This unit has been engineered and manufactured to ensure your personal
safety. But IMPROPER USE CAN RESULT IN POTENTIAL ELECTRICAL
SHOCK OR FIRE HAZARD.
In order not to defeat the safeguards incorporated into this product,
observe the following basic rules for its installation, use and service. Please
read these “Important Safeguards” carefully before use.

replacement of the obsolete outlet.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly
at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from
the apparatus.
• Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
• Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table
specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/
apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long
periods of time.
• Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-
supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects
have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain
or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
• The apparatus shall be connected to a MAINS socket outlet with a
protective earthing connection
• Where the MAINS plug or an appropriate coupler is used as the
disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

Location
Install your Duecanali/Quattrocanali Amplier in well ventilated rack
cabinets.
Secure both front and rear brackets to the rack.
Connect the AC Mains connector to a circuit breaker.
Install the amplier far from EMF emitting devices.
Avoid placing the amplier close to heat generating sources.
Cooling
The ventilation openings must not be impeded by any item, keep a
distance of at least 50 cm from the front and rear ventilation openings
of the amplier.
Duecanali/Quattrocanali implements a forced-air cooling system to
maintain constant operating temperatures. Air enters from the front
panel, exiting at the back of the amplier.
The cooling system features variable-speed DC fans controlled by
the heat sink mounted sensors. This ensures that fan noise and
internal dust accumulation are kept to a minimum.
In the rare event of overheating, sensing circuits shut down
all channels until the amplier cools down to a safe operating
temperature. Normal operation is resumed automatically without the
need for user intervention.
Duecanali/Quattrocanali ampliers can be stacked one on top of the
other, leave one rack unit empty every four to guarantee adequate
air ow.
Cleaning
Use a dry cloth for cleaning the chassis and the front panel. Air lter
cleaning should be scheduled in accordance with the dust levels in
the amplier’s operating environment.
In order to clean the vent lters remove the front cover by rmly
gripping the outermost silver panels and pull them outwards
Use compressed air to remove the dust from lters, or wash it with
clean water (let the lter dry thoroughly before reinstalling them).

Preliminary operations
Signal Grounding
There is no ground switch or terminal on the Duecanali/Quattrocanali
Series ampliers. The unit’s signal grounding system is automatic. In
order to limit hum and/or interference entering the signal path, use
balanced input connections.
In the interests of safety, the unit MUST always operate with electrical
safety earth connected to the chassis via the dedicated Protective
Earth
wire.
Connections
Once properly powered (power cord inserted, sectioning breaker
closed), the system can be either ON or in STANDBY mode
depending on its state at latest power off.
In order to toggle the amplier between ON and STANDBY keep
pressed the power button for 3 seconds. Please consider that
the operating condition can be modied by the REMOTE ON and
REMOTE OFF conguration.
Switching the amplifier On and Off
The Duecanali/Quattrocanali Series ampliers can operate with
different gain applied to the input signal. This feature is designed to
match the voltage of the input signal.
A proper combination of the position of two GAIN switches on the
rear panel sets the operating gain of the amplier
Gain selection
The Smart Rails Management technology implemented in the power
supply unit allows to reduce the power consumption when the input
signal falls under a dened threshold.
When On, Energy Save is active on each channel independently.
If the signal is missing for more than 30 minutes on all channels, the
auto standby is applied and the main PSU is turned off to further
save energy (
Time out time is selectable via Armonía in DSP+D Versions). Normal
operation is resumed in a matter of milliseconds when an incoming
signal is detected.
In order to activate the Energy Save feature, operate the NRG SAVE
dip switch on the rear panel.
Energy Save
Remote ON/OFF is available through the dedicated terminals on the
rear panel.
Both terminals respond to the differential voltage between the
contacts: a voltage difference in the range 5 V

Remote On/Off
This feature may be activated when the power grid is unable to
provide enough current to continuously drive the loads, or when the
number of amplier connected to the same outlet is such that one
can reach the critical power absorption of the line.
When activated, the Breaker Save halves the maximum continuous
current absorption from the mains. This slightly reects on the overall
performance of the system, reducing the available output power.
In order to activate the Breaker Save feature, locate the BRK SAVE
switch on the rear panel.
Breaker Save
The level of each channel can be remotely adjusted by means of a
linear 10 kΩ potentiometer connected to the input LEVEL connector.
When the CH1 MSTR switch is in the OFF position the remote level
potentiometers work independently on each separate channel.
When the CH1 MSTR switch is in the ON position the remote level
potentiometer of channel 1 acts as a master level, controlling the
volume of both channels.
The remote level controls are in series with the level adjustment
knobs in the front panel.

Analog input connections are made via the Phoenix MC 1,5/6-ST-
3,81 5447900 connector.
Analog Audio Input connections
Duecanali/Quattrocanali Series ampliers implement an universal
switching mode power supply with power factor correction operating
in the range from 100 V

Pilot Tone monitoring
The detection of a mismatch in the input pilot tone parameters
(frequency and voltage level) can be used to trigger the backup policy
and activate an alert through the general purpose output switch.
The output pilot tone detection relies on an external signal passing
through the amplier or the internal post DSP pilot tone generator; in
both cases any mismatch between the detected signal and the set
thresholds triggers the general purpose output switches.
IP Addressing
Factory default network settings are DHCP/AutoIP.
In order for the amplier to self-congure when connected to
an existing LAN or PC. Fixed IP policy can also be adopted and
congured through Armonía Pro Audio Suite.
If a DHCP server is not active within the network, the amplier
platform initiates a stateless address auto-conguration (i.e. Zero-
conguration networking methodology– Zeroconf): it self assigns a
local numeric network address (of the type 169.254.x.y – 172.31.*.* for
the secondary network ifpresent– with a subnet mask 255.255.0.0)
and automatically distributes and resolves the host names of the
networking devices.
Both Armonia and the Duecanali/Quattrocanali must belong to
the same subnet. If a DHCP server is present on the network and
a Duecanali/Quattrocanali amplier is in AUTO IP, networking may
become unstable.
As a rule of thumb, turn the DHCP
server on before connecting the amplifiers.
IP addressing of a Duecanali/Quattrocanali amplier is established
during the bootstrap: when the amplier discovers a DHCP server
on the network during the startup, it negotiates the networking
parameters. If the Duecanali/Quattrocanali does not reveal a DHCP
server on the network during the startup, it set itself in AUTO IP mode.

Input selection and Backup Policy
In Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D ampliers it is possible to select
among two input signal sources per channel: analog and Dante
TM
streams. Armonía Pro Audio Suite software provides an interface to
select the input source.
Furthermore Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D ampliers implement
a backup policy aimed to improve reliability against signal fault.
By assigning a bus priority to the two different input sources per
channel, the system is able to automatically switch to a reliable input
connection in case of signal drop or pilot tone mismatch.
Output Load monitoring
Through the Armonía Pro Audio Suite software it is possible to set
the thresholds on the load impedance, at given frequency, that
trigger the general purpose output of any channel in Duecanali/
Quattrocanali DSP+D ampliers.
Armonía Pro Audio Suite
Armonía Pro Audio Suite is the default conguring interface that allows
system setting and customization of the Duecanali/Quattrocanali
DSP+D ampliers.
Armonía can be installed on a PC running Windows (XPSP3 and higher).

