When operating DRD28A audio processor and system, Please carry on the operation
according to the below security principle:
Warning: Please do not operate C-MARK DRD28A audio processor when the processor
protecting cover is unloaded.
l In order to avoid damaging C-MARK DRD28A audio processor, please guarantee the voltage on
power supply equipment to be the same with the AC power supply at your location.
In most north and south Americas and some Far East countries and regions in , for
example, Japanese, South Korean and Taiwan, the voltage is 115V/60Hz
While in most countries in Europe, the Middle East and Far East, the voltage is 230V/50Hz ,
please guarantee that rated voltage value of the additional auxiliary equipment to be set in
accordance with alternating current power supply in your area.
l Before carrying on internal installation of C-MARK DRD28A processor, please remove the power
supply plug first to avoid electric shock or damaging the motherboard. For some motherboards, as
long as the main engine is connected with the alternating current supply, a continuous circuit flowing
will be available.
l Please do not try repairing C-MARK DRD28A audio processor by yourself, unless you are a
technician and have accepted special training. Please operate strictly according to the installation
instruction.
l In order to avoid electric shock, please connect the power supply cables of C-MARK DRD28A
processor and ancillary equipment to the power socket which grounding correctly. These cables all
have three-phase plugs to guarantee the correct grounding. Please do not use the transfer plug, nor
unload power supply cable's grounded feet. If the extension power supply cable must be used,
please use the three-line cables with correctly grounded plug.
l To avoid potential electric shock, please do not use C-MARK DRD28A under thunderstorms.
l To avoid potential electric shock, please do not connect or disconnect any cable, nor repair or
reconfigure this product.
l Before cleaning C-MARK DRD28A audio processor, please disconnect it from the power supply
socket. Clean the DRD28A with a soft cloth or a brush with soft feathers. Do not use fluid or spray
detergent because they may contain corrosive or inflammable materials.
l To avoid potential damage to the system mother board, please wait 10 seconds after powering off
the DRD28A processor. Then disconnect the devices from DRD28A.

l Please use high-quality surge protectors, voltage regulation, and/or an uninterruptible power supply
(UPS) to avoid instantaneous high- or low-voltage damage to the DRD28A.。
l Make sure there is no strain on the cables to avoid trampling them and stumbling.

Chapter 1 introduction of DRD28A audio processor
The DRD28A audio processor is a 1U device with multifunction of signal mixing, route, equalizer, etc,
which simultaneously handles up to 8 channels analog signal with Line/Mic input.
With an internal 200 MIPS SHARC processor, it processes audio signals with 40-bit floating-point
precision by using C-MARK DRD28A software.
Therefore DRD28A audio processor is capable of processing high quality audio signal. It has been
widely applied in various occasions, including professional and entertainment applications.
1 C-MARK DRD28A FEATURES

3 FRONT PANEL INTRODUCTION

The initiation information is shown when starting the device.
After device starting is completed, the current pre-installation pattern is shown;
Relevant contents will be shown through the rotation of program selection button.

2— Preset program selection button
Select different modes of interface through rotation button. Pre-set program, input channel set and
output channel set are three tacitly approved modes.
Set the above 3 modes of interface by pressing “Down”
(1) Select the needed mode from the 01-08 pre-set modes; when selecting the mode for
changing current pre-set program, “changing mode, please wait…” will be displayed on the LCD
screen. Later it will show the sequence No. and name of the selected program mode.
(2) Set the diameters Of input channel: diameters like input channels sequence No. (IN 1-8),types of
audio input（Line/Mic）,Line property(Sensitivity and Trim),Mic property(gain and phantom power
switch)and norm/anti can be set.
(3) Set the diameters Of output channel: diameters like output channels sequence No. (OUT
1-8),level value(Db), MUTE- Y/N，norm/anti can be set.
3—Corresponding LED light for 1-8 signal input channels
Green light means signal input is available in the channel;
Red light signifies channel examination when starting the device, while after device started; it means
the channel input signal level exceeds the preset threshold.
4—Corresponding LED light for 1-8 signal output channels
Green light means signal output is available in the channel;
Red light signifies channel examination when starting the device, while after device started, it means
the channel output signal level exceeds the preset threshold.
4 Rear panel instructions

The DB9 female head can be interconnected to computers or other equipment through the RS232
agreement.

Chapter 3 System installation
C-MARK DRD28A equipment is simple to be installed and used. You only need to connect C-MARK the
DRD28A to a computer with the serial port cable. Then by operating the software of the computer, the
processing and setup of 8 channels’ audio signal input can be achieved.
A consolette can be set up through software control of C-MARK the DRD28A. It is suggested that this
mode be used in small audio amplifying fields.
The operation and installation steps are as follows:
Step 1:
Connect C-MARK DRD28A equipment with the computer directly through a serial port cable, and
connect the audio source input to the Line/MIC input interface of C-MARK DRD28A rear panel,
and connect the external amplifying device to the output interface of the rear panel (shown as the
following schematic drawing).

Step 2:
Switch on C-MARK DRD28A equipment, then wait for the lighting of its LCD screen and all indicating
light, and enters the normal working condition.
Step 3:
Add C-MARK DRD28A to its software. For more details, please refer to the chapter four “Fast
installation setting of the control software”.
Step 4:
Adjust the parameter setting of C-MARK DRD28A DSP processor through the DRD28A software in
line with application requirement.
Step 5:
By downloading current DSP parameter setting, the DRD28A can work seperately according to the
setup parameter, with computer control no longer needed.

