The

IS-HS2A.1

Headset in combination with an approved

i.safe MOBILE GmbH

device is a communication device for

industrial use in explosion hazardous areas of Zone 1/21 and

2/22, in accordance with Directives 2014/34/EU, 1999/92/EC and

the IECEx system, among others.

The

IS-HS2A.1

Headset is approved as an accessory. The Ex

marking can be found in the EU declaration of conformity of

the corresponding device. Compatible devices can be found at

www.isafe-mobile.com

Only use the device as described in this Operating Manual. Any

other use is considered improper and can lead to death, severe

injuries and damage to the device.

Read the “Safety” section of this Operating Manual carefully

before using the device. If you do not follow these instructions

or do not understand them, this could lead to death, severe

injuries and damage to the device.

USER

Only trained users who are qualied in the use of Ex devices in

explosion hazardous areas and who have read and understood

this Operating Manual may use this device.

Only connect the Headset outside explosion hazardous areas

Connect the 16-pin ISM connector of the Headset securely to

the ISM interface of approved

i.safe MOBILE GmbH

devices.

Do not open the device.

Do not damage the device.

Do not modify the device structurally.

Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

Do not expose the device to aggressive acids or bases.

FURTHER SAFETY ADVICES

CAUTION

When using earphones or headsets at the maximum

volume setting, you can damage your hearing.

First set the volume control on the device to 50% of

the maximum volume.

Gradually adjust the volume.

Connect the 16-pin ISM connector (1) to the ISM interface of

the approved

i.safe MOBILE GmbH

device.

Hand-tighten the screw (2).

The installation is also described in the operating instructions of

the approved

devices.

PTT APP

To use the PTT function a dedicated PTT application is neces-

sary (third party).

USE

Wear the earphone on your left or right ear.

Attach the PTT key to your clothing.

Press the PTT key to open a PTT channel.

Press and hold the PTT key to talk.

Release the PTT key to close the PTT channel.

Press the PTT key to answer or hang up an incoming phone

call.

CLEANING

NOTICE

Incorrect cleaning can cause damage to the device. Please note

the following when cleaning:

Disconnect the Headset from all connected devices before

cleaning.

Do not use chemical agents for cleaning.

Clean the device with a soft, moistened antistatic cloth.

STORAGE

NOTICE

Incorrect storage can cause damage to the device. Store the

device at a humidity of 10% to 60% at the following ambient

temperatures:

Up to one month: -20°C to +45°C (-4°F to +113°F)

Up to 3 months: -10°C to +35°C (+14°F to +95°F)

Over 3 months: -10°C to +25°C (+14°F to +77°F)

Headset in Verbindung mit einem zugelassenen

i.safe MOBILE GmbH

-Gerät ist ein Kommunikationsgerät für

den industriellen Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen

der Zone 1/21 und 2/22 unter anderem nach den Richtlinien

2014/34/EU, 1999/92/EG und dem IECEx-System.

Das

IS-HS2A.1

Headset ist als Zubehör zugelassen. Die Ex-Kenn-

zeichnung ist in der EU-Konformitätserklärung des entspre-

chenden Geräts zu nden. Kompatible Geräte nden Sie unter

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur, wie in dieser Bedienungsan-

leitung beschrieben. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht

bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu Tod, schweren Verletzungen

BENUTZER

Nur geschulte Benutzer, die für den Einsatz von Ex-Geräten in

explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen qualiziert sind und diese

Verbinden Sie den 16-pin ISM-Stecker des Headsets

sicher mit der ISM-Schnittstelle des zugelassenen

i.safe MOBILE GmbH

-Geräts.

Önen Sie das Gerät nicht.

Beschädigen Sie das Gerät nicht.

Verändern Sie das Gerät nicht baulich.

Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen hohen Temperaturen aus.

Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen aggressiven Säuren oder Basen

aus.

WEITERE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

VORSICHT

Bei der Verwendung von Kopfhörern oder Headsets,

können Sie bei maximaler Lautstärkeeinstellung Ihr

Gehör schädigen.

Stellen Sie die Lautstärkeregelung am Gerät zuerst

auf 50% der maximalen Lautstärke ein.

Passen Sie die Lautstärke schrittweise an.

INSTALLATION

GEFAHR

Durch falsche Verwendung besteht Gefahr von Tod und

schweren Verletzungen! Schließen Sie das Headset nur

Verbinden Sie den 16-pin ISM-Stecker (1) mit der ISM-Schnitt-

stelle des zugelassenen

i.safe MOBILE GmbH

-Geräts.

Ziehen Sie die Schraube (2) handfest an.

Die Installation ist auch in den Bedienungsanleitungen der

zugelassenen

i.safe MOBILE GmbH

-Geräte beschrieben.

PTTAPP

Zur Nutzung der PTT-Funktion ist eine spezielle PTT-Anwen-

dung erforderlich (Drittanbieter).

BENUTZUNG

Legen Sie den Ohrhörer am linken oder rechten Ohr an.

Befestigen Sie die PTT-Taste an Ihrer Kleidung.

Drücken Sie die PTT-Taste, um einen PTT-Kanal zu önen.

Halten Sie die PTT-Taste gedrückt, um zu sprechen.

Lassen Sie die PTT-Taste los, um den PTT-Kanal zu schließen.

Drücken Sie die PTT-Taste, um einen eingehenden Anruf

anzunehmen oder aufzulegen.

REINIGUNG

ACHTUNG

Durch falsche Reinigung, können Sie das Gerät beschädigen.

Beachten Sie beim Reinigen Folgendes:

Trennen Sie das Headset vor der Reinigung von allen ange-

schlossenen Geräten.

Benutzen Sie keine chemischen Mittel zum Reinigen.

Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, angefeuchteten

antistatischen Stotuch.

LAGERUNG

ACHTUNG

Durch falsche Lagerung, können Sie das Gerät beschädigen.

Lagern Sie das Gerät bei einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 10% bis