Duecanali/Quattrocanali Series ampliers are optimized for working
with 4Ω output loads but a special configuration allows to connect
low loads down to 2Ω.
The 2Ω switch allows to activate on all output channels set to match
low impedance (i.e. in Lo-Z configuration) an operating condition
that optimizes the performance with very low loads, by limiting the
maximum output voltage to 85V
peak
per channel.
For optimal 2Ω performance, it is recommended to select LowZ
mode for all the amplifier’s channels.
Note that 2Ω capabilities are not supported by 4804 models, the dip
switch is therefore marked “USR C”, and its function is reserved.
Lo-Z 2Ω load operation
Any channel of can drive 70V/100V (Hi-Z) distributed line
loudspeakers. In order to connect any channel’s output to a 70V/100V
line, the rear panel DIP switch corresponding to the channel must be
set.
Powersoft recommends to use the built-in HPF (High Pass Filter)
when the amplier is set to drive a distributed line to prevent
loudspeaker transformer saturation, which can considerably
degrade sound performance. The HPF can be activated by means of
the DIP switch corresponding to the channel, two cutting frequency
are available 35 Hz and 70 Hz.
Hi-Z 70V/100V operations
Output connections are made via the Phoenix PC 5/4-STF1-7,62
177859 port.
Any mixed conguration of low and high impedance output loads
can be made: in order to set the load conguration, each channel is
provided with four DIP switches.
Output connections
The port labelled Ethernet is designed to remotely control the
amplier via an Ethernet connection through a personal computer
and Powersoft Armonía Pro Audio Suite software.
Powersoft recommend the use of Ethernet Cat5 straight through –
patch – cables with pin/pair assignments TIA/EIA-568-B, i.e. T568B.

The self check procedure tests the amplier status and reports the
user in case of failures.
After few minutes, at the end of the self check procedure, a
combination of lit LED in the LED panel provides information about
the amplier status.
In order to exit the self check test and resume normal operations,
press once the self check push button

If self check cannot be started because of a fault, the check LED
will blink fast, whilst a reassuring slow blink is an indication of a
completed self check procedure.
Self Check
Duecanali/Quattrocanali Series provides a pair of paralleled general
purpose output connections per channel: one Normally Open
NO
and one Normally Closed
NC.
The connections are available on the back panel via the 6-pin
Phoenix MC 1.5/6-ST-3.81 5447900 connector.
When the amplier is in normal operating condition the NO contacts
are closed, whilst the NC contacts are open, and vice-versa.
These contacts are used to report potentially dangerous faults or
generally unsafe operation conditions by toggling alarm switches
relative to the following events, and any fault preventing the normal
operation of an output channel:
No AC mains (i.e. system shutdown);
Thermal stress: the system temperature is too high and the thermal
protection is engaged;
Short circuit in output wiring: either the loudspeaker or the line is in
short;
Amplier is in Standby
DSP+D versions feature further monitoring on pilot tone and output
load trough Armonía Pro Audio Suite.

contattare un elettricista per sostituire la presa obsoleta.

e al punto in cui fuoriescono dal dispositivo.

Direttiva RAEE
Quando sopraggiunge il momento di gettare il vostro prodotto,
siete pregati di riciclare tutti i possibili componenti.
Questo simbolo indica che quando l’utente nale
desidera gettare il prodotto, questo deve essere inviato
alle strutture di raccolta differenziata per il recupero
e il riciclo. Separando questo prodotto dagli altri riuti
domestici si riduce la quantità di riuti spedita agli
inceneritori o alle discariche preservando in questo modo
le risorse naturali.

Posizione
L’ampliccatore Duecanali/Quattrocanali deve essere installato in
armadi rack ben ventilati.
Fissare entrambe le staffe anteriori e posteriori all’armadio.
Collegare il connettore della rete elettrica CA a un interruttore.
Installare l’amplicatore in una posizione lontana da dispositivi di
emissione di EMF.
Evitare di collocare l'amplicatore vicino a fonti di generazione di
calore.
Raffreddamento
Le aperture di ventilazione non deve essere ostruite da nessun
oggetto, mantenere l’amplicatore a una distanza di almeno 50 cm
dalle aperture di ventilazione anteriori e posteriori.
Duecanali/Quattrocanali implementa un sistema di raffreddamento a
circolazione forzata di aria per mantenere costanti le temperature di
esercizio. L'aria entra dal pannello anteriore ed esce dietro l'amplicatore.
Il sistema di raffreddamento è dotato di ventole a CC con velocità
variabile controllate dai sensori installati su dissipatore di calore.
Questo assicura che il rumore della ventola e l’accumulo di polvere
all’interno siano mantenute ad un livello minimo.
In rari casi di surriscaldamento, i circuiti di rilevamento arrestano tutti
i canali no a quando l'amplicatore si raffreddato a una temperatura
di funzionamento sicura. Il funzionamento normale riprende
automaticamente senza la necessità di intervento da parte dell'utente.
Gli amplicatori Duecanali/Quattrocanali possono essere impilati
uno sopra l’altro, lasciare vuota una unità del rack ogni quattro per
garantire un usso d'aria adeguato.
Pulizia
Utilizzare un panno asciutto per pulire il telaio e il pannello frontale.
La pulizia del ltro dell’aria deve essere pianicata attenendosi ai
livelli di polvere nell'ambiente di funzionamento dell’amplicatore.
Per pulire i ltri di sato rimuovere il coperchio anteriore afferrando
saldamente i pannelli più esterni d’argento e tirandoli verso l'esterno
Utilizzare l’aria compressa per rimuovere la polvere dai ltri, o lavarli
con acqua pulita (lasciar asciugare completamente i ltri prima di
rimontarli).

Operazioni preliminari
Messa a terra del segnale
Non vi è alcun interruttore o morsettiera di messa a terra sugli
amplicatori della serie Duecanali/Quattrocanali. Il sistema di messa
a terra del segnale del dispositivo è automatico. Per evitare che il
ronzio e/o le interferenze entrino nel percorso del segnale, utilizzare
connessioni di ingresso bilanciate.
Per motivi di sicurezza, il dispositivo DEVE sempre funzionare con la
messa a terra per la sicurezza elettrica collegata al telaio mediante il
lo dedicato per la messa a terra di protezione .
Collegamenti
Una volta alimentato correttamente (cavo di alimentazione inserito, interruttore
disattivato), il sistema può trovarsi in modalità ACCESO o in modalità STAND-
BY in base allo stato i cui si trovava quando è stato spento l’ultima volta.
Per far passare l'amplicatore dalla modalità ACCESO alla modalità
STAND-BY tenere premuto il pulsante di alimentazione per 3
secondi. Si prega di considerare che la condizione di funzionamento
può essere modicata utilizzando la congurazione TELECOMANDO
ACCESO e TELECOMANDO SPENTO.
Accendere e Spegnere l’amplificatore
Gli amplicatori della serie Duecanali/Quattrocanali possono operare
con diversi guadagni applicati al segnale di ingresso. Questa funzione
è progettata per adeguarsi alla tensione del segnale di ingresso.
Una combinazione appropriata della posizione di due ATTENUATORI
sul pannello posteriore consente di impostare il guadagno operativo
dell'amplicatore
Selezione del guadagno
La tecnologia Smart Guide Management impiegata nell’unità di
alimentazione consente di ridurre il consumo di energia quando il
segnale di ingresso scende al di sotto di un valore di soglia predenito.
Quando è Acceso, il risparmio di energia è attivo su ciascun canale
in modo indipendente.
Se il segnale è assente per più di trenta minuti su tutti i canali, viene
attivata la funzione di standby automatico e il PSU principale viene
spento per consentire un ulteriore risparmio energetico (
La durata del time
out è modicabile tramite Armonía nelle versioni DSP+D)
. Il funzionamento normale
riprende pochi millisecondi dopo il rilevamento di un segnale in entrata.
Per attivare la funzione di risparmio energetico, azionare il dip switch
NRG SAVE sul pannello posteriore.
Risparmio di energia
L’ACCENSIONE/LO SPEGNIMENTO con il telecomando è disponibile
mediante i morsetti dedicati posti sul pannello posteriore.
Entrambi i morsetti garantiscono la tensione differenziale tra i contatti: una
differenza di tensione nell’intervallo da 5 V

