Precautions for placement and use
o The operating temperature range of this unit is 5–35 °C.

o To enable good heat dissipation, do not place anything on top of the unit.
o Do not place this unit on top of a power amplifier or other device that

Beware of condensation
Condensation could occur if the unit is moved from a cold place to a warm
place, it is used immediately after a cold room has been heated or it is
otherwise exposed to a sudden temperature change.
To prevent this, or if this occurs, let the unit sit for one or two hours at the
new room temperature before using it.
Cleaning the unit
Use a dry soft cloth to wipe the unit clean. Do not wipe with chemical
cleaning cloths, thinner, alcohol or other chemical agents. Doing so could
damage the surface or cause discoloration.

Names and functions of parts
Front panel
1 PHANTOM indicator
The indicator lights when the phantom power switch(o) of the rear panel
is set to “ON”.
2 SIG indicators
The SIG indicators light green when signals (of at least −32 dBFS) are
input through the IN1/IN2/LINE IN L-R jacks (8/9/u).
3 PEAK indicators
The PEAK indicators light red when signals that are about to distort (−1
dBFS or higher) are input through the IN1/IN2/LINE IN L-R jacks (8/9/u).
4 GAIN knobs
Use to adjust the input levels of the IN1/IN2 jacks (8/9).
5 LINE OUT knob
Use to adjust the output level of the LINE OUT L-R jacks (i).
6 PHONES knob
Use to adjust the output level of the PHONES jack (q).
VCAUTION
Before connecting headphones, minimize the volume with the PHONES
knob. Failure to do so could result in a sudden loud noise that could harm
hearing, for example.
7 USB indicator
This lights when the USB connection is working.
8 IN1 jack
This mic level XLR jack is a balanced input jack.
9 IN2 jack
This input jack is a standard TRS jack.
Use the LINE/INST switch (0) on the front of the unit to enable balanced
line (LINE) input or unbalanced (INST) input for the standard TRS jack.
0 LINE/INST switch
Set according to the IN2 jack (9) input sources.
Set to LINE when connecting electronic instruments, audio devices and
similar equipment. Set to INST when connecting a guitar, bass or other
equipment with high output impedance.
q PHONES jack
Use this standard stereo jack to connect stereo headphones. This jack
outputs the same signal of the rear panel as the LINE OUT L–R jacks(i).
Use an adapter to connect headphones with a mini plug.

w DC IN 5V connector (Micro USB type)
When connected to an iOS device or other equipment that cannot power
this unit, you must use a USB power adapter, mobile battery or other
power supply. See “When using an iOS device” for details.
e Kensington Security Slot
r USB port
This is a USB Type-C port.
Use a USB cable to connect the unit to a computer or an iOS device.
t DIRECT MONITOR switch
Turning this switch ON enables the Settings Panel Monitor Balance slider
and input monitoring without delay (direct monitoring).
Use the Settings Panel Monitor Balance slider to adjust the monitoring
balance between the signals from the input jacks and the signals output
from the computer.
y INPUT SELECT switch
Set according to the input sources.
Set to FRONT when connecting to IN1/IN2 jacks (8/9) of the front panel.
Set to REAR when connecting to LINE IN L-R jacks (u) of the rear panel.
u LINE IN L-R jacks
These RCA pin jacks are analog line inputs.
i LINE OUT L-R jacks
These RCA pin jacks are analog line outputs.
o Phantom power switch
Use this switch to provide +48V phantom power to the IN1 jack (8).
Installing the dedicated software
To use this unit, a dedicated software must be installed on a computer.
The dedicated software might be updated at any time.
Download the latest software for the operating system you are using from
the TEAC Global Site (https://teac-global.com/).
o When you install the dedicated software on a Windows computer, the
Windows driver and the Settings Panel application will be installed.
o When you install the dedicated software on a Mac, only the Mac Settings
Panel application will be installed. The standard OS driver will be used.
o With an iOS device, the standard OS driver will be used, so there is no
need to install any.
ATTENTION
Before starting to install software, quit other applications.
Installing the Windows dedicated software
ATTENTION
i Complete installation of the Windows dedicated software on the computer
before connecting the unit to it with the USB cable.
i If you connected the unit to the computer using the USB cable before
installing the Windows dedicated software and the “Found New Hardware
Wizard” launched, close the Wizard and disconnect the USB cable.
Windows dedicated software installation procedures
1. Download the latest Windows dedicated software from the TEAC Global
Site (https://teac-global.com/) and save it on the computer to be used
with the unit.
2. Uncompress the saved software (zip file) on the computer desktop or
another location.
3. Double-click the “TASCAM_US-HR_Installer_x.xx.exe” file in the folder
that appears after uncompression to automatically launch the installation
software.
ATTENTION
If you open a zip file without decompressing it and doubleclick the
“TASCAM_US-HR_Installer_x.xx.exe” file in the folder that opens,
installation will not start. Rightclick the zip file and select “Extract All”, for
example, to decompress it and then try again.
4. When a “Security Warning” or “User Account Control” screens appears,
click the “Yes” button.
5. Read the contents of the User License Agreement, and select “I accept the
agreement” if you agree to the terms.

