How to use
How to install the ear-clip (see fig. )
Tips
The ear-clips are detachable. Only the right ear-clip is factory-
installed.
The installed cord length should appear as in fig.
-.
1 Confirm the right (marked ) and left (marked )
of earbud and ear-clip.
Fit the ear-clip marked to the cord of the earbud
marked , and fit the ear-clip marked to the cord of
the earbud marked .
There is a tactile dot on the earbud and ear-clip marked
to distinguish the left side (see fig. -).
2 Pass the cord through the notch of the ear-clip (see
fig. -).
3 Press the cord into the recess at the center of the
ear-clip (see fig. --), and push the cord in
the direction of fig. --.
Make sure the cord rests at the bottom of the recess (see
fig. --).
4 Adjust the cord length so that the center of the
earbud is aligned with the lower tip of the ear-clip
(see fig. -).
Pull the cord installed in the ear-clip (see fig. --
), and then pull the cord to adjust the cord length (see
fig. --). Do not pull the cord strongly; the cord
may become damaged.
Wearing the headset (see fig. )
1 Wear the ear-clip marked to your right ear and
the one marked to your left ear (see fig. -).
2 Wear the earbuds in your ears (see fig. -).
Tip
If you want to adjust the cord length, remove the ear-clip from the ear
and adjust the cord length (see fig. -).
How to use the cord slider (see fig. -)
Move up and down to change the split position of the cord.
After you use the headset, keep them with the cord slider
high positioned to avoid entangling the cord.
How to use the remote and microphone
for an iPod (See fig. -)
You can control a connected iPod product.
Parts and controls
Volume +
Increases the volume of the connected iPod product.
Center button
Plays/pauses a track of the connected iPod product with a
single press. Skips to the next track with a double press.
Skips to the previous track with a triple press. Starts the
“VoiceOver*” feature with a long press (if available).
Press once to answer the call. Press again to end.
Hold down for about two seconds to reject an incoming call.
When you let go, two low beeps confirm the call was
rejected.
Volume –
Decreases the volume of the connected iPod product.
Microphone
* Availability of the “VoiceOver” feature depends on iPod and its
software version.
How to install the earbuds correctly
(see fig. )
If the earbuds do not fit your ears correctly, low-bass sound
may not be heard. To enjoy better sound quality, change the
earbuds to another size, or adjust the earbuds position to sit
on your ears comfortably and fit your ears snugly.
If the earbuds do not fit your ears, try another size. Confirm
the size of the earbuds by checking colour inside
(see fig. -).
When you change the earbuds, turn to install them firmly
on the headset to prevent the earbud from detaching and
remaining in your ear.

While holding the headset, twist and pull the earbud off.
Tip
If the earbud slips and cannot be detached, wrap it in a dry soft cloth.

Push the parts inside of the earbud into the headset until the
projecting part of the headset is fully covered.
Cleaning the earbuds
Remove the earbuds from the headset, and wash them with
a mild detergent solution.

Precautions
Please keep your headset clean at all times especially
inside the rubber earbud (see fig. ).
If any dust or ear wax inside the earbud, you may
experience some listening difficulties.
Listening with headset at high volume may affect your
hearing. For traffic safety, do not use while driving or
cycling.
The earbuds may deteriorate due to long-term storage or
use.
Install the earbuds firmly onto the headset. If an earbud
accidentally detaches and is left in your ear, it may cause
injury.
Do not bend the ear-clip excessively. If it is bent 90
degrees or more, it may break.
Be careful not to allow any buttons to be unintentionally
pressed when the headset with iPod connected are in the
supplied carrying pouch, etc.
Note on static electricity
In particularly dry air conditions, mild tingling may be felt
on your ears. This is a result of static electricity accumulated
in the body, and not a malfunction of the headset.
The effect can be minimized by wearing clothes made from
natural materials.
Optional replacement earbuds can be ordered from your
nearest Sony dealer.

注意事項
請隨時保持耳機的清潔,尤其是橡膠耳塞的內部
(見圖
)。
如果耳塞有灰塵或耳垢,您可能會無法順利聆聽音樂。
戴著耳機用很高的音量收聽可能會影響您的聽力。為了
交通安全,切勿在駕車或騎車時使用耳機。
耳塞可能會因為長期存放或使用而損壞。
將耳塞牢固地安裝在耳機上。如果耳塞意外脫落並留在
耳內,可能會造成傷害。
請勿過度彎折耳機夾扣。如果彎折超過90度,可能會
使夾扣斷裂。
當耳機在連接有iPod的情況下置於隨附攜行袋等時,
請小心不要意外按下任何按鈕。
靜電注意事項
在特別乾燥的空氣條件下,耳朵可能會感到輕微刺痛。這
是由於體內積聚的靜電所致,而非耳機故障。穿著天然材
料製成的衣服可將此影響減到最少。
可向附近的 Sony 經銷商訂購選購的替換耳塞。
