Maintenance
There are two ways of cleaning:
1. Wipe with a wet cloth.
•Wipe the brush with a clean, wet cloth; use cotton balls dampened
with water to wipe the brush pad until it’ s clean, and dry it in a
shady place.
2. Correct water scrubbing method
•The main body cannot be washed with water.
•The brush pad can be washed with water as described below:
a. The brush pad must be removed before cleaning.
b. Totally remove any hair wound around the brush. It can be washed
with water, but prevent water from entering the air bleeder.
c. If water enters the air bleeder, place
the unit with the air bleeder facing
downwards to let the water ow out
of the air bleeder; naturally dry it and
avoid placing it in a humid environment.
d. Do not clean the ion brush with diluents,
thinner benzine or alcohol; otherwise, this may cause component
failure, damage or color fading. Please clean it with neutral cleanser.
PRECAUTION:
The brush cannot be mounted onto the main body for use until it is
totally dried. Otherwise, personal injury may be caused by possible
short circuit or heating.
Maintenance of the ion outlet:
•In order to prolong the life of ion, please
regularly clean the ion outlet (once every
month).
1. Before cleaning, conrm that the battery and
brush are removed.
2. Use a commercially available cotton ball to
wipe the central part deep (about 10 mm) in the
ion outlet ( A) for 5 times.
• We suggest you use ne cotton ball meant for
infants.