The installer will quit and the Windows Settings Panel will launch.
NOTE
The first time you connect the unit by USB to the computer after installing
the software, installation of the device driver will be executed. Some time
might be necessary before the unit is recognized because Windows Update
will be automatically searched at this time.
If the unit is still not recognized after a while, open the software installation
screen from the notification area at the bottom right of the computer
display, and click “Skip obtaining driver software from Windows Update”
to stop the search.
Installing the Mac dedicated software
NOTE
i Install the Mac dedicated software on the computer before connecting the
unit to it with the USB cable.
i Depending on the Gatekeeper setting, a warning message might appear
during installation. For information about Gatekeeper, Please see “Working
with Gatekeeper” in “3–Installation” of the Reference Manual.
Mac dedicated software installation procedures
1. Download the latest Mac dedicated software for the operating system
you are using from the TEAC Global Site (https://teac-global.com/) and
save it on the computer to be used with the unit.
2. Double-click “US-HR_Installer_x.xx.dmg”, which is the saved disk image
file for the Mac dedicated software, and double-click “US-HR_Installer.
pkg” inside the folder that opens.(Fig.A)
NOTE
Depending on the computer’s settings, the downloaded zip file might not
have been uncompressed automatically. In this case, uncompress the zip
file first and then double-click the disk image file.
3. When the installer starts, click the “Continue” button. (Fig.B)

4. Next, select the desired language and click the “Continue” button. (Fig.C)
5. Click the “Read License” button and check the contents of the Software
License Agreement. If you agree to the contents of the license, click
“Agree”. (Fig.D)

Connecting the power
When using a computer (Windows/Mac)
When this unit is connected to a computer using an included USB cable, it
will operate using USB bus power, so connecting a separate power supply
device is not necessary.
When using an iOS device
When this unit is connected to an iOS device, connecting an external battery,
USB power adapter or other power supply device is necessary in order to
power the unit.
Connect an AC adapter (TASCAM PS-P520E), external battery pack (TASCAM
BP-6AA) or the genuine Apple USB power adapter included with the iPad/
iPhone to a USB cable (sold separately), and connect it to the DC IN 5V port
(w).
ATTENTION
i Provide power through the DC IN 5V connector before connecting an iPad/
iPhone by USB.
i No USB power adapter is included with an iPod touch. To use it with an
iPod touch, purchase a genuine Apple USB power adapter (that can supply
5 V and a current of at least 700 mA) separately.
i Operation with other external battery packs and USB power adapters
is possible, but we strongly recommend using a TASCAM PS-P520E AC
adapter, TASCAM BP-6AA external battery pack or the genuine Apple USB
power adapter included with the iPad/iPhone.
When using another external battery pack or USB power adapter, be sure
that the power supply device meets the following specifications.
i Supplied voltage: 5 V
i Supplied current: 700 mA or more
Using a power supply device when the specifications are other than the
above could cause malfunction, overheating, fire or other problems. If
anything abnormal occurs, stop use and contact the retailer where you
purchased the unit or a TEAC service center to request repair.
Connecting other equipment
This is an example of US-1x2HR connections.
Precautions before making connections
o Carefully read the operation manuals of the devices to be connected and
then connect them correctly.
o Before making connections, turn this unit and all equipment to be
connected off (standby).
oInstall all connected devices, including this unit, so that they are powered
from the same line. When using a power strip or similar device, be sure to
use one that has high current capacity (thick cable) in order to minimize
fluctuations in power voltage.