Questa funzione può essere attivata quando la rete elettrica non è in
grado di fornire una corrente sufciente a condurre in modo continuo i
carichi, o quando il numero di amplicatori collegati alla stessa uscita
è tale da raggiungere l’assorbimento critico della potenza della linea.
Quando viene attivato, l’interruttore consente di risparmiare metà
dell’assorbimento continuo di corrente dalla rete elettrica. Questo si
riette leggermente sulle prestazioni complessive del sistema, con
una riduzione delle potenza in uscita disponibile.
Per attivare l’interruttore con la funzione risparmia, individuare
l’interruttore BRK SAVE sul pannello posteriore.

Il livello di ciascun canale può essere regolato in modalità remota per
mezzo di potenziometro lineare da 10 kΩ collegato al connettore del
LIVELLO di ingresso.
Quando l’interruttore CH1 MSTR è in posizione SPENTO il
potenziometro remoto del livello opera in modo indipendente su
ciascun canale separato.
Quando l’interruttore CH1 MSTR è in posizione ACCESO il
potenziometro remoto del livello del canale 1 opera come livello
master, controllando il volume di entrambi i canali.
I comandi remoti dei livelli sono in serie con le manopole di
regolazione dei livelli nel pannello frontale.

I collegamenti degli ingressi analogici vengono realizzati tramite il
connettore Phoenix MC 1,5/6-ST-3,81 5447900.

Gli amplicatori della serie Duecanali/Quattrocanali sono dotati di un

operanti nell'intervallo da 100 V

Controllo del tono pilota
Il rilevamento di un errore di input nei parametri del tono pilota (frequenza
e livello di tensione) può essere utilizzato per eseguire il backup e
azionare un avviso tramite l’interruttore in uscita per scopi generali.
Il rilevamento del tono pilota in uscita si basa su un segnale esterno
che passa attraverso l'amplicatore o il generatore interno della
posizione DSP del tono pilota; in entrambi i casi qualsiasi discrepanza
tra il segnale rilevato ed le soglie pressate attivano gli interruttori di
uscita per scopi generali.
Indirizzamento IP
Le Impostazioni di rete predenite in fabbrica sono DHCP/AutoIP.
Afnché l'amplicatore esegua l’auto-congurazione quando si
collega a una rete LAN o un PC esistente. Può anche essere adottata
e congurata anche una politica di IP sso mediante l’Armonía Pro
Audio Suite.
Se neanche un server DHCP risulta attivo all'interno della rete,
la piattaforma dell’amplicatore inizia un l’autocongurazione
dell’indirizzo senza una destinazione (vale a dire la metodologia
- delle congurazione Zero della rete - Zeroconf): si assegna da
sola un valore numerico dell’indirizzo di rete (del tipo 169.254.x.y -
172.31.*.* per la rete secondaria se presente - con una maschera di
sottorete 255.255.0.0), distribuisce e risolve automaticamente i nomi
degli host dei dispositivi di rete.
Sia l’Armonia che la Duecanali/Quattrocanali devono appartenere
alla stessa sottorete. Se è presente un server DHCP sulla rete e un
amplicatore Duecanali/Quattrocanali è impostato su AUTO IP, la
rete può diventare instabile.
Come regola generale, accendere il server DHCP
prima di collegare gli amplificatori.
L’indirizzamento IP di un amplicatore Duecanali/Quattrocanali deve
avvenire durante il bootstrap: quando l'amplicatore scopre un server
DHCP sulla rete all'avvio, negozia i parametri di rete. Se il Duecanali/
Quattrocanali non rivela un server DHCP sulla rete durante l'avvio, si
imposta automaticamente in modalità AUTO IP.

Gli amplicatori Duecanali/Quattrocanali supportano la topologia di rete a
stella tramite la porta Ethernet e la rete Dante

Selezione dell’ingresso e politica di backup
Negli amplicatori Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D e' possibile
scegliere tra due fonti del segnali di ingresso per ogni canale:
analogico e con ussi Dante
TM
. Il software ArmoníaPro Audio Suite
offre un'interfaccia per selezionare la sorgente di ingresso.
Inoltre gli amplicatori Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D
implementano una politica di backup volta a migliorare l’afdabilità
rispetto ai guasti del segnale. Assegnando una priorità di bus a due
diverse sorgenti di ingresso per ciascun canale, il sistema è in grado
di passare automaticamente a un collegamento in ingresso afdabile
in caso di caduta del segnale o di discordanza del tono pilota.
Controllo del carico in uscita
Attraverso il software Armonía Pro Audio Suite e' possibile impostare
le soglie sull'impedenza del carico, ad una data frequenza,
che attivano l'uscita per scopi generali di qualsiasi canale negli
amplicatori Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D.
Armonía Pro Audio Suite
Armonía Pro Audio Suite è l’interfaccia predenita per la congurazione
che consente l'impostazione del sistema e la personalizzazione degli
amplicatori Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D.
Armonía può essere installata su PC con Windows XP (SP3 e superiore).
Si può scaricare gratuitamente Armonía Pro Audio Suite dal sito web dedicato:
http://armonia.powersoft.it/armonia/
Gli amplicatori della serie Duecanali/Quattrocanali sono ottimizzati
per operare con carichi di uscita da 4Ω ma una speciale configurazione
consente di collegare carichi bassi fino a 2 Ω.
L’interruttore 2Ω consente di attivare tutti i canali in uscita impostati per
adeguarsi alla condizione di funzionamento a bassa impedenza (cioè
in configurazione Lo-Z) che ottimizza le prestazioni con carichi molto
bassi, limitando la massima tensione in uscita a 85 V di
picco
per canale.
Per prestazioni ottimali a 2Ω, si consiglia di scegliere la modalità
LowZ per tutti i canali dell'amplificatore.
Si noti che le funzionalità a 2 Ω non sono supportate dai modelli
4804, per cui il dip switch è contrassegnato con "USR C", e la sua
funzione è riservata.
Funzionamento con carico Lo-Z a 2Ω
Qualsiasi canale trasmette 70V/100V (Hi-Z) su una linea distribuita
di altoparlanti. Per collegare qualsiasi uscita del canale ad una linea
70V/100V, si deve congurare il DIP switch sul pannello posteriore
del canale corrispondente.
Powersoft raccomanda di utilizzare l’HPF (ltro passa alto) integrato
quando l'amplicatore è impostato per trasmettere ad una linea
distribuita per impedire la saturazione del trasformatore degli
altoparlanti, che può degradare sensibilmente le prestazioni audio.
L'HPF può essere attivato mediante il DIP switch corrispondente al
canale, e sono disponibili due frequenze di taglio a 35 Hz e a 70 Hz.
Operazioni Hi-Z 70V/100V
I collegamenti in uscita avvengono mediante la porta Phoenix PC
5/4-STF1-7,62 177859.
Può essere realizzata qualsiasi congurazione mista di carichi
dell’impedenza di uscita bassi e alti: per impostare la congurazione
del carico, ciascun canale è dotato di quattro DIP switch.
Collegamenti in uscita
La porta etichettata Ethernet è progettata per il controllo remoto
dell’amplicatore tramite una connessione Ethernet attraverso un
personal computer e il software Powersoft Armoníun Pro Audio Suite.
Powersoft consiglia l'utilizzo di semplici cavi patch Ethernet CAT5
con contatti /assegnazioni di coppia TIA/EIA-568-B, cioè T568B.
Collegamento Ethernet
La procedura di autocontrollo testa lo stato dell'amplicatore e
segnala eventuali guasti all’utente.
Dopo pochi minuti, al termine della procedura di autodiagnosi, una
combinazione di LED accesi sul pannello LED fornisce informazioni
sullo stato dell'amplicatore.
Per uscire dal test di autodiagnosi e riprendere il funzionamento
normale, premere una volta pulsante di autodiagnosi