FAQ Answers to frequently asked questions
1．What features does C-MARK DRD28A has?
C-MARK DRD28A audio processor has 8 analog input and 8 analog output ports. It can
simultaneously process 8 channels signal through the analog input, and output the signal to the
corresponding port. Point to point or point to multipoint signal transmission can be realized。
Specially designed DRD28A software helps the testers to carry on the system setting conveniently.
This software is direct-viewing. By dragging the mouse, you can complete may complete the
parameter setting of the audio signal transmitting. All the parameter settings are solidified in the
equipment. Once the setting is completed, the system can work separately from the computer.
2．What is the delay for C-MARK DRD28A?
The delay can reach 87s when the signal is transmitted through C-MARK DRD28A.
3．Must there be a real-time connection between C-MARK DRD28A software system and C-MARK
DRD28A system?
No. Each DRD28A equipment has memory cells, once the route connection setting is completed, we
only need to download and solidify this setting information to C-MARK DRD28A equipment, and the
DRD28A system will run separately, without any connection to the computer.
4．In which fields can C-MARK DRD28A be applied?
C-MARK DRD28A audio processor can be widely used in fields such as stadiums, schools, hotels,
parks.
5．Why can not C-MARK DRD28A software work properly?
Check whether C-MARK DRD28A software has been installed.
6．Why can not the route configuration information be downloaded to correctly to the DRD28A
equipment?
Please check whether the equipment is online, or whether the parameter configuration in software is
consistent with the actual parameters or the equipment is connected correctly.

第一章 C-MARK DRD28A 介绍说明
C-MARK DRD28A 音频处理器产品是1U尺寸大小的，具有信号混合、路由，均衡等多种处理功能的一种
设备，可同时处理8路Line/Mic输入的模拟音频信号。它内建一颗200MIPS的SHARC处理器，通过C-MARK
DRD28A软件以40位浮点运算的精度来处理音频信号。因此C-MARK DRD28A设备可以处理和传输高品质的音
频信号，从而适用于多种不同的领域，包括专业场所和社会场所。
1.C-MARK DRD28A 产品特点
l 具有强大计算功能的 DSP 处理器。
l 支持 40 位精度的浮点运算能力。
l 内建多种多样的音频算法处理模块。
l 8 个平衡模拟输入，8 个平衡模拟输出。
l 每个 MIC/Line 输入通道的增益 0dB 到+66dB。
l 每个通道的 48V 幻象电源可独立控制。
l 预设 8 种不同的 DSP 处理模式并可通过前置面板进行选择设定。
l 可通过 PC 计算机基于 Windows系统进行配置，操作简单方便易于掌握。
l 可适应不同的应用需求，应用场所广泛。
2.DSP 处理器功能
l 延时器：提供 50ms，100ms，200ms，500ms，1000ms 多种延时模式。
l 路由器：4x4.8x8,16x16 路由器。
l 混音器：4x1,4x2,4x4,8x1,8x2,8x4,8x8 混音器。
l 动态处理器：包含自动增益器，压限器，限制器，噪声门，扩展器，削峰器。
l 信号产生器：可产生正弦波，白噪声，粉噪声。
l 均衡器：参数均衡器和图像均衡器。
l 滤波器：低通滤波器，高通滤波器，低通斜坡滤波器，高通斜坡滤波器。
l 分频器：2 波段分频器，3 波段分频器，4 波段分频器。
l 电平表：1 通道电平表，2 通道电平表，8 通道电平表。
3.前面板说明
C-MARK DRD28A 前面板示意图如下
1-LCD 显示屏
开机启动时显示初始化信息；
开机完成后显示当前的预设模式；
通过程序选择旋钮的转动会显示相应的内容；

通过“旋转”旋钮选择不同模式界面，默认的有预设程序，输入通道设定，输出通道设

定这三种界面；
通过“按下”旋钮对上述三种模式界面进行相应设置：
（1） 在预设模式 01--08 中选择需要的模式；当选择改变当前的预设程序时，LCD 屏幕会显示“ changing
mode, please wait…（正在切换模式，请稍候…）”,稍后就会显示选定的程序模式的序号和名称；
（2）对输入通道的参数进行设定；可 对 输 入 通 道 的 序号（IN 1 — 8 ），音源输入的种类（Line/Mic）,Line
属性（ 灵敏度和 Trim 值）， Mic 属性（ 增益大小和幻象电源开关）， 是 否 反 转 （ norm/anti）等进行设置；
（3） 对输出通道参数进行设定；可 对 输出通道的序号（OUT 1 — 8 ），电 平 dB 值，是否静音（ MUTE- Y/N），
是 否 反 转 (norm/anti)等进行设置；
3—输入信号通道 1—8 对应的 LED 灯
绿灯表示该通道有信号输入;
红灯在开机时表示正在检测该通道，在正常开机后表示该通道输入信号电平超出预设的阀值；

4.后面板说明
C-MARK DRD28A 后面板示意图如下
1— 电源插座 100-240V AC 50/60Hz
2— 电源开关 ON/OFF
ON 表示电源接通；OFF 表示电源切断；
3— RS232
DB9 母头，可通过 RS232 协议与计算机或其它设备通讯互联；
4— RS485
DB9 母头，可通过 RS485 协议与其它设备实现通讯互联；
5— 外部控制口
DB25母头，通过GPIO信号来实现对处理器内部的控制；
6— 输入口 1,2,3,4：
每个输入口包含两个通道，向 C-MARK DRD28A 音频处理器输入音频信号；
7— 输出口 1,2,3,4：
每个输出口包含两个通道，将 C-MARK DRD28A 处理后的音频信号输出到对应的设备；