VCAUTION
Lower the LINE OUT and PHONES knobs before changing the phantom
power switch between ON/OFF. Depending on the connected mics,
sudden loud noises from monitoring equipment could occur, and this
could damage the equipment or harm hearing.
ATTENTION
i Before connecting condenser mics, turn this unit and all equipment to be
connected off (standby).
i Do not turn phantom power on when connecting a mic that does not
require phantom power.
i Do not connect or disconnect mics while the phantom power switch is set
to ON. Doing so could cause a loud noise and might damage this unit and
connected equipment.
i Set the phantom power switch to ON only when using a condenser
microphone that requires phantom power. Setting phantom power to
ON when a dynamic mic or other equipment that does not require it is
connected could damage this unit and the connected equipment.
i Supplying phantom power to some ribbon mics could break them. If you
are unsure, do not supply phantom power to a ribbon mic.
i If you connect this unit to a laptop computer that is running on battery
power and set the phantom power switch to ON, the computer battery
charge will be consumed more quickly.
Connecting with iOS devices
To connect with an iOS device that has a Lightning connector use a Lightning
to USB Camera Adapter* and the USB cable included with this product.
To connect with an iOS device that has a USB Type-C connector, use a
commercially-available Type-C–Type-C cable.
* You must obtain a genuine Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter
separately.
NOTE
When connected, this unit will not provide power to the iOS device.
Making various settings
NOTE
In order to enable the computer to handle digital audio signals smoothly,
other loads on the computer should be minimized as much as possible.
We recommend that you quit unneeded applications before use.
Opening the Settings Panel
Open the Settings Panel in the following manner.
Windows
o From the Start menu select “US_HR SettingsPanel” under “TASCAM”.
Mac
o On the Launchpad, click “US-HR_SettingsPanel”.
o Using the Finder, open the Applications folder and double-click “US-
HR_SettingsPanel” to open the Settings Panel.
Using the Settings Panel
1 IN 1-2 buttons
Set the monitoring signal from the IN1/IN2/LINE IN L-R jacks (8/9/u) to
“” or “ ”.
2 Monitor Balance slider
When the DIRECT MONITOR switch on the back of the unit is ON, use this
to adjust the monitoring balance between the input signals from the
input jacks and the output signals from the computer.
3 Audio Input ON switches
Turn input on/off for each input separately.
For details about other settings, see “Settings Panel screen” in “5 – Using the
Settings Panel” of the Reference Manual.
Adjusting the input sound
Analog audio signals input into this device from mics, guitars, keyboards and
other audio equipment can be converted into digital signals and transmitted
to the computer via USB.
You can use the features of this unit to adjust the digital signals that are sent
to the computer.
In addition, by connecting speakers (through an amplifier if not powered) or
headphones to this unit, you can monitor audio signals that are input to this
unit and output from the computer.
Use the various controls on the front of the unit as necessary while listening
to the input sound.
Use the GAIN knobs (3) to adjust the analog input levels of the IN1/IN2 jacks
(1) so that the PEAK indicators (2) above and to the right of the GAIN knobs
do not light.
To listen to the monitoring signal using headphones, connect headphones to
a PHONES jack (4) and adjust the PHONES knob (5).
VCAUTION
Before connecting headphones, minimize the volume with the PHONES
knob. Failure to do so could result in a sudden loud noise that could harm
hearing, for example.
NOTE
i If the input sound cannot be heard output through the PHONES or the
LINE OUT L-R jacks, check the Monitor Balance and IO Settings items on the
Settings Panel screen.
i Confirm that the DIRECT MONITOR switch is set to ON.
Troubleshooting
Please read this chapter if you are unable to use the unit properly even after
setting it up following the procedures in this manual.
If you are still unable to resolve your problems please contact TASCAM

environment and details about the trouble.

