Notice
Safety Notice: please read and strictly follow all the
safety warnings and notice below.
Work Environment Safety
Keep your work place tidy.
Do not operate the device in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
The high temperature generated by equipment operation may react with
combustible gases, liquids, and airborne dust, thus causing fire.
Keep the device out of children's and untrained people's reach.
Electrical Safety
02
Note: Every printer has been tested before leaving the factory. If there are some filament
residues in the extruder or some tiny scratches on the build plate, it is normal and
won’t affect the printing quality.
Always use the device with a properly grounded outlet. Do not refit the device's plug.
Ungrounded / improperly grounded / refitted plugs will increase the risk of leakage
of electricity.
Do not expose the device to damp or hot-sun environment. Humidity will increase the
risk of electric leakage. Exposure to sunlight will accelerate the aging of plastic parts.
In case of device damage, please use the power cord provided by Flashforge.
Avoid using the device during a thunderstorm.
In case of uncertain accidents, please unplug the device if you do not use it for long.
When grounding, plug the power cord into the three-in-one socket and connect to the
external grounding wire through the grounding terminal of the three-in-one socket.
Check and replace the fuse: To prevent electric shock, please be sure to turn off the
power switch and unplug the power cord before checking or replacing the fuse.
Replace the fuse: Open the fuse box of the three-in-one socket and replace the fuse
with the fuse of 5*20, T10AL250V specification.

Environment Requirements
Placement Requirements
The device must be placed in a dry and ventilated environment. The distance of
the left, right and back side space should be at least 20cm, and the distance of the
front side space should be at least 35cm. Device storage temperature: RT 0-40℃.
Temperature: RT 15-30℃; moisture: 20%-70%.
Cautions
Keep the inside of the device clean and tidy. Do not place metal objects into the
chute at the bottom of the platform.
Please clean up the filament debris in time. It is recommended to operate this
outside the equipment.
Any modifications to the device will invalidate the guarantee.
Lower the build plate before loading/unloading filament. The distance between
the nozzle and build plate should be kept for at least 50mm.
Operate the device in a well-ventilated environment.
Never use the device for illegal activities.
Never use the device to make any food containers.
Never put the prints into your mouth.
Personal Safety
Do not touch the nozzle and build plate during printing.
Do not touch the nozzle and plate after printing to avoid high-temperature scalds
or mechanical damage!

Filament Requirements
Filament Storage
It’s recommended to use the filaments offered by Flashforge, or from the brands
accepted by Flashforge. Due to the different properties of filaments, you need to
modify printing parameters when using those which are not offered by Flashforge.
All polymers degrade with time. Do not unpack filament until necessary. Filament
should be stored in a dry and dust-free environment.

Or you can download it from https://www.flashforge.com/download-center.
Chapter 3 Software Installation
Note
3D printing process is as follows:
(1). Obtain the 3D file;
(2). Download and install the slicing software;
(3). Prepare the equipment; (leveling, calibration and filament loading);
(4). Start printing (model file slicing, transmission and printing).
10
Note
The equipment has been leveled and calibrated before
delivery, but due to transportation or other influences,
the distance between the nozzle and platform may change.
It is recommended to conduct [Calibration] after unpacking.
1. Click [Maintain] - [Calibration] - [Normal Mode] to start pre-calibration.
The first point is to calibrate the initial distance between the extruder and the
platform. Click the Up and Down arrows to adjust the Z-axis deviation value;
Insert a leveling card between the nozzle and the platform. If it cannot be inserted,
it means that the nozzle and the platform are too close. Click the Up arrow to make
the nozzle away from the platform.

2. Insert and slide the leveling card. If there is no frictional resistance, click the
Down arrow to make the nozzle closer to the platform; When there is slight friction
resistance, it means that the distance is appropriate.
3. After calibrating the first point,
please follow the on-screen
prompts to continue the 30-point
automatic leveling.

Mind the loading direction of filament. Make sure it is clockwise as the
picture shows. If the filament is loose, please arrange it according to the
filament extrusion direction and then put it back on the spool holder.
2. Put the spool of filament on the spool holder and close the filament cover.
Note
Filament Loading
1. Open the filament cover on the right side, insert the filament into
the filament intake, and push the filament into the feeding wheel
until some resistance is sensed.
Please make sure the filament is inserted into the
feeding wheels!
13
3. Tap [Prepare] - [Filament] - [Load]. Follow the instructions. Filament coming out of the
nozzle indicates a successful filament loading.

Note
Method 1: Printing from Local Files or from USB
You can print models from a USB flash drive. Save the sliced file into a USB flash drive,
insert it into the printer and select the corresponding file to print. The [Local Files] in the
printer or the USB flash drive delivered randomly contains sliced test files, which can be
directly used to complete the first printing.
1. Model Printing
Method 2: Printing via Wi-Fi Transmission
(1). Tap [Settings]-[Network]-[WIFI], and operate according to the instruction. Open FlashPrint,
click [Print], then click [Machine Type], and select [Adventurer 4 Pro]. You can try to enter
the IP address or scan it automatically. The IP address can be viewed in [Settings] - [About].
When the user wants to
use the browser to view
images, the printer and PC
connected networks must be in
the same network segment,
(that is, the printer and PC
should connect to the same
router).
15
(2)Click [My Printer] - [Add Printer].
Fill in the registration number (Registration Code) on the page and name the
printer. After clicking OK, the information will appear in the FlashCloud interface of
the printer.

Polar Cloud
Register the Polar Cloud account at https://Polar3d.com.
2.Model Removal
Note
The nozzle and build plate are still hot after finishing printing. Please wait for
them to cool down before conducting operation.
The back side of the build plate is designed exclusively for PETG. Please use the
back when printing with PETG.
Please remove models after the platform has cooled down. If models are removd
when the platform is not completely cooled down, bubbles will occur on the
surface of the platform.
It is recommended to take the platform to the outside of the equipment for model
removal, otherwise the model debris will remain in the equipment. Please keep
the inside of the printer clean.
Adventurer 4 Pro: Take out the removable build plate, and bend the plate to get the
model. When printing for the second time, please ensure that there is no residual
filament on the platform.
After logging into your account, click the icon on the top right corner and click [Settings].
Find the PIN Code in the page. Turn on the Polar Cloud switch and enter the account and
PIN code after connecting Adventurer 4 Pro to network.
1. Click [Build], and then choose
