A9GT-RS4をご使用の際，通信ケーブルのコネクタ形状によっては，GOT
の取付け金具がコネクタと干渉する場合があります。
お手数ですが，下図位置の取付け金具を，本製品に同梱の取付け金具
と取り替えてご使用ください。

When A9GT-RS4 is used, the mounting fixture of the GOT interferes
with the connector due to the shape of the communication cable
connector.
Please substitute for the mounting fixture included in this product and
use the mounting fixture as shown in diagram below.

● 制御線や通信ケーブルは，主回路や動力線などと束線したり，
近接したりしないでください。

● 本ユニットをGOT本体に着脱する場合は，必ずGOTの電源を外
部にて全相遮断してから行ってください。
全相遮断しないと，ユニットの故障や誤動作の原因になりま
す。
● RS-422ケーブルを本ユニットに接続する場合は，必ずGOTとシ
ーケンサCPU側の電源を外部にて全相遮断してから行ってく
ださい。
全相遮断しないと，誤動作の原因になります。

注意
● 本ユニットは，GOTユーザーズマニュアル記載の一般仕様の環
境で使用してください。
一般仕様の範囲以外の環境で使用すると，感電，火災，誤動
作，製品の損傷あるいは劣化の原因になります。
● GOT本体に本ユニットを装着するときは，GOT装着部に装着し，
取付けネジを規定トルク範囲で締め付けてください。
取付けネジの締付けがゆるいと，落下，故障，誤動作の原因
になります。
取付けネジを締めすぎると，GOT本体やネジの破損による落
下，故障，誤動作の原因になります。
● 本ユニットの導電部分や電子部品には，直接触らないでくだ
さい。

【配線上の注意事項】
注意
● 通信ケーブルは，接続するユニットのコネクタに装着し，コ
ネクタ取付けネジおよび端子ネジを規定トルク範囲で締め付
けてください。
コネクタ取付けネジおよび端子ネジの締付けがゆるいと，短
絡，誤動作の原因になります。
コネクタ取付けネジおよび端子ネジを締めすぎると，ネジや
ユニットの破損による短絡，誤動作の原因になります。

● 通電中にスイッチ設定を変更しないでください。

● 清掃は，必ずGOTの電源を外部にて全相遮断してから行ってく
ださい。

クランプによる固定処理を行ってください。
ケーブルをダクトに納めなかったり，クランプによる固定処
理をしていないと，ケーブルのブラツキや移動，不注意の引
っ張りなどによるユニットやケーブルの破損，ケーブルの接
続不良による誤動作の原因になります。
● ユニットに接続されたケーブルを取りはずすときは，ケーブ
ル部分を手に持って引っ張らないでください。
ユニットに接続された状態でケーブルを引っ張ると，ユニッ
トやケーブルの破損，ケーブルの接続不良による誤動作の原
因になります。
● ユニットに触れる前には，必ず接地された金属などに触れて，
人体などに帯電している静電気を放電してください。
静電気を放電しないと，ユニットの故障や誤動作の原因にな
ります。

1. 概 要
本ユーザーズマニュアルは，A9GT-RS4形シリアル通信ボード（以下
A9GT-RS4と略します）の仕様，各部の名称について説明したものです。
A9GT-RS4は，A985 GOT(-V)/A975GOT/A970GOT/A960GOT形グラフィッ
クオペレーションターミナル（以下GOTと略します）に装着し，周辺
機器用RS-422コネクタを使用することにより，シーケンサCPU，計算
機リンク，他社製シーケンサなどと接続できます。
本ユニットはRS-422ケーブルをユニット下部に接続する構造とな
っていますので，制御盤などに取り付ける場合，RS-422ケーブルのコ
ネクタやケーブルの曲げ寸法の奥行きをとりません。
シーケンサCPUや計算機リンクユニットへの取付け，配線，対応す
る機種については，GOT-A900シリーズユーザーズマニュアル(接続編)
を参照してください。

1. Overview
This user's manual gives the specifications and the names of parts of
the A9GT-RS4 serial communication board (hereafter referred to as the
"A9GT-RS4").
Fitted to the A985GOT(-V)/A975GOT/A970GOT/A960GOT graphic
operation terminal (hereafter referred to as the "GOT"), the A9GT-RS4
can be connected with the PLC CPU, computer link, other's PLC, or the
like by using RS-422 connector for peripheral.
Designed to connect the RS-422 cable at its bottom, this module does
not take up a space for the RS-422 cable connector and cable flexing in
the depth direction when mounted to a control box or the like.
For mounting and wiring to a PLC CPU or computer link module, and
the compatible models, refer to the GOT-A900 Series User's Manual
(Connection System Manual).