The dedicated software cannot be installed
1. Check the operating system
The operating system being used might not be compatible with the
software that you are trying to install. Check the compatible operating
system of the software you are trying to install again.
2. Stop software running in the background
Antivirus software and other software that runs in the background can
prevent installation. Quit software that runs in the background and try
installation again.
The unit is connected, but the computer does not recognize it
1. Install the dedicated software
i If you have not done so, install the dedicated software. Please refer to
“Installing the dedicated software” this manual.
2. Change the USB port
i This unit cannot be used with USB 1.1. Use a port that supports at least
USB 2.0 or USB 3.0.
i Do not use a USB hub with this unit. Always connect the unit directly
to a USB port on the computer.
i If the above methods do not resolve the problem, connect the unit to
a different USB port on the computer.
I cannot hear any sound even when audio is played back on
the computer
Check the status of the unit’s connection with the computer.
Moreover, if you make the following settings, sound will be output through
this unit, but no sound will be output by the computer’s speakers or
headphone jack.
Windows
See the “Windows” section of “6 - Application Guide” in the Reference Manual,
and make settings according to the OS.
Mac
1. Quit all applications and open “System Preferences…” from the Apple
menu.
2. Open “Sound” .
3. On the Output tab, select “US-1x2 HR”.
After completing the setting, restart the computer and check the sound of
playback.
Depending on the application that you are using, you might need to make
additional device settings.
In particular, DAW software operate using audio engines with settings that
are different from the OS settings, so confirm the DAW settings first after
installing the dedicated software for this unit.
Please see the manuals for the applications that you are using for detailed
setting procedures.
Sound breaks up or there is noise
The processing load on the computer causes sound to break up and noise
to occur.
Here are some methods to reduce the load on the computer.
1. A wireless LAN and software running in the background, including
antivirus software, regularly put processing loads on the computer, which
can cause sound to break up and other noise.
Stop wireless LAN transmission, antivirus software and other software
running in the background when using this unit.
2. Set the buffer size (latency) in the audio application that you are using or
in this unit’s Settings Panel to a larger value (Windows only).
NOTE
Consult the maker of the audio application that you are using for methods
to reduce its load on your computer.
3. Change the settings of your computer so that they are optimal for audio
processing.
Using Windows
1 Open the Control Panel using the appropriate method for the OS you
are using (Windows 10/Windows 8.1/Windows 7).
i In Windows 10, open the “Control Panel”. Then, click the “System”
icon.

LENGTH OF WARRANTY
All parts except heads and disk drives are warranted for one (1) year from
the date of original purchase. Heads and disk drives are warranted for
ninety (90) days from date of original purchase. Labor is warranted for
ninety (90) days from date of original purchase.
WHAT WE WILL PAY FOR
We will pay all labor and material expenses for items covered by the
warranty. Payment of shipping charges is discussed in the next section of
this warranty.
HOW YOU CAN GET WARRANTY SERVICE
Your unit must be serviced by an authorized TASCAM service station in the
United States. (This warranty is not enforceable outside the U.S.) If you are
unable to locate an authorized TASCAM service station in your area, please
contact us. We either will refer you to an authorized service station or
instruct you to return the unit to the factory. Whenever warranty service is
required, you must present a copy of the original dated sales receipt from
an Authorized TASCAM Dealer.
You must pay any shipping charges if it is necessary to ship the product
to service. However, if the necessary repairs are covered by the warranty,
we will pay return surface shipping charges to any destination within the
United States.
LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
Any implied warranties, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY

1ファントム電源インジケーター
リアパネルのファントム電源スイッチ（o）が「ON」のときにインジケーターが
点灯します。
2SIGインジケーター
SIGインジケーターは、IN1 ／ IN2 ／ LINE IN L-R端子（8／9／u）に信号（−
32dBFS以上）が入力されている際、緑色に点灯します。
3PEAKインジケーター
PEAKイン ジケー ターは、IN1/IN2/LINE IN L-R端子（8／9／u）の信号
（−1dBFS以上）が歪む直前から赤く点灯します。
4GAINつまみ
IN1 ／ IN2端子（8／9）からの入力レベルを調節します。
5LINEOUTつまみ
LINE OUT L-R端子（i）の出力レベルを調節します。
6PHONESつまみ
PHONES端子（q）の出力レベルを調節します。

