Caution
I Always use this product with adult supervision.
I Never use feeding teats as a soother.
I Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause
tooth decay.
I Always check food temperature before feeding.
I Do not warm liquid in a microwave oven as this may cause
uneven heating and could scald your baby.
I Inspect before each use and pull the feeding teat in all
directions. Throw away at the rst signs of damage, mould
or weakness.
I Do not leave the product in direct sunlight or heat, or leave
in disinfectant ("sterilizing solution") for longer than recom-
mended, as this may weaken the teat.
I Never leave packaging and components unattended. Keep
them out of reach of children.
I Don’t use the liquid if bottles or components become
damaged.
I Use the product only for its intended use as described in
this instruction manual.
I Use by more than one baby without adequate reproces-
sing may present a health risk and could cause cross-
contamination.
I Please do not shake the bottle up and down, as it might
cause the liquid to spray out.
I For optimum performance and hygiene reasons, we recom-
mend replacing teats at least every 3 months, or earlier in
case of damage or weakness.
I Do not use metal or sharp objects inside the bottle and with
other parts (e.g. for stirring contents or cleaning) this may
damage them.
I Also, bottles and component parts may become damaged
if mishandled, e.g. dropped, over-tightened, or knocked
over.
I Glass bottles may break easily. When the glass bottle
cracks or shatters, sharp edges and shards may cause
an injury. Take appropriate care in handling bottles and
components.
I The glass bottle becomes very hot after exposure to high
temperatures (e.g. boiling or warming). Please take appro-
priate care when handling bottles to avoid scalding.
I Do not heat closed bottles, as the pressure in the bottle will
increase and might lead to damage, e.g. cracks, explosion.
I Avoid exposing the bottle to high temperature differences,
e.g. putting a cold bottle directly into boiling water or coo-
ling down hot bottle in ice. This may cause bottle damage.
I The glass bottle may be slippery, especially when wet.
Please take appropriate care when handling.
Impor tant information
I The glass bottle is heavier than a polypropylene bottle.
Please take appropriate care when holding the bottle, e.g.
for pumping or feeding.
I Use Medela original accessories only. Use only Medela
accessories contained in the packaging to close the bottle.
I Do not store the glass bottles in the freezer.