Se l’autodiagnosi non può essere avviata a causa di un guasto,
controllare se il LED lampeggia velocemente, mentre un
lampeggiamento lento indica il completamento della procedura di
autodiagnosi.

La serie Duecanali/Quattrocanali fornisce una coppia di collegamenti
paralleli in uscita per impieghi generali per canale: uno

Nessuna rete di alimentazione CA (cioè arresto del sistema);
Stress termico: la temperatura del sistema è troppo alta e viene
attivata la protezione termica;
Corto circuito nel cablaggio di uscita: o l'altoparlante o la linea sono
in corto;

Standort
Installieren Sie Ihren Duecanali/Quattrocanali-Verstärker in gut
belüfteten Rackschränken.
Befestigen Sie die vorderen und hinteren Halterungen am Rack.
Schließen Sie den AC-Netzstecker an einen Schutzschalter an.
Installieren Sie den Verstärker weit entfernt von EMF-emittierenden Geräten.
Stellen Sie den Verstärker nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen auf.
Kühlung
Die Lüftungsöffnungen dürfen nicht durch Gegenstände behindert
werden, halten Sie einen Abstand von mindestens 50 cm zu den
vorderen und hinteren Lüftungsöffnungen des Verstärkers ein.
Duecanali/Quattrocanali verfügt über ein Druckluftkühlsystem zur
Aufrechterhaltung konstanter Betriebstemperaturen. Die Luft tritt über
die Frontplatte ein und tritt an der Rückseite des Verstärkers aus.
Das Kühlsystem ist mit drehzahlvariablen DC-Lüftern ausgestattet, die
von den auf dem Kühlkörper montierten Sensoren gesteuert werden.
Dadurch werden Lüftergeräusche und interne Staubansammlungen
auf ein Minimum reduziert.
Im seltenen Fall einer Überhitzung schalten die Messkreise alle Kanäle ab, bis der
Verstärker auf eine sichere Betriebstemperatur abgekühlt ist. Der Normalbetrieb
wird automatisch wieder aufgenommen, ohne dass der Benutzer eingreifen muss.
Duecanali/Quattrocanali-Verstärker können übereinander gestapelt
werden, lassen Sie alle vier Racks leer, um einen ausreichenden
Luftstrom zu gewährleisten.
Reinigung
Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse und die Frontplatte mit einem trockenen
Tuch. Die Luftlterreinigung sollte entsprechend der Staubbelastung
in der Betriebsumgebung des Verstärkers geplant werden.
Zur Reinigung der Belüftungslter entfernen Sie die Frontabdeckung,
indem Sie die äußersten Silberplatten fest greifen und nach außen ziehen
Verwenden Sie Druckluft, um den Staub aus den Filtern zu entfernen,
oder waschen Sie ihn mit sauberem Wasser (lassen Sie den Filter
gründlich trocknen, bevor Sie ihn wieder einsetzen).

Vorbereitende Arbeiten
Signal-Erdung
Bei den Verstärkern der Duecanali/Quattrocanali-Serie gibt es keinen
Erdungsschalter oder Anschluss. Die Signalerdung des Gerätes erfolgt
automatisch. Um das Eindringen von Brummen und/oder Störungen in den
Signalweg zu begrenzen, verwenden Sie symmetrische Eingangsanschlüsse.
Im Interesse der Sicherheit MUSS das Gerät immer mit einer
elektrischen Schutzerde betrieben werden, die über die spezielle
Schutzerde
mit dem Chassis verbunden ist.
Verbindungen
Nach ordnungsgemäßer Spannungsversorgung (Netzkabel
eingesteckt, Trennschalter geschlossen) kann das System je nach
Zustand entweder eingeschaltet ON oder im STANDBY-Modus sein.
Um den Verstärker zwischen ON und STANDBY umzuschalten, halten
Sie die Power-Taste 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Bitte beachten Sie,
dass der Betriebszustand durch die Konguration REMOTE ON und
REMOTE OFF verändert werden kann.
ON-OFF Schalten des Verstärkers
Die Verstärker der Duecanali/Quattrocanali-Serie können mit
unterschiedlicher Verstärkung des Eingangssignals arbeiten. Diese Funktion
ist so ausgelegt, dass sie der Spannung des Eingangssignals entspricht.
Eine korrekte Kombination der Stellung von zwei GAIN-Schaltern auf
der Rückseite stellt die Betriebsverstärkung des Verstärkers ein
Gain-Auswahl
Die im Netzteil implementierte Smart Rails Management Technologie
ermöglicht es, den Stromverbrauch zu reduzieren, wenn das
Eingangssignal unter einen denierten Schwellenwert fällt.
Wenn ON, ist Energiesparen auf jedem Kanal unabhängig voneinander aktiv.
Wenn das Signal für mehr als 30 Minuten auf allen Kanälen fehlt, wird
der automatische Standby-Modus aktiviert und das Hauptnetzteil
ausgeschaltet, um weiter Energie zu sparen (
Time out time ist über Armonía in DSP+D
Versionen wählbar)
. Der Normalbetrieb wird innerhalb von Millisekunden wieder
aufgenommen, wenn ein ankommendes Signal erkannt wird.
Um die Energiesparfunktion zu aktivieren, betätigen Sie den DIP-
Schalter NRG SAVE auf der Rückseite.

