Before using the battery pack, please read this manual thoroughly and
retain it for future reference. See the manuals provided with your Sony
notebook for more information about charging.
The Sony VGP-BPL2 is the rechargeable battery pack designed for Sony
notebooks. However, it may not be used with some models.

Notes on Use
•To prevent short circuit accidents, do not allow metal objects, such as a
necklace, to touch the terminals.
• Do not expose the battery pack to temperatures above 140°F (60°C), such
as under direct sunlight or in a car parked in the sun.
• Keep the battery pack dry.
• Do not drop the battery pack or place heavy objects on it. Do not apply
strong pressure or physical shock to the battery pack. These actions may
cause the battery pack or the notebook to malfunction.
• Do not hold the notebook by its battery pack when carrying it or
opening the display panel, as this may result in damage.