ヘッドホンを接続する前には、PHONESつまみで音量を最小にしてください。突

Settings Panelの Monitor Balance スライダーを使って、入力端子からの入力信
号と、パソコンからの出力信号のモニターバランスを調節します。

専用ソフトウェアをインストールする
本機を使用するには、パソコンに専用ソフトウェアをインストールする必要がありま
す。専用ソフトウェアは、随時更新されています。最新のソフトウェアは、TASCAM
のウェブサイト（https://tascam.jp/jp/）から、ご使用のOSに適した最新の専用ソ
フトウェアをダウンロードしてください。
p Windows パソコンは、専用ソフトウェアをインストールすると Windows 専用
のドライバー、および Windows 専用のSettings Panel（アプリケーション）
がインストールされます。
p Mac の場合は、専用ソフトウェアをインストールすると Mac 専用のSettings
Panel（アプリケーション）のみをインストールします。ドライバーは、OS標準
ドライバーを使用します。
p iOSデバイスの場合は、iOS標準のドライバーを使用しますので、専用ソフトウェ
アをインストールする必要はありません。
注意
ソフトウェアのインストール時には、他のアプリケーションを終了してからインス
トールを開始してください。
Windows専用ソフトウェアのインストール
注意
i パソコンと本機をUSBケーブルで接続する前に、Windows 専用ソフトウェアのイ
ンストールを完了してください。
i パソコンに Windows 専用ソフトウェアをインストールする前に本機をUSBケー
ブルで接続し、パソコンに「新しいハードウェアの検出ウィザード」が起動してしまっ
ている場合は、そのウィザードを終了させ、USBケーブルを抜いてください。
Windows専用ソフトウェアのインストール手順
1. TASCAMのウェブサイト（https://tascam.jp/jp/）から、最新の Windows 用
ソフトウェアをダウンロードし、ご使用のパソコンに保存してください。
2. 保存した Windows 専用ソフトウェア（zipファイル）をデスクトップなどに解凍
してください。
3. 解凍して生成されるフォルダー内にある「TASCAM_US-HR_Installer_x.xx.exe」
をダブルクリックすると、インストールソフトウェアが起動します。
注意
zipファイルを解凍せずに、ダブルクリックして開かれたフォルダーでexeファイル
を実行した場合には、インストーラーは起動できません。zipファイルを右クリック
して表示されるメニューから「すべて展開...」を選択するなど解凍してから再度実
行してください。
4. 「セキュリティの警告」または「ユーサー アカウント制御」の画面が表示されます
ので、「はい（Y）」ボタンをクリックします。
5. 使用許諾契約書の内容を確認し、内容に同意ができたら、「同意する（A）」を選択
します。
次に「次へ（N）>」ボタンをクリックします。（Fig.A）

インストーラーが終了し、Windows 専用のSettings Panelが起動します。
メモ
ソフトウェアをインストール後に初めて本機をUSB接続すると、デバイスドライ
バーのインストールが実行されます。このとき Windows は、自動的に Windows
Update を検索するため、本機の接続が認識されるまでに時間がかかる場合があり
ます。
しばらくしても本機が認識されない場合、パソコンのディスプレー右下の通知領域
から、ソフトウェアのインストール画面を表示させ、「Windows Updateからのドラ
イバーソフトウェアの取得をスキップする」をクリックして、検索を終了させてく
ださい。
Mac専用ソフトウェアのインストール
メモ
i パソコンにUSBケーブルで接続する前に、Mac 専用ソフトウェアをインストール
してください。
i Gatekeeperの設定により、インストール中に警告画面が出ることがあります。
Gatekeeperについては、リファレンスマニュアル 第3章「インストール」の
「Gatekeeperについて」をご参照ください。
Mac専用ソフトウェアのインストール手順
1. TASCAMのウェブサイト（https://tascam.jp/jp/）から、ご使用のOSに適し
た最新の Mac 専用ソフトウェアをダウンロードし、ご使用のパソコンに保存して
ください。
2. 保存したMac 専用ソフトウェアのディスクイメージファイル「US-HR_Installer_
x.xx.dmg」ファイルをダブルクリックし、開いたフォルダー内の「US-HR_
Installer.pkg」をダブルクリックします。（Fig.A）
メモ
ご使用の環境により、ダウンロードしたzipファイルが解凍されていない場合があり
ます。その場合は、zipファイルを解凍してからディスクイメージファイルをダブル
クリックしてください。

