Inner Tube Shock Set

Thank you for purchasing this set. Before installation,

please carefully read and follow the instructions on

this sheet in conjunction with the instruction manual

in your MINI-Z AWD MA-010.

Be sure to remove the battery before

assembling or disassembling the chassis.

CAUTION

*A Phillips Screwdriver (Precision type or a small sized)

Tools : Must be prepared

This product absorbs the vibration of the double wishbone rear suspension system of the

Mini-Z AWD and greatly stabilizes the chassis. The spring tension and the ride height can be

adjusted to the condition of the road surface using the optional spring set (No.MDW100-01) and

the spring spacers included in the double wishbone suspension kit.

Remove the rear damper

Assemble the shocks

Apply grease or oil to shaded section (refer to optional parts list).

Vary the amount of grease or oil to adjust damping effects.

Softer oil results in more understeer (doesn't turn as sharply),

and the chassis behaviour will become unstable.

Install them under the spring

Airflow at the ventilation hole can be adjusted by opening and closing the airflow screw when silicone oil or grease is applied on the piston.

When the airflow screw is fully closed, air spring effect can be obtained.

Shutting the airflow screw “at the longest position” or “at the shortest position” of the inner tube shock will give different damping effect.

Air leaks in and out of the inner tube shock gradually even when the airflow screw is fully closed.

Spring tension can be adjusted using the spring spacers included

in the double wishbone suspension kit. (Standard: 1mm)
