2.1 Discover the content of Philips package

For your safety, please use the items delivered in this

package only to install the device. In case of incorrect

installation, Lumileds declines all responsibility for any

harm or accident.

3 Installing the car air sanitizer

3.1 Remove the packaging of the HESAMax cartridge before use

Remove the base as shown in the image below. Remove the HESAMax cartridge from the base

and then remove the plastic packaging. Then, put the HESAMax cartridge and base back into place.

4 Operating the Philips car air sanitizer

Once the car’s USB port starts supplying power, the air sanitizer will turn on automatically.

It will operate in low speed mode as the default.

In-car USB DATA port is not

recommended as power input.

Please avoid the use of any USB

port with a power rating lower

than 1.0A, or low-powered car

lighter outlet with an adapter as

the power source.

When input power is lower than

required, product performance

will be compromised.

Do note: The USB ports of some

cars continue to supply power

even when the engine is o. To

avoid running out of batteries, the

air sanitizer is set to automatically

shut down after two hours of

continuous operation. When

the air sanitizer is automatically

turned o after two hours during

driving, turn it on manually if

you wish to turn the air sanitizer

on again.

Do not place the air sanitizer

in places other than the cup

holder to prevent unexpected

product movement, as the car

is moving, that aects safety

whilst driving.

Installing and connecting the console

Place the air sanitizer in the

cup holder in the center

console or armrest of the car.

1. Press the ON/OFF button to switch into the operating mode

between low speed and high speed.

2. When turned on, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds

to shut down the air sanitizer.

3. When turned o, press the ON/OFF button to start and it will

operate in low speed mode as the default.

5 Replacement of lter and HESAMax cartridge

This product has 2 air ltration features require replacement: a high-eciency particle

lter and a HESAMax cartridge.

The air sanitizer will

automatically remind you

to replace the lter.

HESAMax cartridge works 24/7, the replacement cycle depends on the in-car gas/odor level.

The recommended replacement period is 12 months.

Remove the HESAMax cartridge from the base and replace with a new one. Then, x the base back in place

1. After removing the base,

open the lter cover and

remove the lter.

When the lter needs to

be replaced, the blue light

ring on the top of

the air sanitizer will blink

every time it’s turned on.

With the lter cover is

open, power on the air

sanitizer. Press and hold the

ON/ OFF button for more

than 5 seconds until you

hear “ding ding” and release

the button to reset the lter.

2. Close the lter cover

and install the base.

3. If the reset failed, please

repeat the above steps.

m Precautions

For the sake of safety, when the lter cover is open, the fan inside the air sanitizer and the UVC

lamp will stop working.

Please be sure to use genuine Philips SaniFilter Plus and HESAMax cartridge, and replace

them in a timely manner. This will maintain the best performance of Philips car air sanitizers

and make sure the purest air in the car.

6 Philips car air sanitizer troubleshooting

Problem 1

Philips car air sanitizer

does not switch to high

speed.

Solution 1

• Check it is not

connected to in-car USB

data port which is usually

not designed as power

source.

• Connect to in-car

USB port with charging

function.

• Or check your USB

power input, it needs to

be higher than 5V/1A.

Problem 2

Some cars continue to

power the 5V outlet when

the engine is o.

Solution 2

To avoid draining the

battery, Philips car air

sanitizer will automatically

power o after two hours

of continuous running.

To restart your device,

press the power button.

Problem 3

After lter replacement,

the blue light ring on

top remains blinking at

restart.

Solution 3

Turn o the device and

follow lter reset steps in

section 5.1.

Please make sure the

power cable remains

connected during the

whole process.

Problem 4

The Philips car air

sanitizer stops running for

a short while.

Solution 4

This is normal: Philips

car air sanitizer has

a voltage protection

function. The device turns

o automatically when

the voltage supply from

vehicle is uctuant.

The device will resume

to work once the voltage

comes back stable.

如图示取下底座。取出HESAMax魔方拆除塑料包装。然后将HESAMax魔方及底座归位。

4 操作车载空气消毒机

启动汽车USB端口供电后，空气消毒机将自动开机。默认运行为低速模式。

不推荐使用车内USB数据

接口供电。

请避免使用供电小于1.0A的

USB端口，或由小功率点烟

器转接USB供电。供电电流

过小时空气消毒机将始终保

持在低速档工作。

某些车型即使在熄火时，

USB端口仍然继续供电。

为避免耗尽电池，空气消毒

机设置连续运转两小时后自

动关机功能。行车使用中空

气消毒机两小时自动关机

后，如欲再次启动，需手

动开机。

本产品分别有除菌过滤网和HESAMax魔方两个过滤装置。

如何重置空气消毒机

空气消毒机自动提醒您更换

过滤网。

HESAMax魔方24小时持续工作。更换周期取决于车内有害气体及异味的挥发程度。建议每12

个月更换一次。

更换时，请从底座取出HESAMax魔方，放入新的HESAMax魔方，然后安装底座。

1.取下底座后，打开滤网盖

取出过滤网。

当需要更换滤网时，每次开

机空气消毒机顶部蓝色导光

圈会闪烁。

1. 滤网盖打开状态下，给空

气消毒机通电。长按开关

键5秒以上直到听到“叮

叮”两声松开按键，滤网

清零重置成功。

2.合上滤网盖并安装底座。

3.若滤网重置失败，请重复

以上操作。

m 注意

为了安全起见，当打开滤网盖时，空气消毒机内部风机和UVC紫外灯将停止工作。

请务必使用正品飞利浦过滤网和HESAMax魔方做及时更换，这将维持您的车载空气消毒机的最

佳性能，确保车内空气最大纯净度。

6 飞利浦车载空气消毒机疑难解答

问题1

飞利浦车载空气消毒机不能

切换到高档模式。

•请检查是否正在使用车内

数据USB端口供电，数据

USB端口通常电流较低，不

推荐用于产品供电。

•请使用车内具有充电功能

的USB端口。

• 亦可使用5V/1A以上的