電源を接続する
パソコン（Windows ／ Mac）でご使用の場合
付属のUSBケーブルを使って本機をパソコンに接続して使用する場合、USBバスパ
ワーで動作しますので、他の電源デバイスを接続する必要はありません。
iOSデバイスでご使用の場合
本機をiOSデバイスに接続して使用する場合、本機に電源を供給するため、外付けバッ
テリーパックやUSB電源アダプターなどの電源デバイスを接続する必要があります。
別売の専用ACアダプター（TASCAM PS-P520E）、外付けバッテリーパック BP-
6AAまた はApple純正のiPad ／ iPhoneに 付属のUSB電 源ア ダプタ ーを、別 売の
USBケーブルと接続して、DC IN 5V端子（w）に接続します。
注意
i 先にDC IN 5V端子へ電源を供給してから、iPad/iPhoneへUSB接続してください。
i iPod touchにはUSB電源アダプターが付属されていません。iPod touch でご使
用の場合は、別途Apple純正のUSB電源アダプター（電圧5V、電流が700mA以
上供給可能なもの）をご購入ください。
i 他の外付けバッテリーパックやUSB電源アダプターでも動作可能ですが、別売の専

以下に、US-1x2HRの接続例を示します。
接続前の注意
p 接続を行う前に、外部機器の取扱説明書をよくお読みになり、正しく接続してく
ださい。
p 本機および接続する機器の電源を全てオフまたはスタンバイ状態にします。
p 各機器の電源は、同一のラインから供給するように設置します。テーブルタップ
などを使う場合は、電源電圧の変動が少なくなるように、電流容量が大きい太い
ケーブルをご使用ください。

LINE OUTつまみとPHONESつまみを下げた状態でファントム電源スイッチのオ
ン／オフ切り換えを行ってください。マイクによっては大きなノイズを発生し、モ
ニター機器から突然大きな音が出て、機器の破損や聴覚障害の原因になる可能性が
あります。

i コンデンサーマイクを接続する前に、本機および接続する機器の電源を全てオフま
たはスタンバイ状態にしてください。
i ファントム電源を必要としないマイクを接続している場合は、ファントム電源をオ
ンにしないでください。
i ファントム電源スイッチを「ON」にした状態で、マイクの抜き挿しをしないでく
ださい。大きなノイズを発生し、本機および接続中の機器が故障する恐れがありま
す。
i ファントム電源を必要とするコンデンサーマイクを使用する場合のみ、ファントム
電源スイッチを「ON」にしてください。ファントム電源を必要としないダイナミッ
クマイクなどを接続しているときにファントム電源スイッチを「ON」にすると、
本機および接続中の機器が故障する恐れがあります。
i リボンマイクの中には、ファントム電源を供給すると故障の原因になるものがあり
ます。疑わしい場合は、リボンマイクにファントム電源を供給しないでください。
i バッテリー電源で駆動中のノートパソコンに本機を接続して、ファントム電源ス
イッチを「ON」にすると、そのパソコンのバッテリー電源の消耗が早くなります。
iOSデバイスとの接続
Lightning端子を持ったiOSデバイスの場合は、Lightning – USB カメラアダプタ*
と付属のUSBケーブルを使って接続してください。
Type-C端子を持ったiOSデバイスの場合は、市販のUSBケーブルを使って接続して
ください。