Remote ON/OFF ist über die entsprechenden Anschlüsse auf der
Rückseite möglich.
Beide Klemmen reagieren auf die Differenzspannung zwischen den Kontakten:

Diese Funktion kann aktiviert werden, wenn das Stromnetz nicht genügend
Strom liefern kann, um die Verbraucher kontinuierlich anzutreiben, oder wenn
die Anzahl der an den gleichen Ausgang angeschlossenen Verstärker so groß
ist, dass man die kritische Leistungsaufnahme der Leitung erreichen kann.
Bei Aktivierung halbiert der Breaker Save die maximale Dauerstromaufnahme
aus dem Netz. Dies wirkt sich leicht auf die Gesamtleistung des Systems
aus und reduziert die verfügbare Ausgangsleistung.
Um die Breaker Save-Funktion zu aktivieren, müssen Sie den BRK
SAVE-Schalter auf der Rückseite des Geräts betätigen.

Der Pegel jedes Kanals kann über ein lineares Potentiometer 10 kΩ
am Eingang LEVEL eingestellt werden.
Wenn sich der Schalter CH1 MSTR in der Stellung OFF bendet, arbeiten
die Fern-Potentiometer unabhängig voneinander auf jedem einzelnen Kanal.
Wenn sich der Schalter CH1 MSTR in der Stellung ON bendet, wirkt
das Fern-Pegel-Potentiometer von Kanal 1 als Master-Pegel und
regelt die Lautstärke beider Kanäle.
Die Fernbedienung ist serienmäßig mit den Pegeleinstellknöpfen in
der Frontplatte ausgestattet.

Der Anschluss der Analogeingänge erfolgt über den Phoenix MC
1,5/6-ST-3,81 5447900 Stecker.

Pilot Ton Kontrolle
Die Erkennung einer Fehlanpassung in den Parametern des Eingangspilottons
(Frequenz und Spannungspegel) kann verwendet werden, um die Backup-Richtlinie
auszulösen und einen Alarm über den Universalausgangsschalter zu aktivieren.
Die Ausgangspilottonerkennung beruht auf einem externen Signal, das durch
den Verstärker oder den internen Post-DSP-Pilot-Ton-Generator geleitet wird;
in beiden Fällen löst eine Fehlanpassung zwischen dem erkannten Signal und
den eingestellten Schwellenwerten die universellen Ausgangsschalter aus.
IP-Adressierung
Die werkseitigen Netzwerkeinstellungen sind DHCP/AutoIP.
Damit sich der Verstärker bei Anschluss an ein bestehendes LAN oder
einen PC selbst kongurieren kann. Feste IP-Richtlinien können auch
über die Armonía Pro Audio Suite übernommen und konguriert werden.
Wenn ein DHCP-Server nicht im Netzwerk aktiv ist, initiiert die
Verstärkerplattform eine stateless address auto-conguration (d.h. Zero-
conguration networking methodology - Zeroconf): sie vergibt selbst eine
lokale numerische Netzwerkadresse (vom Typ 169.254.x.y - 172.31.*.*.* für
das Sekundärnetz, falls vorhanden - mit einer Subnetzmaske 255.255.0.0)
und verteilt und löst die Hostnamen der Netzwerkgeräte automatisch auf.
Sowohl Armonia als auch Duecanali/Quattrocanali müssen zum
selben Subnetz gehören. Wenn ein DHCP-Server im Netzwerk
vorhanden ist und sich ein Duecanali/Quattrocanali-Verstärker in
AUTO IP bendet, kann die Vernetzung instabil werden.
Als Faustregel gilt: Drehen Sie das DHCP
Server an, bevor die Verstärker angeschlossen werden.
Die IP-Adressierung eines Duecanali/Quattrocanali-Verstärkers
wird während des Bootstraps festgelegt: Wenn der Verstärker beim
Start einen DHCP-Server im Netzwerk entdeckt, verhandelt er die
Netzwerkparameter. Wenn der Duecanali/Quattrocanali beim Start
keinen DHCP-Server im Netzwerk anzeigt, stellt er sich in den
AUTO-IP-Modus.

den Ethernet-Port und Dante
TM
-Vernetzung über den Dante
TM
-Anschluss.
Eingangsauswahl und Backup-Richtlinien
In Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D Verstärkern kann zwischen zwei Eingangssignalquellen
pro Kanal gewählt werden: Analog- und Dante
TM
-Streams. Die Software Armonía Pro
Audio Suite bietet eine Schnittstelle zur Auswahl der Eingangsquelle.
Darüber hinaus implementieren Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D-
Verstärker eine Backup-Richtlinie, um die Zuverlässigkeit gegen
Signalfehler zu verbessern. Durch die Zuordnung einer Buspriorität
zu den beiden verschiedenen Eingangsquellen pro Kanal kann das
System bei Signalabfall oder Pilot-Ton-Fehlanpassung automatisch
auf eine zuverlässige Eingangsverbindung umschalten.
Ausgang Lastkontrolle
Mit der Software Armonía Pro Audio Suite ist es möglich, die
Schwellenwerte für die Lastimpedanz bei einer bestimmten Frequenz
einzustellen, die den universellen Ausgang eines beliebigen Kanals
in Duecanali/Quattrocanali DSP+D-Verstärkern auslösen.
Armonía Pro Audio Suite
Armonía Pro Audio Suite ist die Standard-Kongurationsoberäche,
welche die Systemeinstellung und Anpassung der Duecanali/
Quattrocanali DSP+D-Verstärker ermöglicht.
Armonía kann auf einem PC mit Windows (XP SP3 und höher)
installiert werden.

Die Verstärker der Duecanali/Quattrocanali-Serie sind für den Betrieb
mit 4Ω Ausgangslasten optimiert, aber eine spezielle Konfiguration
erlaubt es, niedrige Lasten bis zu 2Ω anzuschließen.
Der Schalter 2Ω ermöglicht es, auf allen Ausgangskanälen, die auf niedrige
Impedanz eingestellt sind (z.B. in Lo-Z-Konfiguration), einen Betriebszustand
zu aktivieren, der die Leistung bei sehr niedrigen Lasten optimiert, indem die
maximale Ausgangsspannung auf 85 V
peak
pro Kanal begrenzt wird.
Für eine optimale Leistung von 2Ω wird empfohlen, den LowZ-
Modus für alle Kanäle des Verstärkers zu wählen.
Beachten Sie, dass die Fähigkeiten von 2Ω von 4804 Modellen
nicht unterstützt werden, der DIP-Schalter ist daher mit "USR C"
gekennzeichnet und seine Funktion ist reserviert.
Lo-Z 2Ω Lastbetrieb
Jeder Kanal kann 70V/100V (Hi-Z) Lautsprecher ansteuern. Um den Ausgang
eines Kanals an eine 70V/100V-Leitung anzuschließen, muss der dem Kanal
entsprechende DIP-Schalter auf der Rückseite eingestellt werden.
Powersoft empehlt, den eingebauten HPF (High Pass Filter) zu
verwenden, wenn der Verstärker so eingestellt ist, dass er eine verteilte
Leitung ansteuert, um eine Sättigung des Lautsprechertransformators
zu verhindern, welche die Klangleistung erheblich beeinträchtigen
kann. Der HPF kann über den dem Kanal entsprechenden DIP-
Schalter aktiviert werden, zwei Schnittfrequenzen stehen zur
Verfügung: 35 Hz und 70 Hz.
Hi-Z 70V/100V Betrieb
Die Ausgangsanschlüsse erfolgen über den Phoenix PC 5/4-STF1-
7,62 177859 Anschluss.
Jede beliebige Mischkonguration von nieder- und hochohmigen
Ausgangslasten ist möglich: Zur Einstellung der Lastkonguration
ist jeder Kanal mit vier DIP-Schaltern ausgestattet.
Ausgangsanschlüsse
Der Port mit der Bezeichnung Ethernet dient zur Fernsteuerung des
Verstärkers über eine Ethernet-Verbindung über einen PC und die
Software Powersoft Armonía Pro Audio Suite.
Powersoft empehlt die Verwendung von Ethernet Cat5 Kabel mit
Pin - /Paarbelegung TIA/EIA-568-B, d.h. T568B.
Ethernet-Anschluss
Der Selbsttest prüft den Zustand des Verstärkers und meldet den
Anwender im Fehlerfall.
Nach wenigen Minuten, am Ende des Selbsttestes, gibt eine Kombination aus
leuchtender LED im LED-Panel Auskunft über den Zustand des Verstärkers.
Um den Selbsttest zu beenden und den normalen Betrieb wieder
aufzunehmen, drücken Sie einmal die Taste Self Check

