※ センサの論理は接続方法によって変わります。茶色と桃色を接続すると、ノーマルクローズになります。
センサの配線を延長するときは、センサから 2 m以下の位置に電解コンデンサ（10 µF、50 V）を挿入してください。
取り付け
通電状態でセンサセットを取り付けないでください。けが・装置破損の原因になります。
yセンサや遮光板は、必ず図に示した方向で取り付けてください。取付方向を間違えると、センサが検出できない、または
遮光板がセンサに当たってセンサが破損する原因になります。
y通電状態でコネクタ付可動ケーブルを着脱しないでください。センサが破損する原因になります。
yセンサ取付金具や遮光板を電動スライダに取り付けるときは、必ず付属のねじを使用してください。
yコネクタ付可動ケーブルをセンサから外すときは、ケーブルを引っ張らないでください。
センサの取り付け
1. 六角穴付ボルト（M3）で、センサをセンサ取付金具に固定します。
2. 六角穴付ボルトと六角ナット（各 M3）をセンサ取付金具に取り付けます。
六角ナットをセンサレールに通すため、締め付けないでください。

3. 六角ナットをセンサレールに通し、六角穴付ボルトを締め付けます。
4. コネクタ付可動ケーブルをセンサに接続します。
EASM4 とEASM6 は、コネクタ付可動ケーブルをセンサレールに収納できます。

5. 遮光板を固定します。
Xテーブルタイプ： 六角穴付ボルト（M2.5）で遮光板をテーブル側面のねじ穴に
取り付けてください。
Yテーブルタイプ： お客様側でワークにねじ穴加工を施し、六角穴付ボルト
（M2.5）で遮光板をワークに取り付けてください。
センサ取付位置参考図（単位：mm）
yストロークが 50 mmの場合、取り付けられるセンサは 2 個です。
yセンサと遮光板は、図の反対側にも取り付けられます。
y図は、Xテーブルタイプの例です。Yテーブルタイプでもセンサ取付位置は同じです。

* Normally open or nor ally closed can be selected by the connection method of the sensor. When selecting normally closed, connect the brown lead and pink lead.
To extend the wiring length of the sensor, insert the electrolytic capacitor (10 µF, 50 V) to the position of 2 m (6.6 ft.) or less from the sensor.
Installation
Do not install the sensor set while the power is being supplied. Doing so may result in injury or damage to equipment.
yBe sure to install the sensor and shielding plate in the direction shown in the figure. Installing them in the wrong direction may disable sensor
detection or cause the shielding plate to contact the sensor, resulting in sensor damage.
yDo not connect or disconnect the exible cable with connector while the power is supplied. It may damage the sensor.
yWhen installing the sensor mounting bracket and shielding plate to the motorized linear slide, be sure to use the included screws.
yWhen removing the exible cable with connector from the sensor, do not pull the cable.
Installing the sensor
1. Secure the sensor to sensor mounting bracket with the hexagonal socket head screws (M3).
2. Attach the hexagonal socket head screws and hexagonal nuts (both M3) to the sensor
mounting bracket.
Do not tighten because the hexagonal nuts will be inserted into the sensor rail.

Sensor set for exclusive use of EAS Series

3. Insert the hexagonal nuts into the sensor rail and tighten the hexagonal socket head
screws.

4. Connect the exible cable with connector to the sensor.
With the EASM4 and EASM6 types, the exible cable with connector can be stored in the
sensor rail.

5. Secure the shielding plate.
X-table type: Install the shielding plate to the screw holes on the side of the table
with the hexagonal socket head screws (M2.5).
Y-table type: Provide screw holes on the load by a customer, and install the shielding
plate to the load with the hexagonal socket head screws (M2.5).

yWhen the stroke is 50 mm, two sensors can be installed.
yThe sensors and shielding plate can be installed to the opposite side in the gure.
yThe following gure is an installation example of the X-table type. The sensor installation positions are the same even in the Y-table type.

If the included shielding plate contacts the sensor, provide the
shielding plate by a customer.