各種設定する
メモ
パソコンでデジタルオーディオ信号をスムーズに扱うためには、パソコンの負荷を
極力少なくしておく必要があります。
不要なアプリケーションを終了後に使用することをお勧めします。
SettingsPanelを開く
Settings Panelを開くには、次の方法があります。
Windowsの場合
p 「スタートメニュー」の「TASCAM」から「US_HR Settings Panel」を選択します。
Macの場合
p 「Launchpad」から「US-HR_SettingsPanel」をクリックする。
p 「Finder」w「アプリケーション」w「US-HR_SettingsPanel」をクリックして、
Settings Panelを開く。
SettingsPanelを設定する
1IN1-2ボタン
IN1 ／ IN2 ／ LINE IN L-R端子（8／9／u）からのモニター信号を「 」
または
「 」に設定します。
2MonitorBalanceスライダー
本機リアパネルのDIRECT MONITORスイッチが「ON」のとき、入力端子から
の入力信号と、パソコンからの出力信号のモニターバランスを調節することがで
きます。
3AudioInputONスイッチ
入力のオン／オフを入力ごとに設定します。
前述以外の設定内容について、詳しくはリファレンスマニュアルの「第5章 Settings
Panel の設定」の「Settings Panelについて」をご参照ください。
入力音を調節する
マイク、ギター、キーボード、オーディオ機器など、本機に入力されたアナログ音声
信号は、デジタル信号に変換された後にUSBを経由してパソコンに送られます。
そのパソコンに送られるデジタル信号を本機の機能で調節が可能です。
また、スピーカー（アンプ経由）やヘッドホンを本機に接続することにより、本機に
入力されるオーディオ信号やパソコンからの出力信号をモニターすることができます。
入力音を聴きながらフロントパネルにある各操作子を必要に応じて操作します。
IN1 ／ IN2端子（1）からのアナログ入力レベルを、各GAINつまみの右上にある
PEAKインジケーター（2）が点灯しないように、各GAINつまみ（3）で調節します。
ヘッドホンでモニター音を聴く場合は、PHONES端子（4）にヘッドホンを接続し
た後、PHONESつまみ（5）で調節します。
V注意
ヘッドホンを接続する前には、PHONESつまみで音量を最小にしてください。突
然大きな音が出て、聴覚障害などの原因となることがあります。
メモ
i 入力音がヘッドホンやLINE OUT L-R端子からの出力から聴こえない場合には、
「Settings Panel」画面にある「Monitor Balance」項目および「IO Settings」
項目の設定を確認してください。
i DIRECT MONITORスイッチが、「ON」側になっているか確認してください。
トラブルシューティング
本取扱説明書の手順通り設定しても本機が正常に使用できない場合は、まずは本章を
ご確認ください。
本章で解決できない場合は、タスカムカスタマーサポート（本書に記載）まで、下記

専用ソフトウェアをインストールできない
1. OSの確認
お使いのOSとインストールしようとしているソフトウェアの対応OSが異なって
いる可能性があります。
対応OSを今一度ご確認ください。
2. 常駐ソフトの停止
アンチウイルスソフトなどの常駐ソフトがインストールの妨げとなる場合があり
ます。
常駐ソフトを終了し、再度インストールをお試しください。
本機を接続したがパソコンに認識されない
1. 専用ソフトウェアのインストール
o 専用ソフトウェアをインストールしてください。本書の「専用ソフトウェアを
インストールする」をご参照ください。
2. USB ポートの差し替え
o 本機はUSB1.1では動作しません。USB2.0またはUSB3.0のポートをご使
用ください。
o 本機の接続は、USBハブはご使用にならず、必ずパソコン本体のUSBポート
に接続してください。
o 上記の方法で解決しない場合、パソコン本体の別のUSBポートに接続してく
ださい。
パソコンでオーディオを再生しても音が出ない
本機をパソコンに接続した状態で下記をご確認ください。なお、以下の設定を行うと
本機経由で音は出ますが、パソコンのスピーカーやヘッドホン端子から音は出なくな
ります。
Windowsの場合
リファレンスマニュアルの「第6章 アプリケーションガイド」の「Windows」を参
照して各OSに合わせた設定を行ってください。
Macの場合
1. 全てのアプリケーションを終了し、アップルメニューより「システム環境設定...」
画面を開きます。
2. 「サウンド」を開きます。
3. 「出力」タブから「US-1x2 HR」を選択します。
設定が完了しましたらパソコンを再起動し、再生音をご確認ください。また、お使い
のアプリケーションによっては、上記とは別にデバイス設定を行う必要がある場合が
あります。
特にDAWソフトウェアをご使用時には、上記OSの設定とは別のオーディオエンジン
で動作していますので、本機のドライバーおよびSettings Panelソフトウェアをイ
ンストール後、先にDAWソフトウェアの設定をご確認ください。
お使いのアプリケーションの詳しい設定方法については、各取扱説明書をご参照くだ
さい。
音切れやノイズが発生する
パソコンの負荷が原因で音切れやノイズが発生します。
パソコンの負荷を軽減させる方法を下記にご紹介致します。
1. 無線LANやアンチウイルスソフトなどの常駐ソフトがバックグラウンドで動作し
ている場合は、定期的な負荷がかかり、音切れやノイズの原因となります。
その場合は無線LANの通信を停止する、またはアンチウイルスソフトなどの常駐
ソフトを停止後して、お試しください。
2. お使いのオーディオアプリケーション、あるいは本機のSettings Panel にて
バッファーサイズ（レイテンシー）の設定を大きくすることをお試しください。
（Windows のみ）
メモ
オーディオアプリケーション側でパソコンへの負荷を減らす方法を、オーディオア
プリケーションのメーカー様にお問い合わせください。
3. パソコンをオーディオ処理に適した設定に変更してください。
[Windowsの場合]
1 ご使用のOS（Windows 10 ／ Windows 8.1 ／ Windows 7）に適した設
定方法で「システム」を開きます。
i Windows 10 は、「コントロールパネル」を開きます。さらに「システム」
アイコンをクリックします。
i Windows 8.1 は、通常のスタート画面（メトロUI画面）で右クリックし、
「すべてのアプリ」をクリックします。さらに「コンピュータ」を右クリッ
クし、「プロパティ」を選択します。
i Windows 7 は、 Windows のスタートボタンから「コンピュータ」を右
クリックし、「プロパティ」を選択します。
2 「 システムの詳細設定」をクリックします。
3 「 システムのプロパティ」画 面 の「 詳細設定」タブで、「パフォーマンス」枠 の「 設
定...」をクリックします。
4 「 パフォーマンスオプション」画面の[視覚効果]タブで、「パフォーマンスを
優先する」を選択します。
[Macの場合]
1 アップルメニューより「システム環境設定...」画面を開き、「省エネルギー」
を選択します。
2 「 コンピュータのスリープ」を「しない」に設定します。
3 「 ディスプレイのスリープ」を「しない」に設定します。