Wenn der Selbsttest wegen eines Fehlers nicht gestartet werden
kann, blinkt die Kontroll-LED schnell, während ein beruhigendes
langsames Blinken ein Hinweis auf einen abgeschlossenen
Selbsttest ist.
Self Check
Die Duecanali/Quattrocanali-Serie bietet zwei parallele Universalausgänge
pro Kanal: einen Schließer
NO und einen Öffner NC.
Die Anschlüsse sind auf der Rückseite über den 6-poligen Phoenix
MC 1,5/6-ST-3,81 5447900 Stecker verfügbar.
Im normalen Betriebszustand des Verstärkers sind die
Schließerkontakte geschlossen, während die Öffnerkontakte
geöffnet sind und umgekehrt.
Diese Kontakte werden verwendet, um potenziell gefährliche Fehler
oder allgemein unsichere Betriebszustände durch Umschalten der
Alarmschalter in Bezug auf die folgenden Ereignisse und jeden Fehler,
der den normalen Betrieb eines Ausgangskanals verhindert, zu melden:
Kein Wechselstromnetz (d.h. Systemabschaltung);
Thermische Belastung: Die Systemtemperatur ist zu hoch und der
Thermoschutz ist eingeschaltet;
Kurzschluss in der Ausgangsverdrahtung: entweder der Lautsprecher
oder die Leitung ist kurz;
Verstärker bendet sich im Standby-Modus
Die DSP+D-Versionen verfügen über eine weitere Überwachung von
Pilotton und Ausgangslast durch die Armonía Pro Audio Suite.

Emplacement
Installer l'amplicateur Duecanali / Quattrocanali dans des armoires
avec racks bien ventilées.
Fixer les étriers avant et arrière au rack.
Connecter le connecteur section CA à un disjoncteur.
Installer l'amplicateur loin des dispositifs émetteurs EMF.
Éviter de placer l'amplicateur à proximité de sources de chaleur.
Refroidissement
Les ouvertures de ventilation ne doivent pas être entravées par un
objet, maintenir une distance d'au moins 50 cm des ouvertures de
ventilation avant et arrière de l'amplicateur.
Duecanali / Quattrocanali met en œuvre un système de
refroidissement à air forcé pour maintenir des températures de
fonctionnement constantes. L'air entre par le panneau avant et sort
à l'arrière de l'amplicateur.
Le système de refroidissement comporte des ventilateurs CC à
vitesse variable contrôlés par les capteurs montés sur le dissipateur
de chaleur. Cela permet de réduire au minimum le bruit du ventilateur
et l'accumulation de poussière à l'intérieur.
Dans les rares cas de surchauffe, les circuits de détection coupent
tous les canaux jusqu'à ce que l'amplicateur refroidisse à une
température de fonctionnement sûre. Le fonctionnement normal
reprend automatiquement sans intervention de l'utilisateur.
Les amplicateurs Duecanali / Quattrocanali peuvent être empilés
les uns sur les autres, laisser une unité vide toutes les quatre pour
garantir un débit d'air sufsant.
Nettoyage
Utiliser un chiffon sec pour nettoyer le châssis et le panneau avant.
Le nettoyage du ltre à air doit être planié en fonction des niveaux
de poussière dans l'environnement de travail de l'amplicateur.
Pour nettoyer les ltres de ventilation, retirer le couvercle avant en saisissant
fermement les panneaux argentés les plus à l'extérieur et les tirer vers l'extérieur
Utiliser de l'air comprimé pour éliminer la poussière des ltres, ou
les laver avec de l'eau propre (laisser le ltre sécher complètement
avant de les réinstaller).

Opérations préliminaires
Mise à la terre du signal
Il n'y a pas d'interrupteur ou de borne de terre sur les amplicateurs de la série
Duecanali / Quattrocanali. Le système de mise à la terre du signal de l'unité
est automatique. An de limiter les bourdonnements et/ou les interférences
dans le trajet du signal, utiliser des connexions d'entrée symétriques.
Dans l'intérêt de la sécurité, l'unité DOIT toujours fonctionner avec
la terre de sécurité électrique connectée au châssis via le l de terre
de protection
dédié.

Une fois correctement alimenté (cordon d'alimentation inséré,
disjoncteur de sectionnement fermé), le système peut être activé en
mode ON ou en VEILLE en fonction de son état au dernier arrêt.
Pour basculer l'amplicateur entre ON et VEILLE, maintenir le
bouton d'alimentation enfoncé pendant 3 secondes. Prendre en
considération que les conditions de fonctionnement peuvent être
modiées par la conguration REMOTE ON et REMOTE OFF.
Allumer et éteindre l'amplificateur
Les amplicateurs de la série Duecanali / Quattrocanali peuvent
fonctionner avec un gain différent appliqué au signal d'entrée. Cette
fonction est conçue pour correspondre à la tension du signal d'entrée.
Une combinaison appropriée de la position de deux commutateurs
GAIN sur le panneau arrière détermine le gain de fonctionnement de
l'amplicateur
Sélection du gain
La technologie Smart Rails Management mise en œuvre dans l'unité
d'alimentation permet de réduire la consommation d'énergie lorsque
le signal d'entrée tombe sous un seuil déni.
Lorsque cette option est activée, Energy Save est activé sur chaque
canal indépendamment.
Si le signal est absent pendant plus de 30 minutes sur tous les canaux,
la veille automatique est appliquée et l'alimentation principale est
coupée pour économiser de l'énergie(
le temps de temporisation est sélectionnable
via Armonía dans les versions DSP + D)
. Le fonctionnement normal reprend en
quelques millisecondes lorsqu'un signal entrant est détecté.
Pour activer la fonction Économie d'énergie, utiliser le commutateur
dip NRG SAVE sur le panneau arrière.
Économie d'énergie
La fonction ON/OFF à distance est disponible via les bornes dédiées
sur le panneau arrière.
Les deux bornes répondent à la tension différentielle entre les
contacts : une différence de tension dans la plage 5 V

Cette fonction peut être activée lorsque le réseau électrique est incapable
de fournir sufsamment de courant pour entraîner en continu les charges,
ou lorsque le nombre d'amplicateurs connectés à la même sortie est tel
que l'on peut atteindre l'absorption de puissance critique de la ligne.
Lorsqu'elle est activée, la fonction Breaker Save réduit de moitié
l'absorption de courant continu maximale du secteur. Cela reète
légèrement les performances globales du système, réduisant la
puissance de sortie disponible.
Pour activer la fonction Breaker Save, localiser le commutateur BRK
SAVE sur le panneau arrière.
Sauvegarde Disjoncteur
Le niveau de chaque canal peut être réglé à distance au moyen d'un
potentiomètre linéaire de10 kΩ connecté au connecteur d'entrée LEVEL.
Lorsque le commutateur CH1 MSTR est en position OFF, les
potentiomètres de niveau à distance fonctionnent indépendamment
sur chaque canal séparé.
Lorsque le commutateur CH1 MSTR est en position ON, le
potentiomètre de niveau à distance du canal 1 agit comme un niveau
maître, contrôlant le volume des deux canaux.

de réglage du niveau sur le panneau avant..

