
cuando se activa el amplificador. Cuando no esté utilizando el amplificador, déjelo
desconectado.
CD/AUX input
Mini jack estéreo de 3,5mm. Esta entrada está diseñada para conectarse a la salida de
auriculares de un reproductor de CD o MP3 portátil, o un dispositivo similar. Utilice el
control de volumen de su reproductor portátil junto con el control de volumen del
amplificador para ajustar el volumen.
Headphones output
Toma de salida para auriculares estereofónicos con clavija 3.5mm. Cuando se utilizan los

Advertencia
La salida para auriculares produce un gran volumen de sonido. Antes de comenzar a
tocar utilizando los auriculares, reduzca el volumen principal; seguidamente súbalo
lentamente hasta obtener el nivel que desee. Tenga en cuenta que el ruido y las señales
de sonido distorsionado producidas al introducir o extraer la clavija con un volumen
alto no solamente dañará los auriculares, sino que también podrá dañar sus oídos.
HOT GUITAR distortion switch
Al pulsar este botón se activará la distorsión interna para señal de entrada de Guitarra.
TREBLE control
Controla la gama de altas frecuencias para señal de entrada de Guitarra o Bajo.
CONTOUR control
Permite ajustar el tono en la frecuencia media y grave para señal de entrada de Guitarra o
Bajo.
VOLUME control
Permite regular el nivel de salida tanto para la guitarra como para la entrada CD/AUX.

BATTERY BOX

3. Produzione rumore
• Verificare se niente nell'immediata vicinanza è risonante o batte contro l'amplificatore e
produce il rumore.
• Verificare se il rivestimento della spina del cavo schermato è allentato.
• Verificare che il gioco delle corde (distanza fra le corde e le sbarrette trasversali) sia regolato
correttamente (non tropo in basso).
• Usare chitarra, effetti e cavo differenti per verificare se viene prodotto lo stesso rumore.
4. Nessun suono è prodotto nelle cuffie
• Controllare che il jack delle cuffie sia incorrettamente nella presa.
• Collegare un altro paio di cuffie e verificare se il suono è prodotto.
In caso di difetti
Questo prodotto è stato sottoposto a rigide ispezioni prima di essere spedito dalla fabbrica.
Accertarsi che i procedimenti sopraelencati siano seguiti quando si pensa di trovarsi di fronte
ad un problema. Rivolgersi al rivenditore nell'eventualità che si verifichi qualche anomalia

GUITAR input
Ingresso audio per jack da 1/4". Serve per collegare la chitarra elettrica mediante l'uso di

DC input
Ingresso per alimentatore 12V DC (Polo caldo al centro – Polo freddo all’esterno). Si
raccomanda di usare esclusivamente l’alimentatore incluso.
POWER sw
È l'inerruttore per accendere/spegnere l’unità. Quando questa è accesa, la spia LED si

CD/AUX input
Mini jack stereo da 3.5mm. Ideati per essere collegati all’uscita della cuffia di un CD o
MP3 portatile, o dispositivo simile. Usare il controllo del volume del lettore CD portatile e
il volume MASTER per regolare il volume generale.
Headphones output
Jack stereo da 3.5mm per l'uscita di un segnale audio mono. Il suono non viene riprodotto

Attenzione

BATTERY BOX

Im Falle von Defekten
Dieses Produkt wurde im Rahmen der Qualitätskontrolle vor der Auslieferung gründlich
überprüft. Überprüfen Sie den Verstärker deshalb bei eventuell auftretenden Problemen
zuerst anhand der obigen Punkte. Sollten während des Betriebs Störungen auftreten, wenden
Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler. Erklären Sie das Problem bei notwendigen Reparaturen
bitte möglichst genau, damit sich die Ursache so schnell wie möglich auffinden lässt.

