3. シャ ーシ背面の適切な拡張ス ロ ッ ト カバーを取 り 外し ます。
コンピュータのユーザ マニュアルを参照しながら、 スロッ ト
カバーを取り外します。
4. お使いのコ ン ピ ュータ にロー プ ロ フ ァ イルのカード を取り付
ける必要があ る場合は、 カー ド のフルハイ ト ブラケッ トを同
梱のロー プロファイル ブラケッ トに取り替えます。
5. カー ド のブ ラ ケ ッ ト を シ ャ ーシの背面の空いている ス ロ ッ ト
の位置に合わせて、 し っか り と 固定さ れる よ う に カ ー ド を シス
テム ボー ド の拡張ス ロ ッ ト に押し 込みます1。
6. カードの4ピ ン電源コネ ク タ を利用可能な フ ロ ッ ピー電源ケー
ブルに接続します2。 フ ロ ッ ピー電源ケーブルがない場合は、
標準サイズの電源コ ネ ク タ と カ ー ド の電源 コ ネ ク タ の間に別
売のY字型アダプ タ ケーブルを取り付けます。
注：一部のモデルでは、ケーブルを フ ロ ン ト パネルの1394ポー
トからカードの10ピン1394コネクタに接続します。
7. お使いのモデルのロ ッ ク メ カニズムで、 拡張カー ド およびス
ロット カバーを固定します。 詳し く は、 コンピュータのユー
ザ マニュアルを参照して く ださい。
8. コンピュータのカバーを装着しなおして、電源コード を接続し
なおします。
9. 1394デバイ スを新 し いカー ド のポー ト に接続し ます。
10. コ ン ピ ュ ー タ の電源を入れます。 オペレーテ ィ ン グ システム
によ り 新 し いデバイスが認識 されて、自動的に ド ラ イバがイ ン
ストールされます。