Surveillance du signal pilote
La détection d'une discordance dans les paramètres du signal pilote
d'entrée (niveau de fréquence et de tension) peut être utilisée pour
déclencher la politique de sauvegarde et activer une alerte via le
commutateur de sortie général.
La détection du signal pilote de sortie repose sur un signal externe
passant par l'amplicateur ou le générateur du signal pilote post-DSP
interne ; dans les deux cas, toute discordance entre le signal détecté et
les seuils dénis déclenche les commutateurs de sortie à usage général.
Adressage IP
Les paramètres réseau réglés en usine par défaut sont DHCP /
AutoIP.
Pour que l'amplicateur s'auto-congure lorsqu'il est connecté à un
réseau LAN ou PC existant. La politique IP xe peut également être
adoptée et congurée via Armonía Pro Audio Suite.
Si un serveur DHCP n'est pas actif dans le réseau, la plate-forme
d'amplicateur initie une auto-conguration d'adresse sans état
(Zeroconf) : il attribue lui-même une adresse réseau numérique locale
(du type 169.254.xy - 172.31. *. * pour le réseau secondaire s'il est
présent - avec un masque de sous-réseau 255.255.0.0) et distribue et
résout automatiquement les noms d'hôte des périphériques du réseau.
Armonia et Duecanali / Quattrocanali doivent appartenir au même
sous-réseau. Si un serveur DHCP est présent sur le réseau et qu'un
amplicateur Duecanali / Quattrocanali est en mode AUTO IP, le
réseau peut devenir instable.
Selon la règle empirique, activer le serveur DHCP
avant de connecteur les amplificateurs.
L'adressage IP d'un amplicateur Duecanali / Quattrocanali est
établi lors du bootstrap : lorsque l'amplicateur découvre un serveur
DHCP sur le réseau lors du démarrage, il négocie les paramètres
réseau. Si le Duecanali / Quattrocanali ne révèle pas un serveur
DHCP sur le réseau lors du démarrage, il se met en mode AUTO IP

Sélection d'entrée et politique de sauvegarde
Dans les amplicateurs DSP + D Duecanali / Quattrocanali, il est
possible de sélectionner parmi deux sources de signaux d'entrée par
canal : les ux analogiques et Dante
TM
. Le logiciel Armonía Pro Audio
Suite fournit une interface pour sélectionner la source d'entrée.
En outre, les amplicateurs Duecanali / Quattrocanali DSP + D
mettent en œuvre une politique de sauvegarde visant à améliorer la
abilité contre les défauts de signal. En attribuant une priorité bus
aux deux différentes sources d'entrée par canal, le système peut
basculer automatiquement vers une connexion d'entrée able en
cas de perte de signal ou de discordance du signal pilote.
Surveillance de la charge de sortie
Grâce au logiciel Armonía Pro Audio Suite, il est possible de régler
les seuils sur l'impédance de charge, à une fréquence donnée, qui
déclenchent la sortie générale de n'importe quel canal dans les
amplicateurs Duecanali / Quattrocanali DSP + D.

Armonía Pro Audio Suite est l'interface de conguration par défaut
qui permet le réglage du système et la personnalisation des
amplicateurs Duecanali / Quattrocanali DSP + D.
Armonía peut être installé sur un PC fonctionnant avec Windows (XP
SP3 et supérieur).

Les amplicateurs de la série Duecanali / Quattrocanali sont
optimisés pour fonctionner avec des charges de sortie de 4Ω mais
une configuration spéciale permet de connecter des charges faibles
jusqu'à 2Ω.
Le commutateur 2Ω permet d'activer sur tous les canaux de
sortie réglés pour harmoniser à basse impédance (c'est-à-dire en
configuration Lo-Z), une condition de fonctionnement qui optimise
les performances avec des charges très faibles, en limitant la tension
de sortie maximale 85V

Pour des performances 2Ω optimales, il est recommandé de
sélectionner le mode LowZ pour tous les canaux de l'amplificateur.
Noter que les capacités 2Ω ne sont pas supportées par les modèles
4804, le commutateur DIP est donc marqué "USR C" et sa fonction
est réservée.
Fonctionnement avec charge Lo-Z 2Ω
Tout canal peut piloter des haut-parleurs 70V / 100V (Hi-Z) de ligne
distribués. Pour connecter la sortie de n'importe quel canal à une
ligne 70V / 100V, l'interrupteur DIP du panneau arrière correspondant
au canal doit être réglé.
Powersoft recommande d'utiliser le ltre HPF intégré (High Pass
Filter) lorsque l'amplicateur est réglé pour piloter une ligne distribuée
an d'empêcher la saturation du transformateur du haut-parleur, ce
qui peut considérablement dégrader les performances sonores. Le
HPF peut être activé au moyen du commutateur DIP correspondant
au canal, deux fréquences de coupe sont disponibles : 35 Hz et 70
Hz.

Les connexions de sortie sont effectuées via le port Phoenix PC5/4-
STF1-7,62 177859.
Toute conguration mixte de charges de sortie basse et haute
impédance peut être réalisée : pour congurer les paramètres de
charge, chaque canal est équipée de quatre commutateurs DIP.
Connexions de sortie
Le port Ethernet est conçu pour contrôler à distance l'amplicateur
via une connexion Ethernet au moyen d'un ordinateur personnel et
du logiciel Powersoft Armonía Pro Audio Suite.
Powersoft recommande l'utilisation de câbles – patch – Ethernet
Cat5 avec des affectations de broche / paire TIA / EIA-568-B, c'est-
à-dire T568B.
Connexion Ethernet
La procédure d'auto-vérication teste l'état de l'amplicateur et
signale à l'utilisateur toute défaillance.
Après quelques minutes, à la n de la procédure d'auto-vérication,
une combinaison de voyants LED allumés sur le panneau LED fournit
des informations sur l'état de l'amplicateur..
Pour quitter le test d'auto-vérication et reprendre les opérations
normales, appuyer une fois sur le bouton-poussoir d'auto-vérication