Headphones output
Cette prise de 3.5mm permet de raccorder un casque d'écoute stéréo. Le son des
haut-parleurs intégrés est coupé lorsque vous branchez un casque d'écoute à cette prise.
Avertissement
La sortie casque délivre un signal très puissant. Avant de jouer avec un casque
d'écoute, veillez à diminuer le niveau de sortie avec la commande MASTER.
Augmentez progressivement le volume de sorte à obtenir un niveau d'écoute
confortable. Notez que lorsque le volume d'écoute est élevé, les bruits engendrés lors
du branchement ou du débranchement des fiches risquent d'endommager non
seulement le casque d'écoute, mais également votre ouïe.
HOT GUITAR distortion switch
La mise en fonction de ce commutateur met hors circuit le pré-amplificateur et active la
distorsion intégrée sur le signal d'entrée Guitare.
TREBLE control
Cette commande contrôle la plage des fréquences hautes du signal d'entrée Guitare ou
Basse.
CONTOUR control
Il ajuste la tonalité dans la bande des fréquences medium et basses du signal d’entrée
Guitare ou Basse.
VOLUME control
Cette commande contrôle le volume de sortie.
HOT BASS mid-boost switch
La mise en fonction de ce commutateur met hors circuit le pré-amplificateur et active le
circuit medium boost sur le signal d'entrée Basse.
BATTERY BOX
On peut utiliser une pile 9V ou l'adaptateur AC/DC. Lorsque la prise de l’adaptateur DC
est branchée, le circuit de la pile est coupé.
1. Impossible de mettre l'appareil sous tension
• Vérifiez si le câble d'alimentation est raccordé correctement.
• Essayez de le brancher dans une autre prise secteur pour voir si le même problème se
reproduit.
2. L'appareil se met sous tension, mais pas de son
• Vérifiez si l’instrument est raccordé correctement.
• Retirez les effets entre la guitare et l'amplificateur pour voir si le son est reproduit.
• Remplacez le câble blindé pour voir si le son est reproduit.
• Vérifiez si le volume de la guitare est réglé à "0".
• Utilisez une autre guitare pour voir si le son est reproduit.
• Vérifiez si le volume de l'amplificateur est réglé à "0".
• Vérifiez si le casque d'écoute est raccordé.
3. Bruit
• Vérifiez s'il y a quelque chose à proximité immédiate qui résonne ou qui frappe contre
l'amplificateur.
• Vérifiez si le cache de la fiche du câble blindé est bien en place.
• Vérifiez si la distance entre les cordes et les frettes de la guitare est correcte (pas trop basse).
• Utilisez une autre guitare, un autre effet et un autre câble pour voir si le même bruit se
reproduit.
4. Pas de son au casque d'écoute
• Vérifiez si la fiche du casque est branchée correctement.
• Raccordez un autre casque pour voir si le son est reproduit.
En cas d'anomalie
L'appareil a subi des inspections rigoureuses avant de quitter nos usines. Si vous rencontrez
une anomalie, effectuez les opérations ci-dessus. Dans le cas peu probable où il se produirait
une anomalie pendant l'utilisation, consultez votre revendeur. Par ailleurs, si vous faites une
demande de réparation, expliquez bien les problèmes en détail de façon à permettre une
réparation rapide et adéquate.

1. The power supply cannot be switched ON.
• Check that the power cable has been connected correctly.
• Try plugging it into a different power supply socket and see if the same problem occurs.
2. The power supply can be turned ON, but no sound is produced.
• Check that the guitar has been connected correctly.
• Remove the effects between the guitar and the amplifier and check to see if no sound is
produced.
• Replace the shielded cable and check to see if no sound is produced.
• Check to see if the volume on the guitar is set to “0”.
• Use a different guitar and see if no sound is produced.
• Check to see if the volume on the amplifier is set to “0”
• Check to see if the headphones are connected.
3. Noise is produced
• Check to see if anything in the immediate vicinity is resonating or banging against the
amplifier to produce the noise.
• Check to see if the plug cover on the shielded cable is loose.
• Check that the string action (distance between strings and frets) is correctly adjusted (not too
low).
• Use another guitar, effects and cable to see if the same noise is produced.
4. No sound is produced in the headphones
• Check that the headphones jack is connected correctly.
• Connect another set of headphones and see if sound is produced.
In the case of defects
This product has passed exhaustive inspections before being shipped from the factory. Ensure
that the above procedures are carried out when a problem is thought to exist. Contact your
dealer in the unlikely event that an abnormality occurs durig use. Also, ensure that the
symptoms of the problem are explained in detail when requesting repair in order to facilitate
swift handling.

GUITAR input
Standard 1/4” jack. Make the connection from the electric guitar or bass guitar with a
guitar shielded cable.
DC input
12V DC input. Center Hot, Sleeve cold. Use only the included AC adaptor.
POWER sw
This switch turns the power on and off. An LED lights when the power is turned on.
Ensure that this switch is set to OFF when the amplifier is not in use.
CD/AUX input
3.5mm stereo mini jack. This jack is designed to be connected to the headphone output of
a portable CD or MP3 player, or similar device. Use the volume control of your portable
player along with the volume control on the amp to adjust the desired volume.
Headphones output
This is a 3.5mm stereo mini output jack for stereo headphones. The sound is not
reproduced through the built-in speaker when headphones are in use.
Warning
This phones output produces a large volume of sound. Ensure that the volume has been
turned down before beginning to play using the headphones, and then slowly increase
the volume until it has reached the desired level. Note that the noise and distorted
sound signals produced when inserting or removing the headphone plug at heigh
volume levels will result in damage to the headphones and to the user’s hearing.
HOT GUITAR distortion switch
Engaging this switch will activate the onboard distortion circuit for Guitar input signal.
TREBLE control
This adjusts the tone in the high frequency band for Guitar or Bass Guitar input signal.
CONTOUR control
This adjusts the tone in the mid frequency and bass frequency balance for Guitar or Bass
Guitar input signal.
VOLUME control
This controls the output level for both Guitar and CD/AUX input.
HOT BASS mid-boost switch
Engaging this switch will activate the mid boost circuit for Bass Guitar input signal.
BATTERY BOX
9V battery can be used alternatively to the AC/DC adapter. While a DC plug is connected,
battery line is cut off.