4. USBポートの差し替えてください。
USBポートによっては本機が正常に動作しない場合がありますので、パソコン本

無料修理規定（持ち込み修理）
1. 取扱説明書、本体貼付ラベルなどの注意書きにしたがった正常な使用状態
で保証期間内に故障が発生した場合には、ティアック修理センターが無料
修理致します。
2. 本体の保証期間は、お買い上げの日から 1 年です。
3. 保証期間内に故障して無料修理を受ける場合は、本書をご提示の上、ティ
アック修理センターまたはお買い上げの販売店に修理をご依頼ください。
商品を送付していただく場合の送付方法については、事前にティアック修
理センターにお問い合わせください。無償修理の対象は、お客様が日本国
内において購入された日本国内向け当社製品に限定されます。
4. ご転居、ご贈答品などでお買い上げの販売店に修理をご依頼になれない場
合は、ティアック修理センターにご連絡ください。
5. 次の場合には、保証期間内でも有料修理となります。
(1) ご使用上の誤りおよび不当な修理や改造による故障および損傷
(2) お買い上げ後の輸送・移動・落下などによる故障および損傷
(3) 火災、地震、水害、落雷、その他の天災地変、公害や異常電圧による
故障および損傷
(4) 接続している他の機器に起因する故障および損傷
(5) 業務上の長時間使用など、特に苛酷な条件下において使用された場合
の故障および損傷
(6) メンテナンス
(7) 本書の提示がない場合
(8) 本書にお買い上げ年月日、お客様名、販売店名 ( 印 ) の記入のない場合、
あるいは字句を書き換えられた場合
6. 本書（日本語記載部）は日本国内においてのみ有効です。

7. 本書は再発行致しませんので、紛失しないよう大切に保管してください。
＊ この保証書は、本書に明示した期間・条件のもとにおいて無料修理をお約
束するものです。この保証書によって保証書を発行しているもの（保証責
任者）、およびそれ以外の事業者に対するお客様の法律上の権利を制限する
ものではありません。保証期間経過後の修理などについてご不明の場合は、
ティアック修理センターにお問い合わせください。

よびその後の安全点検活動のために記載内容を利用させていただく場合が