Si l'auto-vérication ne peut pas être démarré en raison d'une
défaillance, le voyant de contrôle clignote rapidement, tandis
qu'un clignotement lent et rassurant indique une procédure d'auto-
vérication terminée.
Auto-vérification
La série Duecanali / Quattrocanali fournit une paire de connexions
de sortie à usage général en parallèle par voie: une normalement
ouverte
NO et une normalement fermée NC.
Les connexions sont disponibles sur le panneau arrière via le
connecteur Phoenix MC 1.5 / 6-ST-3.81 5447900 à 6 broches.
Lorsque l'amplicateur est en état de fonctionnement normal, les
contacts NO sont fermés, tandis que les contacts NF sont ouverts
et vice-versa.
Ces contacts sont utilisés pour signaler des défaillances
potentiellement dangereuses ou des conditions de fonctionnement
généralement dangereuses en basculant les commutateurs d'alarme
par rapport aux événements suivants, et tout défaut empêchant le
fonctionnement normal d'un canal de sortie :
Pas de secteur CA (c'est-à-dire arrêt du système) ;
Contrainte thermique : la température du système est trop élevée et
la protection thermique est engagée ;
Court-circuit dans le câblage de sortie : soit le haut-parleur ou la
ligne sont en court-circuit ;
L'amplicateur est en veille
Les versions DSP + D offrent une surveillance supplémentaire de la
tonalité pilote et de la charge de sortie via Armonía Pro Audio Suite.

20 | Duecanali - Quattrocanali
Locación
Instale su amplicador de Duecanali/Quattrocanali en gabinetes con
estantes bien ventilados.
Asegure tanto los soportes delanteros como los traseros del estante.
Enchufe el conector AC de la red eléctrica al circuito del interruptor
automático.
Instale el amplicador lejos de dispositivos emisores EMF.
Evite colocar el amplicador cerca de fuentes generadoras de calor.
Enfriamiento
Las aberturas de ventilación no deben estar impedidas por ningún
elemento, mantenga una distancia de por lo menos 50 cms desde la
parte frontal y trasera del amplicador.
Duecanali/Quattrocanali implementan un sistema de enfriamiento
de aire forzado para mantener temperaturas de funcionamiento
constantes. El aire entra desde el tablero frontal, saliendo por detrás
del amplicador.
El sistema de enfriamiento ofrece ventiladores DC de velocidad
variable controlados por los sensores montados de disipadores
térmicos. Esto asegura que el ruido del ventilador y la acumulación
de polvo interno se mantengan al mínimo.
En caso extremo de recalentamiento, los circuitos sensores cierran
todos los canales hasta que el amplicador se enfríe y así llegar a
una temperatura segura de funcionamiento. La operación normal se
reanuda automáticamente sin la necesidad de la intervención del
usuario.
Los amplicadores de Duecanali/Quattrocanali pueden ser apilados
uno sobre el otro, deje un estante vacío cada cuatro para garantizar
el ujo de aire adecuado.
Limpieza
Use un paño seco para limpiar el bastidor y el tablero frontal. La
limpieza del ltro de aire debe ser programada de acuerdo con los
niveles de polvo en el ambiente de operatividad del amplicador.
Con el n de limpiar los ltros de ventilación remueva la cubierta frontal agarrando
rmemente los paneles plateados ultra periféricos y halándolos hacia afuera
Use aire comprimido para remover el polvo de los ltros o lávelos
con agua limpia (permita que los ltros se sequen a fondo antes de
instalarlos).

Operaciones Preliminares
Señal de tierra
No existe un interruptor o terminal a tierra en Los amplicadores
de las series Duecanali/Quattrocanali. La señal de la unidad del
sistema de tierra es automática. Con el n de limitar el zumbido
y/o la interferencia cuando ingresa a la trayectoria de la señal, use
conexiones de entrada equilibradas.
En los intereses de la seguridad, la unidad DEBE siempre operar con
la seguridad eléctrica a tierra conectada al chasis mediante el cable
protector a tierra destinado para tal n.
Conexiones
Una vez que esté debidamente encendido (el cable de energía
enchufado, el circuito seccionador cerrado) el sistema puede estar
ENCENDIDO o en MODO DE ESPERA dependiendo de su estado la
última vez que fue apagado.
Con el n de alternar el amplicador entre ENCENDIDO o ESPERA
mantenga presionado el botón de encender por 3 segundos. Por
favor considere que la condición de operación puede ser modicada
por la conguración REMOTO ENCENDIDO o REMOTO APAGADO.
Prender y Apagar el amplificador
Los amplicadores de las series Duecanali/Quattrocanali pueden
funcionar con diferente ganancia aplicada a la señal de entrada. Esta
función está diseñada para igualar el voltaje la señal de entrada.
Una apropiada combinación de la posición de dos interruptores
GAIN en el panel trasero establece la ganancia de operatividad del
amplicador
Selección de ganancia
La tecnología de la Gerencia de Smart Rails implementada en la
unidad de suministro de energía permite reducir el consumo de
energía cuando cae la señal de entrada bajo un límite denido.
Cuando está encendido, el ahorro de energía está activado en cada
canal independientemente.
Si se pierde la señal por más de 30 minutos en todos los canales,
se aplica la auto espera y el PSU principal se apaga para ahorrar
más energía (El tiempo de espera se selecciona en los modelos
Armonía in DSP+D). La operación normal se reanuda en cuestión de
milisegundos cuando se detecta una señal externa.
Con el n de activar la característica de Ahorro de Energía, opere el
interruptor de ahorro dip NRG en el tablero trasero.
Ahorro de energía
Remoto ENCENDIDO/APAGADO está disponible a través de los
terminales destinados en el panel trasero.
Ambos terminales responden al voltaje diferencial entre los contactos una
diferencia de voltaje en el rango 5 V

Esta función podría ser activada cuando la red de energía eléctrica es incapaz
de proporcionar suciente corriente para manejar las cargas continuamente,
o cuando el número de amplicador conectado a la misma salida es tal que
uno de ellos pueda alcanzar la crítica absorción de energía de la línea.
Cuando se activa, el Interruptor de Ahorro divide en dos la máxima
absorción de corriente continua desde la red eléctrica principal.
Esto se reeja ligeramente en el desempeño del sistema en general,
reduciendo la energía de salida disponible.
Para activar la función del Interruptor de Ahorro, localice el pulsador
BRK SAVE en el panel trasero.
Interruptor de ahorro
El nivel de cada canal puede ser ajustado de forma remota por
medio de un potenciómetro lineal 10 kdΩ enchufado al conector del
NIVEL de entrada.
Cuando el conector CH1 MSTR está en la posición de apagado los
potenciómetros de nivel remotos trabajan independientemente en
canales separados.
Cuando el conector CH1 MSTR está en la posición de encendido
el potenciómetro de nivel remoto del canal 1 actúa como un nivel
maestro, controlando el volumen de ambos canales.
Los controles de nivel remoto están en serie con las perillas de
ajuste de nivel en el tablero frontal.
Ajuste del nivel remoto
Las conexiones de entrada análogas son hechas mediante el
conector Phoenix MC 1,5/6-ST-3,81 5447900.
Conexiones de Entrada de Audio Análogas
Los amplicadores de las series Duecanali/Quattrocanali implementan
una fuente de alimentación conmutada de suministro eléctrico con una
corrección de factor de poder que opera en un rango desde 100 V

La conexión AC de la red eléctrica se encuentra en el tablero trasero a través
de la entrada IEC C20, el cable de poder aprobado está incorporado.
