A humming sound can be heard during fan rotation and is not a
malfunction.
A buzzing or twittering sound can be heard during induction heating

cooking.
Bubbles are generated by boiling and it is not a malfunction.

The rice cooker beeps if no operation is performed within approximately 30
seconds after pressing the [Timer• ] key, however, the Timer function
can be set without interruption.

Water or rice has entered the main
body of the rice cooker.
Water or rice inside the rice cooker unit may cause problems. Contact the

When setting the current time,
pressing the [Hour• ] or [Min• ]
key does not access the time setting
mode.
The time cannot be set during cooking, when the Keep Warm function is
on, when the Timer function is in use, or during reheating.

when it is left. Serve it as soon as

If the blurring becomes bothersome,
wipe the display using a rmly wrung
out cloth. The static electricity is

using the “Slow Cook•Soup” menu is
kept warm.
Was the Keep Warm function used continuously for more than 6 hours
after cooking?

on the dirty inner lid.
Thoroughly clean the inner lid using

Is “Eco” selected?
When using the “Eco” menu, more condensation may be formed on the
inner lid.
If condensation becomes an issue, it is recommended to use the “Plain”
menu.

The power plug sparks. A tiny spark specic to the induction heating method may occur when the
power plug is connected or disconnected, however, it is not a malfunction. -
There is a smell of plastic. Such smells may occur when the rice cooker is rst used, but they should
go away over time as the rice cooker continues to be used. If this is an
issue, clean the rice cooker according to “Cleaning”.

There are stripes or waves on the
plastic parts.
Such stripes and waves are produced when the resin is being molded.
They do not aect the performance of the rice cooker. -
